I have deep gratitude for Telia and her support during my pregnancy and birth experience. I had had a miscarriage a couple months before becoming pregnany with my daughter, and Telia helped me understand and accept how that loss was affecting my current pregnancy. For my birth experience, Telia was equally superb. I had planned a hospital birth with an epidural, but had not planned on being induced at 41 weeks. As a first time mom being induced, I expected my labor to be very slow but it was quite the opposite. Without Telia there, my birth experience easily could have felt chaotic, scary, and overwhelming. But Telia helped both me and my partner understand what was happening and meet the situation with our best selves. It is because of Telia that I feel very positice and proud of my birth experience.

Telia is the best of the best. She was described to me as "the doula's doula" because of her deep experience in the craft and how other doulas go to her for support and advice. Her deep experience was very important to me because she has spent a significant amount of time working as a doula in a hospital setting, which was something I was looking for given my birth plan.

Telia is an amazing doula and an amazing person. She was there for us at the right moment. She was a doula for the birth of my third child, my youngest son. With my two other children I didn't have a doula and I didn't even really know what a doula was.

When my son was born it was all happening extremely fast and I felt very stressed out! When we got to the hospital I was already very dilated at 8 cm. Telia got there not too long after we did. And this may sound strange, but I felt like she was an angel....when she walked in the room she was so calm. It felt like she was the most calm person in the room.... I feel like she's the one person who really helped me give birth the most. I remember her just being extremely calm in the chaos and she was the main person I really focused on. I will always remember the calmness and love she brought. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is pregnant.

Telia was an amazing doula for both of my births, with one being a home birth. She offered so much comfort and support for not only myself but for all of my family. Will definitely hire for every birth!

I was pregnant with my daughter and going to Legacy Emmanuel I went to a program for women in recovery called project nurture Thalia was always there she was always very kind and supportive she helped guide me and gave me strength she stayed with me while I was being induced and through the birth she brought me scented oils to help me relax gave me tools that I needed to make it through and because it was such a high stressed event my family was very on edge telia help them relax and give them support as well I don't think I would have been able to make it through the birth the way that I did if she hadn't been there she even stayed the night just in case I had the baby early after I had my daughter I even considered wanting to be a doula because of how much she impacted me I had a wonderful experience and even used tools that I use now and my daughter is almost two years old I would suggest to telia to any women who is going threw pregnancy she knows so many tips and tricks and is a all around calm and careing person i am beyond greatful and blessed to shared my first birthing expience with her and when i have another child i will definitely want her there with me again.

Telia was with me throughout my entire pregnancy, went to appointments with me when my partner was unavailable. She also was there with me when I thought my water broke but it didn’t she was very kind. During the birth of my daughter Telia was amazing. She didn’t hesitate to do anything that I asked her. She also was very intuitive when it came to anticipating the needs of my partner and I as far as space was concerned. She was very respectful of family and also is sensitive to my cultural needs. After my daughter was born she called, messaged me and also came over a few times to check on us. The breast-feeding experts from the hospital I went to were very shaming around breast-feeding and if it weren’t for Telia i would have given up for sure. There was one night when I was very exhausted and Telia came over and made dinner for my partner and I. I think my daughter was maybe four months old when she came over one day while I cleaned out all my cupboards and played with the baby. She is an amazing Doula & person.  I paid for her services out of pocket as my insurance did not cover Doula services, and I would happily do it again.

We had the pleasure of Telia assisting with the arrival of our sweet baby girl. My due date was Dec 29th. Telia made sure for the 2 weeks prior to check on me and be on 24hr call ready for when I went into labor. I ended up being induced on new year's eve and she was there during it all. Induction was about 40 hrs for me. Telia came with her bag of goodies(essential oils, scarves to help aid with positioning to help my contractions) Whenever she saw I was uncomfortable she would ask what she could do to help. Water laboring was the best decision and she encouraged me to do so. When I decided to pursue a epidural after arriving at 5cm she was still there every step of the way and even informed my nurse that it was time to call my Dr because I was ready to push. My nurse didn't believe her but when she checked Telia was right! After my delivery she gave me and my fiancée privacy to enjoy our baby. The next day she was the first person to call and check on us to make sure we was OK. She also checked on me multiple times after the birth and was very helpful with ideas on how to breastfeed and add to my milk supply. When I was unexpectedly diagnosed with postpartum high bp Telia made sure to check on me daily also. If you are looking for a doula to assist with your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum Telia is kind,caring and a very supportive advocate for you and your journey. She is the best!

Where to begin. I had a difficult pregnancy and from the beginning Telia helped me with every decision with giving me all the knowledge she had. She comforted me and let me know that everything was going to be okay. I ended up having an emergency c section and she was right there explaining everything that was happening. She helped me express my needs to the hospital staff to receive the best treatment for my child and me. After birth she supported me and gave me tips on nursing and what the benefits are. Still to this day if I have any questions she is there to answer. If I have any more children Telia is definitely going to be apart of that birthing experience also.

Telia telia telia,

          I had no idea what I was doing or what I was even in for..... it was a long journey for me. First time mom, first time completing pregnancy, and a single mother (me that is). I remember asking Telia if she was a doula, she responded yes! I thought at that moment she is going to be my doula even if she said she wouldn't. I asked to set up an appointment and we met at the time and date that we scheduled. I was so terrified because during the pandemic ?? I knew that I couldn't have who I wanted in the delivery room. I called around to see if my doula could be there. She could be there and I was over joyed!!! I called Telia about everything, I still do! No matter the time of day, she would respond to my million questions about random things that have to do with babies, specifically my little one. She made me feel like no question was a stupid question, she helped me understand that she was my advocate in the hospital room. Telia helped me deliver my beautiful baby girl. She stood by me through it all. I know that if I have another child she is who I will call. Thank you so much Telia A. Your a ray of sunlight in my chaos of a world. Miracles and blessings- SeVen

Telia is truly amazing - and I am truly glad that God sent her into my life. My husband and I don't have any friends or family in the area, and Telia was the support system we both really needed during the birth of our first child. She encouraged and supported me to trust my instincts - which ended up saving my life - and empowered me to control my birthing process. If she wasn't by my side, things could've really gone in a worse direction. I would recommend her to any and every one. She shows genuine care and is the advocate that you need to help ensure your wishes are respected and you are supported during the most important time in your life.

Where do I even begin to start... Telia was more than just my doula. She brought me comfort, joy, and information to things I needed to know. She would inform me on many options I could take, and always respected my decisions. She was there with me to hold my hand. She sometimes even seem to go above and beyond. Honestly, I'd consider her almost like another mom, with how much care and comfort radiates off of her. I am personally glad that I had her instead of someone else, because I feel like I was able to get the best experience possible with her. I'm summary, she's amazing.
