My husband I were blessed to have Adrianne as our doula for my first pregnancy and birthing experience. As a pelvic floor PT myself, I wanted someone to ground my husband and I while I was in labor as I knew that my mind would have been nowhere close to "PT mode" when the time came. Adrianne was very resourceful in answering any questions I had prior to childbirth, and she gave a calm, reassuring presence during my whole labor experience. I would highly recommend working with her if you have the chance to!

Adrianne was such a wonderful support for my family. From the first time we met her she was able to put us at ease and allowed me to talk through what I was looking for during the birth of my daughter. Thoughout my pregnancy Adrianne met with us several times which allowed me to get to know her better. When it came time to give birth, Adrianne communicated with me throughout the day and came to our house when I went into active labor. We ended up giving birth at a birthing center and Adrianne was with me every step of the way. She has a very calming presence and I attribute the quick pace of my birth to her. She reminded me of my strength (especially after I squeezed the s*@# out of her hand for 2 hours).Adrianne continued to follow up with me after the birth and was able to connect us with a lactation consultant in an emergency visit. She also continues to check in with me during my post partum. I am so thankfull that I found Adrianne and would very much recommend her as a doula for your family.

Adrianne was perfect. She gave me so many tools before, during, and after birth that she knew I would benefit from based on our relationship and conversations. She gets to know you, and wants to tailor your birth experience specifically to you, without judgement or self-service! My birth did not go according to plan, but I know for a fact that isn't because of the support staff I had with me...and I can't say that about my previous/first birth. After having a difficult first birth I wondered if it would have been different with a different doula, or nursing staff, etc. I had no doubt that I was in the best hands this time simply because of Adrianne and her assistance, her presence and her recommendations. Please consider her for your birth, I can't say enough good things. I'll be recommending her to my family and friends for sure.

She was so much help. She worked with me to help know what to expect the day of. She made sure I was able to stay calm and relaxed during labor. She even went through the trouble of researching my specific ailment, EDS, and how they might affect labor. She checked ip on me after he was born, and is there for me whenever I have a question.

From the moment I met Adrianne, I knew she was the calm I needed during labor. She was an amazing physical and emotional support system for me and my husband before, during and after labor. I am so grateful to have had Adrianne on my birthing team and look forward to working with her on all future pregnancies.
Thankyou Adrianne for being so amazing and blessing us with your knowledge and peacefulness during an important time in our lives.

Going into the birth of my first, I was afraid and didn't know what to expect. I knew we needed more support, but I didn't feel comfortable having friends or family in the delivery room. It was important to me to have a positive birthing experience as I knew I'd remember it for the rest of my life. I also had a lot of other stuff going on in my personal life leading up to birth, so I felt I needed an expert in the room to help me navigate the medical process.
So, I reached out to Adrianne. When first meeting her, we talked and talked and I could tell her calming presence and confidence would be a great counterbalance to my uncertainty and my anxious feelings.
Throughout all of our prenatal meetings, she was encouraging and you could tell she valued meeting me where I was at, and gauging what was important to me so she could honor my wishes. Our discussions made me really think through my feelings and thoughts in ways I hadn't considered before, which in turn helped me prepare for the process.
For example, I know a lot of people would be interested in a fully natural birth and even though I wanted to hold off on the epidural as long as I could throughout labor so that I could labor naturally, I wanted to eventually get it in the end so I could be more present and calm when I met my child for the first time.
Adrianne was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. My birth didn't entirely go as I hoped as I ultimately had to be induced, but she was there with me every step of the way, offering insights, knowledge and other resources to help me navigate through each turn. She was even there for me postpartum, continuing to check in on me and help out after everything was said and done. I appreciated everything she did for me. Thank you Adrianne!

Adrianne was an essential part of my labor and delivery. Her compassion and gentle approach helped me tremendously. She reminded me and assisted me with moving my body when it was the last thing I wanted to do. Through every scare and worry, I could rely on Adrianne to be there for me. When I experienced a postpartum hemorrhage, she made sure not to leave my side and went above and beyond with her care!

Adrianne provided immediate comfort to Lei when her water broke unexpectedly a month in advance. She stayed with us for most of the labor and delivery, offering advocacy, support, encouragement, wisdom, expertise. She was a constant reassuring presence, greatly reducing the stress of one of life's most stressful occasions. She met with us beforehand and afterwards and shared her experience and advice with warmth and compassion. Highly recommend!

Adrianne was a delight to work with for the birth of our son. I truly believe our experience would have been completely different if she hadn't been there to guide and support us throughout the weeks prior to delivery and during labor itself. Adrianne made herself available to me whenever I needed and even came over on several occasions to help me through prodomal labor and guide me to engage baby. I wish I would have had her for our first!

I wouldn't have been able to get through my natural labor without Adrianne! From the moment I met her I just knew that her calm and comforting spirt would bring me so much ease. She had taken so much time to make sure I was taken care of both physically and mentally for my my baby's birth day.

Adrianne was our doula for the birth of our daughter. She proved to be a huge support for me and my husband before, during, and after the birth. After an initial meet-and-greet Adrianne took the time to get to know us with two prenatal visits. During those visits she helped us mentally and physically prepare for labor by showing us labor positions, talking through what to expect, answering a wide spectrum of questions, and even giving us acupressure information. Leading up to the birth, I experienced small spurts of contractions for several days before the actual big day. Adrianne was available to me through texting during that time and consistently assured me that what I was experiencing was normal and good. Throughout those days of expectation, Adrianne offered so much comfort and ideas for ways to handle the early labor sensations. Once labor officially started, Adrianne made herself available to come to our home when we felt that we needed her. She gave practical support to my husband and suggested a variety of labor positions. I truly believe that the laboring positions she advised were highly instrumental in helping my contractions be productive and my labor to progress quickly. Once we transferred to a birthing center, Adrianne continued to fully support us. She even unofficially took pictures for us throughout the day. We will treasure those photos forever! After giving birth, I struggled with breastfeeding. Adrianne checked in on me multiple times, and came to our house specifically to give support and encouragement when the breastfeeding became overwhelming.
A final note: my husband was hesitant about hiring a doula. He wanted to be an active participant in our daughter's birth and did not want a doula to "replace" him. Adrianne did a fantastic job of giving him tools so that he could be the most supportive partner possible. He was so grateful that we decided to hire her.
I would highly recommend Adrianne's doula services!
