Rebekah helped us with both our birthing and postpartum journey. She is so sweet and kind and a wealth of knowledge! She has a lot of experience, which is very comforting, and she grows her knowledge by taking courses to better her practice.

Rebekah was such a valuable part of my birth and postpartum journey with my second son. I had been through a trauma with my first, and she took the time to listen and provide support for me in all the ways that I needed so that this birth would be more calm and joyful. Rebekah is a wonderful and caring doula who truly cares about the mamas she helps. During my scheduled C-section she was a source of calm and strength, and supported me with physical items such as essential oils as well as emotional support when I needed it most. During my difficult postpartum time, as I was adjusting to being a mom of two as well as slowly recovering physically, she was an incredible support to me. She made me feel comfortable and provided me with so much, including sleep, healthy meals and snacks, baby care tips, household chores done for me, and emotional support. I can not say enough about how helpful she was to me during the first 6 weeks of my postpartum experience. I highly recommend hiring Rebekah as your doula!

I don't know where our family would be without Rebekah's support! She was our birth doula and we also worked with her for postpartum support for our first baby. She was incredible during the birth. She helped me make informed decisions about every intervention and was a huge help to my husband. My labor was long and challenging, but I wouldn't have done anything differently because Rebekah's support made it the best experience it could possibly be. She was so steady and unwavering, which really blew my mind because she came to my birth right after finishing another one. She hadn't slept in like 2 days, but you wouldn't have known it during the ~24 hours (!) that she was with us. We even got compliments from one of our nurses about the support she provided!

We weren't sure initially if we wanted a postpartum doula, but I had some minor health complications that made me realize we'd need some extra help, and I'm so glad I made that decision. On a typical day, Rebekah will watch the baby while I get a good nap. She'll often cook a healthy snack or make dinner for us to reheat later. She is also a baby & breastfeeding expert and has so much knowledge to share. She has so many good tips about everything from nursing positions to diaper changes to managing sleep. Getting through this tough newborn phase has been so much easier with her guidance!

Rebekah was a strong and quiet pillar in my whirlwind birth. She provided stability and reassurance with words of affirmation, gentle touch and requested reminders of God's word. She also helped malpositioning in early labor and active labor with spinning babies suggestions (and a big fat book for reference!), trauma sensitivity, and kick butt photography of my husband catching our daughter!! When I felt lost in transition, she was there whispering words of love and suggesting pain management and relief according to my birth plan. I recommend Rebekah to anyone looking for a strong woman, with an intuitive and calm demeanor, and a companion to your partner during birth.

My husband and I cannot imagine our birth and recovery journey without Rebekah!  We could not have asked for a more kind, knowledgeable, and supportive doula.  After a very difficult path to parenthood, I wanted some extra support during and after giving birth.  Rebekah brought so much expertise, compassion, and even relaxation to the labor and delivery process.  She helped me and my husband to feel empowered to work as a team to get that baby out!  In addition, I can't imagine our first month of parenthood without her postpartum doula services.  Being new parents was much more overwhelming than I'd ever imagined.  Looking forward to Rebekah's help, counsel, and TLC got us through those incredibly challenging early days.  We truly mean it when we say we could not have done it without her!

I can't imagine what my birth or postpartum experience would've been like without Rebekah.

I felt like we clicked very early on, and when she told me that her job was to "mother the mother," that was all I needed to hear.  I had an extremely rapid labor, but she was a calming influence during those frantic moments.  Afterwards she stayed with me when my husband and new baby went to Special Care.  I was in a lot of discomfort and having a lot of bleeding, and I can't imagine having to be alone at that time, but she stayed positive and calm, and made sure I had everything I needed to be as comfortable as possible.  Later she went back to my house and brought a medication that I needed back to the hospital for me - she truly went above and beyond!

She was also wonderful as a postpartum doula.  That first session, we spent a lot of time unpacking my birth experience, and sorting out how I felt about it, which was so helpful.  Over our next several times together she took care of many household tasks, watched my new baby so I could sleep, gave me lots of tips on breastfeeding and newborn care, and just supported me so that I could focus on healing myself and getting to enjoy my new baby.

I'm grateful for her time, thoughtfulness, and positive healing energy, and I would recommend her to any new mama!

Rebekah Milette was my postpartum doula for just over two months, and she was a life saver! My two children are only 16 months apart and I knew I would need some help navigating life after my son was born. Rebekah always seemed to know what I needed before I did. For example, she would suggest that I take a nap and then I would realize how tired I was! Rebekah is kind, patient, thoughtful and very empathetic. She was extremely helpful when it came to problem solving my son's fussiness and sleeping needs. Rebekah took such good care of me and my children that I told my husband I wished she could stay with us forever! I truly don't think I would be in a good head space right now (with two under two) if I had not received care and support from Rebekah these past two months. I completely trusted her judgement and her care of my children, and highly recommend Rebekah to anyone who is considering a postpartum doula.

We had a wonderful experience with Rebekah as our postpartum doula!

She is very knowledgeable, very caring for mom, baby and partner, supportive and easy going! She did SO MUCH for us in this special time - took gerat care of our baby, taught us a lot about newborn care, cooked AMAZING meals for us from her special doula book, she also helped with laudry and other household items.

We highly recommend Rebekah as a doula!

Working with Rebekah was a really great experience! I had always planned to get an epidural, but wanted to labor at home as long as possible.  However, my labor ended up progressing much quicker than expected, and the epidural didn't work - but Rebekah was with me the whole time, reminding me to relax, repeating mantras, and helping me get through each contraction.  I honestly don't know how I could have done it without her!

In addition, the two prenatal visits with Rebekah helped me feel more prepared for labor, and the two postnatal visits made me more confident in caring for my newborn.  She was great at sending me resources, pointing me toward classes like Spinning Babies (which I also highly recommend!), and reaching out before and after the baby was born.

I initially was on the fence whether or not to reach out to a doula to support me at my home birth. Thank goodness we found Rebekah! My husband and I were so grateful to have her by our side at our daughter’s birth.  After deciding to go with Rebekah as our doula, we met to discuss my birthing preferences/plan. She listened to all my concerns and desires for the birth, and offered useful advise. Also, her rate was very reasonable as she worked with us to tailor a package that fit our budget.

When I finally went into labor, my contractions were completely unpredictable even after my water broke. Rebekah kept in constant contact with my husband and I. She knew the right moment when to arrive at my house. Immediately, Rebekah went into action and assisted me through my labor, relieving my husband so he can set up the birthing pool. She was also incredibly intuitive —knew exactly what we needed and when (position changes, cool washcloths, photographs, etc.) At 5:59 AM on June 11th, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Rebekah helped me with breastfeeding, offering useful tips to increase my supply. All in all, Rebekah’s support for birth, postpartum, breastfeeding education, and more was simply a life saver. Even after my birth, Rebekah is still checking in on me. For anyone seeking a birth doula, Rebekah is the best choice!

We had a wonderful experience with Rebekah as our postpartum doula. She was everything we could have hoped for: incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, communicative and fun to be around! She took excellent care of our newborn while supporting our entire household. Our whole family loved having her around and miss her dearly. I would highly recommend Rebekah as a doula.

Rebekah was a fantastic doula and we are so happy to have had her at the birth of our first child. After unexpectedly being induced due to signs of our baby in distress, Rebekah rushed to be with my husband and me at the hospital at the beginning of the induction process. I was extremely nervous and emotional, and Rebekah helped calm and relax me. She was supportive of my decision to use pain medication and used her experience and skills to work with my nurse and care team to try different positions and techniques to help with progression. Despite initial discussions of a possible cesarean birth due to the circumstances, I was able to deliver vaginally and I believe that was due to the support from Rebekah. She never got in the way of my husband but rather enhanced his ability to support me. She also took pictures immediately following the birth which we are so happy to have. Rebekah was very thoughtful and caring during the postpartum period as well, following up via text/phone multiple times and also a home visit. I highly recommend Rebekah!

Rebekah was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post partum. Not only did she bring great resources and support during our prenatal visits and through periodical check ins, but she did the same during post partum. She was consistent in checking in and providing support with breastfeeding, healing, and more. During labor and delivery, she was ready to get to us immediately. Rebekah was extremely encouraging  in affirming me during labor, supported my partner, and advocated for me on multiple occasions to the hospital team. Having Rebekah was a game changer for our entire experience... I am so thankful we had her in our corner!

My husband and I hired Rebekah as our birth doula because we were looking for a support person to help us during the birth of our first child and an unmedicated vaginal delivery. Rebekah stood out to us from the doulas we interviewed for her calming presence and approachability. We had two in person sessions with Rebekah prior to our child's birth. During these sessions we discussed our hopes and fears, what we needed during the delivery, and different coping mechanisms that would work specifically for us. Not only was Rebekah was a great educational resource, but she made us so feel so comfortable and ready for the delivery! Through these sessions I had no doubts that she would be a great advocate and support person. We also had a postpartum session with Rebekah to debrief on the birth and how we were adapting to parenthood. We plan to hire Rebekah again in the future for the birth of our next child, or even for postpartum services as needed. I highly recommend Rebekah!

Rebekah was an amazing support. I am so glad I decided to go with her. She was very calming and very personable. The minute she got to the hospital I started having a contraction and she jumped right in putting counter pressure on my back and massaging me as well as coaching me through my breathing. My husband agreed that she was nothing short of amazing and so so helpful. She talked him through how to support me through each contraction which I think made him feel good because before he had no idea what to do. I got the birth I wanted because of Rebekah's help. She advocated for me and informed me and honestly just telling me how to breathe and massaging my back through each contraction made them much more bareable. If I could go back in time and have her with me during my first birth I would, and should I have another child I hope she'll be available to be with us again.

We worked with Rebekah for the birth of our first son this past Spring and would 100% work with her again. We wanted to work with a doula to make sure our experience delivering at a hospital was what we wanted it to be, and that our wants/needs were met during labor and delivery, and Rebakah helped us make sure that could happen. She was extremely supportive leading up to the birth of our son, always available via phone or text, in addition to in-person meetings. Our son was born a week past his due date and Rebekah offered support and guidance to help us remain patient as we awaited his arrival. Rebekah also rushed to the hospital when I finally was in labor, just one hour after she supported another mother during labor. Rebekah could have easily had us work with her back up doula but she made sure to be there to support us despite her schedule. My birth was everything I wanted it to be and Rebekah was key in making sure that happened.

Having Rebekah as a post partum doula has been refreshing physically, mentally and emotionally.

Initially, I had no clue what to expect with pp care and even hesitated to secure services. But following my traumatic birth experience, I was physically limited in my ability to care for my newborn (and two other little ones), and I could feel the strain my husband and I were under.

Rebekah answered all my questions thoroughly and with patience. She never made me feel pressured to use her services but rather listened to my experiences and offered encouragement that self care is important. She prompted me to advocate for my needs which eventually translated to doing overnight sessions.

Even though the whole thing felt like some strange luxury I didnt deserve, Rebekah made it a smooth and enjoyable process. She emphasized how she was here for me as a mom and validated the importance of the support despite being a veteran mom.

On and off the clock, she checked in, shared research with me, And was always willing to be a listening ear.

With each overnight we discussed what would be beneficial for me. Whether it was allowing her to feed my newborn through the night so I could sleep uninterrupted or to have her bring my newborn to breastfeed etc. She consistently offered tools on how to settle my newborn during fussy periods and also sought out suggestions to help with my own recovery.

Each day Rebekah was scheduled to come was a day I looked forward to. It was a relief.

Rebekah is an amazing doula! She was extremely helpful and responsive before birth, providing my husband and I with knowledge and support that helped us to be more prepared for labor. As first time parents who were not able to attend any birth classes because of covid, this support was incredibly appreciated. I was almost a week overdue before I went into labor and starting to get a little discouraged. Rebekah’s advice, tips, and encouragement were a huge help to me during that time, and were probably the reason I was able to avoid an induction! During labor, Rebekah helped me get into different positions with a peanut ball, despite having had a very numbing epidural. This seemed to help move things along as everything moved at a very fast pace after I got the epidural and started using the peanut ball. When it was time to push, she made sure I always understood what I was supposed to do and helped me to accomplish that - she supported my back with her hand and made sure the nurses knew when I was having a contraction and needed to push. She also worked so well with the nurses, and I felt so supported by the team of people working together to help me and my baby. After the birth, she visited me several times and offered really helpful tips when I had some trouble with breastfeeding. Overall, my husband and I are so glad that we had Rebekah during this time - we can’t imagine what the experience would have been like if we had not had her as our doula! Her support before, during, and after birth was something I really needed as a first time mom, and her positive and encouraging attitude made our whole experience so happy.

Rebekah has been a wonderful postpartum doula.

I had no friends or family in the area after the birth of my son. I decided to get the help of a doula since no one could be in town due to covid.

Rebekah has been supportive since day one. She met me as soon as I was discharged from the hospital. All the new mom fears were lessened due to having Rebekah right there.

She jumped right in to help and support me. From helping with all the new mom fears to supporting conversations and even making lunches and doing dishes.

I don’t know what I would have done without her continued and genuine support.

I would highly recommend hiring Rebekah doula to support you during you postpartum days.

Rebekah was able to help after the delivery of my first child.  To begin, she was always easy to contact and responded quickly.   She was available for questions and never made me feel like any concern was too simple.  I felt like I could reach out and ask anything!  During visits, Rebekah was willing to do whatever I needed.  She was there to help with baby questons regarding breastfeeding, burping, napping, etc.  However, she was also there to fold the laundry, cook meals or just give me a chance to run to the store or take a much needed nap!  It didn't even dawn on me that these things would be so needed post-birth, but Rebekah did a great job at sugguesting ways she could help to make my life easier.  I was also impressed with how she checked in on me personally and my experience as a new mom.  She wanted to be sure I was feeling okay mentally and physically, something that often gets pushed aside when there is a new baby to take care of!  Rebekah knows that a healthy mom is crucial to a well-cared for baby.   She truly has a heart for new moms and is willng to do whatever they need to feel supported and loved.

Rebekah was an incredible presence for us during a really challenging time. She worked with us during the first three months of our first born's life when I really needed some help and guidance. She did everything for me from teaching me how to get my son to sleep to breastfeeding guidance to laundry. Her advice, assistance and company was invaluable. When my husband went back to work, it felt scary (and lonely and exhuasting) having to care for our son all alone. Knowing that "Auntie Rebekah" was coming on certain days - even for a few hours - really helped me get through that time. She's an absolutely kind hearted person and she's super funny. She definitely knows how raise a tired momma's spirits. Rebekah also knows babies so well! And she cared for our little one as if he were her own.

Rebekah came to us in a deep hour of need and provided incredible support! She is not only a baby whisperer, but equally as important, she is a new mama whisperer. When I was bleary-eyed and beyond exhaustion, she helped me to understand and better care for my newborn. And she also helped me get much needed rest. Was so grateful for her wisdom and support in those early days!
