Winnie was a saving grace for our family's transition from one child to two. She took excellent care of our newborn - we felt very comfortable handing him off each evening. She is very communicative and good at troubleshooting newborn challenges. Each night before bed she would check in with each of us about how we were doing mentally and emotionally. It's clear that she cares about connecting with families on a deeper level beyond newborn car - truly adding the post partum support that a family needs in the early weeks. We have two cats and a dog all of whom also adored her. She has a natural calm and nurturing energy which put us at ease instantly.

I cannot recommend Winnie highly enough for her exceptional care and support as our overnight doula for our twins back in December and January. From the very beginning, she displayed an unmatched level of kindness, helpfulness, and dedication, going above and beyond in every aspect.

During a challenging time when one of our twins battled severe jaundice, Winnie remained unwavering in her commitment to their well-being. She not only ensured that both babies were fed and comfortable but also took extra care to accommodate the specific needs of our jaundiced baby, diligently attending to his light therapy schedule and ensuring his comfort throughout the night.

Her expertise and compassion were evident in every interaction, and her presence provided us with much-needed reassurance and peace of mind during those early days. We are incredibly grateful for her invaluable support and highly recommend her to any family in need of overnight doula services.

Winnie was an absolutely amazing part of our early postpartum days. Her overnight visits helped us get some  rest while supporting our roles as new parents and providing wonderful care for our son. Winnie's presence is calm and kind and she is very knowledgable about all things baby and postpartum care. We could not recommend her more! Thank you, Winnie!

Hired Winnie when I was pregnant due to anticipating needing assistance with our first born. Winnie was soo necessary postpartum for me, I was so sick and glad we had her to lean on. She always made sure I was taken care of as well as my little one. She's been a great resource due to her knowledge and her supportive and kind delivery. Now that our little one is a few months old Winnie watches him a few times a month so we can get some child free time! I always know that he's going to be well taken care of and throughly entertained! I can tell my little guy loves her so much!

Having Winnie as our postpartum doula was a real game-changer. From our first phone introduction, we hit it off instantly. She was kind, professional, and seamlessly fit into our family's rhythms.

Her expertise extended beyond just caregiving, as she turned us into pros at using the Moby Wrap for babywearing. Now, we can't imagine a day without it – it brings us closer to our newborn while freeing up our hands to tackle everyday tasks.

Those early mornings and late nights became manageable with Winnie around. Her presence didn't just provide us with some much-needed sleep, but also boosted our confidence as new (again!) parents.

We're genuinely grateful for Winnie's unwavering support and the sincere care she provided. If you're in need of a postpartum doula, we couldn't recommend Winnie more. She’s down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about her work.

Our baby loves you Winnie!

Thank you!

Winnie is a ray of sunshine that helped us immensley after the birth of our first child.  We found Winnie through Wee Welcome Doulas and knew immediately after meeting her that should would fit in perfect with our family and our care needs.  Winnie is not only helpful around the house, cleaning up used bottles and organizing as needed but she is someone you can trust with your baby.  Winnie has a very calm nature about her and takes every crazy baby moment and makes you feel a lot better about yourself. One day we came home after to find Winnie teaching our baby Spanish!  We felt so lucky to have found such a beautiful person inside and out to help us during this time in our lives. I would recommend Winnie any day and never want to give her up as a new and very important member of our family. We love Winnie and anyone would be lucky to have her as their doula.  We 100% will be using her again in the future!

Winnie provided great doula day support, helping with my first several weeks after giving birth. I appreciated her positive, encouraging attitude and advice on breastfeeding, infant development, and self-care. She was a breath of fresh air when she walked through the door, helping reduce stress and helping me learn as a new single mom.

Whitney (Winnie) was a critical part of our postpartum team, and came to the rescue for about two months. When our original postpartum support was coming to an end after the first 3 months, I was struggling with a severe postpartum mood disorder and needed continued support during the day. Yes, Whitney was attentive, warm, and playful with our baby, but mostly she was a beacon of love, an active listener, and a steady hand for me during a very dark and confusing time in my life. I always felt safe with her, and knew our baby was in good hands when I needed space for myself. She was an absolute joy to have in the house, is wonderful with pets, and cares deeply about each of her clients. We miss her already, and would highly recommend her to any postpartum family.

Winnie is a gem and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to care for our daughter my entire 4th trimester. Winnie’s positive energy and knowledge immediately put both me and my husband at ease as first-time parents. In addition to being reliable and dependable, Winnie is an excellent communicator. We loved her reminders for upcoming appointments and how she thoughtfully recapped feeding and sleeping schedules at the end of each visit.

We especially appreciated how Winnie always took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns (and oh did we have lots of them). She was also great at utilizing her trusted resources/network to get answers to questions she was uncertain. Most importantly, we valued how loving and tender Winnie was with our daughter. It was SO reassuring to know that our daughter was safe and in good hands. This trust was very important in allowing me to truly unwind, relax and SLEEP, worry-free, whether it was during daytime or overnight care.

On top of caring for our daughter, Winnie also helped around the house and even supported me in making sure I was taking care of myself. This was an added bonus :)

I seriously can’t praise Winnie enough. She is amazing and was truly instrumental in helping both me and my husband care for our daughter during the first 3 months. Like I said, she is a gem.

Winnie is wonderful with small babies!  She took care of my twins between day 5 through week 4 as an overnight doula. Winnie is always on time and ready to jump into baby world right away.  In a chaotic time, I was happy to be able to rely on Winnie 100% and was delighted to see her each time she visited.

It was such a blessing to wake up after some sleep -- not only was the sleep itself wonderful, but it helped accelerate childbirth recovery.

My very small baby also gained weight well during her first weeks -- Winnie is a baby whisperer!

We engaged Whitney to do overnight doula care when our little one was about 6 weeks old and we were exhausted from the sleepless nights. Right away we could tell that she has a high degree of professionalism in how thorough, thoughtful and organized she was over email and over zoom in addressing our questions and concerns as first time parents. We first engaged her in a 4-hour daytime shift to see how she was in person and the chemistry with our kiddo.

Whitney was great in person - meticulous in protecting the health of herself and the family, a mellow and calm presence, and very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She not only listened to my birth story with great empathy but also helped me fix how I was breastfeeding to ease the back pains I was experiencing as well as the fast let down that overwhelemed my kiddo. She also taught me to use the wrap to babywear, to further ease my back pain. These changes greatly helped with my back pain and made taking care of our kiddo a lot easier and more enjoyable.

We then engaged Whitney in overnight care, and she has been fantastic. She sends us a log at the end of every shift with observations of any abnormalities, as well as suggested resources for anything that we need.

Would highly recommend Whitney to anyone looking for an empathetic, supportive, warm yet very professional post-partum doula!

I had Whitney help out after the birth of our second child. She was with us for several sessions a week for six weeks. It was a great experience! Without family support in the postpartum period due to covid, I was looking for some help to ease recovery and hopefully relieve some of the pressure of this stressful time. Whitney was more than I could have hoped for. She quickly fit into our family's rhythms and was self-driven in her support, which was something that we had discussed in our intro meeting. She helped with newborn care (feeding/diaper/burping/napping) and was often able to multitask and get some chores done (load/unload dishwasher & laundry, folding, picking up toys, etc) She also bonded quickly with our 3 year old in the short periods where he was present. I would not hesitate to also leave him in her care. She cared for the newborn often while myself and partner rested/worked/daycare dropoff. She was reliable and punctual. Her communication was great both for status updates for feeding/diaper/sleep and also if any schedule changes were needed. She was responsive to any feedback/adjustments that were brought up. She was a great listener when we would chat and would often follow up on some of the topics that were discussed with more info or a check in. It is clear she enjoys working with families and is a great fit for this type of intimate work.

Whitney took wonderful care of our daughter between 2-3.5 months. She was friendly and warm towards our daughter. Whitney performed duties such as feeding, bathing, changing, laundry, and playing. It was very helpful to have her around to give me some free time. We liked her so much we recommended her to friends! She is trust worthy and kind. We will definitely use Whitney again if we have another child!

Whitney was a great help during our first full week with our newborn. She provided support with the caring of the baby and ensured that we got sufficient rest during the day by handling it smoothly. It was also very important for us to keep our toddler happy and engaged to be able to rest, and for her to be comfortable with the baby, and Whitney did a great job with the same. Whitney's presence in that week made a lot of difference in us being able to manage the challenges of a new baby with a toddler also in the house and getting enough rest to get us through the day and night.

Whitney was absolute magic! We were struggling with pretty much everything with our new two week old son and two year old daughter when she first arrived. She did an amazing job checking in at the start of each visit to see how she could best help. We looked forward to her visits where she helped make us dinner, do dishes, pick up toys, fold laundry, soothe our newborn and best of all entertain our two year old so we could get some much needed rest(FYI-our daughter looooved her)! Three things that stuck out to me: first, she always filled my water bottle (I know this may seem small but it just felt so nice to feel so cared for);second, she always checked in about how I was doing emotionally which helped me feel so much more connected; third, she pulled some total "mom" moves and put away dishes while she hung out with our daughter to maximize her time with us.

I cannot recommend Whitney enough. I told a friend of mine that if I could keep her forever I would-she felt like an old friend very quickly, knew how to meet and anticipate our needs and made a very difficult transition in our family more manageable.

Whitney cared for my family after my son was born. In the first few days, we were struggling. She came by a few days after we came home. Through some miracle, my baby was asleep at the start of her visit. I will never forget her knocking on my bedroom door with a hot coffee in hand which she handed to me wordlesly. Then she went back downstairs and cleaned the pump parts which were strewn around the kitchen from our middle of the night fumblings. I felt so cared for and supported. She anticipated my needs and did not require much direction. It really took the pressure off of me, allowing me to focus on my wellbeing and recovery while knowing that my son was well cared for. It is really hard to quantify the value of having her as my support person. There were alot of concrete tasks she did for my home; cleaning, snack prep, baby care, laundry, etc. But, her true value is her intuitiveness, patience, and her overall kindness and competency. I can't recall how many times I repeated my traumatic birth story to her. Each time, she listened, really listened, remembered details, and offered support and validation. I highly reccomend her to anyone who needs support after a pregnancy.
