Julie is amazing! I would 100% use her again and recommend her to anyone!

We chose Julie for our hospital birth. She was in touch with me throughout my whole pregnancy to guide me and advise me with all my appointments. She met with us multiple times to make my birth plan. She was very helpful and knowledgeable on how to have a natural birth.
During the birth she was really what eased all my anxiety about being in a hospital environment. My husband was so happy to have her there too. She told me what to expect and had me doing all different positions to help with my contractions. And the counter pressure!!! That was soooo helpful!!! She made sure I was drinking water and eating when possible. She also took pictures of the birth, and I will treasure those photos forever. All of the things you can’t think about, she thinks about. She took my placenta home with her and held onto it for me till we were home and able to get it. She also wrote everything down that was happening and then typed it all up and gave it to us! Julie is a very special person, I love her personality, she is fun to be around and will stay awake for DAYS to help you, she truly is an amazing doula ??

Julie is all around wonderful! She is extremely responsible, reliable, loving, and attentive. She provided us with postpartum overnight doula support for our twins. She was always on time ready to take the best care of the boys. She took thorough notes, followed all instructions, and exceeded our expectations. Julie always went above and beyond by making sure the nursery was clean and organized when she left every morning. I knew our boys were in the best hands with her. I recommend Julie to everyone!

As a first time mom, I did not know what to expect for labor and postpartum and decided to have a doula to guide me through the experience. We were matched with Julie and instantly hit it off in our interview. Julie was full of information, had passion for this field and made us comfortable going into the unknown of childbirth. Julie helped with birth planning, making sure she was catching every detail, wish or back up plan. Going into labor I was excited to have her there for support , but wow I was blown away with all she did to help for 34 hours! From the positive you can do this mindset , to working respectfully with the nurses / doctors to having me move, changing positions, keeping me hydrated and to remember my goals when things were tough. We could not have had our birth without her and look forward to using her for the next baby too!

Julie shines even more in postpartum care. Again not knowing what to expect I was thrown for another loop on sleep deprivation and all the little things I would never be able to cross or the list. Having Julie at our house taking care of our little one is a peace of mind I cannot explain allowing me to actually sleep. I am beyond comforted knowing she is there watching and caring and helping to get our baby on a loose schedule / knowing the expectations of the night : sleep, poop, eat and go back to bed is easier said than done, but somehow Julie gets her down in record time! She also takes into account the household while there and will do small tasks to help set our family up for success. We constantly sing her praise to all our family and friends on what an amazing service she provides. I 100% recommend Julie to any family. Not only is Julie outstanding in the doula profession, she is also such a kind and amazing soul that we feel blessed to know gotten to know and help to raise our little one. We love our Doula Julie/ Dulie / Joula !

So incredibly happy I was matched with Julie for my first delivery. She was such a heaven sent & made me feel 100% empowered and safe during my pregnancy and laboring. She also did my placenta encapsulation. My husband and myself feel like she is part of our little family now. She was always available whenever I had a question or a concern. And had my back in whatever decision I made for my birth plan. I never felt judged by her. She is such an amazing human being  and one heck of a doula. Anyone would be blessed to have her as part of their experiece. Much love for Doula Julie!!

Julie was a godsend for our family. I spent the first six months of my pregnancy stressed out because of how small the home birth community is here in Illinois. ( we are from socal) A doula was essential for us because we are a military family and had no family in IL. Because we couldn't have a homebirth  because of insurance and lack of affordable midwives- we ended up in a hospital. This was our last choice option and I knew I needed someone who I felt comfortable with that would help stand up to pushy nurses and doctors. Julie was amazing. She's so bubbly and bright, you always feel like youre hanging out with your best friend. She helped me pick out things about my birth that I really wanted and advocated for me in the hospital. She eased my nerves when we got told we had to be induced, she hung out and gave the best counter pressure to work through my contractions. Her energy was alway calming and warm. You couldn't ask for a better doula!

It took me some time to write a review for Julie since I have so many positive things to say about her. Having her at my birth and for a night postpartum was the best decision I made for my first pregnancy! She is so kind, compassionate, and supportive and truly believes in the people she works with.

She has amazing intuition and energy and knows exactly what a mom needs to have, hear, or feel. My labor was long and intense and Julie was with me every step of the way. She kept me focused on my birth plan and in the end helped me achieve it! On the night we had her postpartum, I was a mess and I didn’t know what I wanted, but Julie knew what to do. She not only took excellent care of my baby and allowed me to sleep, but she also organized our space and even prepared breakfast for me.

She is such a good resource for breastfeeding support too! Really anything birth or postpartum, Julie is there for you.

She encouraged me through all of the ups and downs of my pregnancy and birth and I could not have done it without her support. I owe so much of my successes postpartum to Julie. She really is one of a kind and is EXACTLY the kind of person you need on your team!

We love Doula Julie!  Our relationship began after the birth of our twins.  She began the very week we came home from the hospital.  From moment I met her, Julie was warm, nurturing, and more than helpful in getting me through the nights.  Her goal was to help me get as much sleep as possible.  She would bring each baby to me with diaper changed and ready to feed.  After each feeding, I would send her a text, and she would take each babe and get them settled back to sleep in their cribs.  She would bring me water and snacks, if needed, so I could get back to sleep without leaving my room.  Between feedings, Julie would do anything and everything to help me around the house.  From washing/folding laundry and cleaning the kitchen, to cooking and baking delicious meals and snacks, to putting together various baby-related items, she always went above and beyond to see a need and meet it.  Not only was she super helpful, but Julie was also constantly encouraging me.  She always gave evidence-based and experiential advice on feeding, sleeping, etc.  It was helpful to talk through various baby issues with her when they invariably arose.   Julie worked with us for 6 months, until I felt competent to take care of my littles on my own through the night.  We completely and wholeheartedly recommend Doula Julie to any family welcoming a little one (or two!)  into the world.

Can't say enough good things about Julie! Julie was my birth doula and postpartum doula. She taught us to become parents and answered our many (MANY) questions along the way. She's compassionate and knowledgeable, she gave me confidence I was in good hands. She works harder than anyone you will ever meet. When she did overnights for our family, she would tend to all kinds of household chores when the baby was sleepy - she would do food prep for the next day, laundry, cleaning up. It was such a comfort to wake up to a house that was in order. My baby is 8 months old now and honestly if Julie didn't move away to Wisconsin she would probably still be with us. Very hard to let her go!!!

I hired Julie immediately upon meeting her. She suggested I interview at least 3-4 other doulas to gain knowledge and make sure we are a good fit. I said yeah yeah ok sure thing... within 24 hours of our 1st doula meet we sent the text YOURE HIRED! My husband and I immediately felt like she was part of the family and knew God put her in our life for a reason. There was just no way someone else was going to be as good as a fit as she was so we skipped the whole meet other doulas thing. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the birth world and such an incredible listener. She is so passionate about pre and post natal care that she went above and beyond to make sure I was well nourished, physically and mentally prepared for birth as well as physically and mentally taken care of after birth. She helped me with my birth plan down to every detail, she helped me in labor through every contraction - big or small she was right there with counter pressure, encouraging words, new ways to labor and so on. Julie felt like family after our 1st meet but now I can truly say she will always be family to us and we are so fortunate to have had her by my side for my very first home birth. I never once feared or deviated from my plan because Julie was so confident in me and that meant the absolute most. I cant wait to have more babies with Julie by our side :)

Julie is kind, energetic, knowledgeable, and reliable. When I had questions throughout my pregnancy, she was always so helpful and offered great advice, resources, and support.

When I went into labor, Julie came over and got to work the moment she got to our house. She would provide pressure on my back and hips every single time my contractions came on. My labor lasted over 36 hours! She was literally there every step of the way to provide support. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

She was also so supportive of my husband. My labor was not easy. It was long, painful, and traumatic (for the both of us!) After a while he felt so helpless and she comforted him and helped him stay strong for me. Julie was our rock!

Not only was she a wonderful doula up until the moment our beautiful son was born, she was a wonderful support postpartum. Julie brought us homemade snacks and delicious chicken noodle soup that we still talk about today. She’s an amazing cook

Julie is the best. We highly recommend her as your birth and/or postpartum Doula!

Life with a new born is a little rough.  You lose a lot of sleep.  You start operating off adreneline.  Every couple hours you have to deal with feedings, diaper changes, gas, general consoling.  You have to figure out how certain other things are going to get done.  Especially when you already have a toddler.  It can get overwhelming.

Now multiply that times two.

My wife and I recently had twins.  To say things have been chaotic is an understatement.  We need help.  Lots of it.  And some sleep.

That's where Julie came in.    We hired Julie and she has been a Godsend.  To be able to trust someone with your infants so you can sleep means the world to us.  But beyond that, she has also given us a very meaningful education on what's, "normal" as far as our concerns and struggles.  Clearly, we're not alone.

This is less a testimonial and more of a thank you to God, for blessing us with Julie's presence and aid.  Anyone else who hires Julie should consider themselves lucky to be blessed with someone as warm, caring, educated, understanding and professional as she is.

To see the joy in my wife's eyes during and after Julie's visits is something I will cherish for a very, very long time.

A++, HIGHLY recommended.

The best support you'll find for your childbearing year! My husband and I asked Julie to accompany us during my fifth pregnancy (following two consecutive pregnancy losses) and the birth of our rainbow baby girl. Julie is the most genuinely kind, emboldening, encouraging and there-for-you woman you will ever meet.

When the occasion calls for it, Julie will advocate for you, affirm you, remind you of your strength and validate your goals. She also brings a beautiful confidence and levity to the room that melts worries and inspires ease.

Julie continues to be a support and inspiration to me and I highly recommend her services for all of your pregnancy, birth & postpartum needs.

Having Julie help, our family was the best decision we ever made! We were first-time parents with little to no knowledge of handling a newborn. Because it was Covid times, we had no family around to help us out, but we were so thankful we had Julie.

Julie is knowledgeable and highly professional. Julie was easy to talk to, kind, and welcoming. It didn't take any time before we felt like she was family. It was clear that this was someone who loved doing what she did. Not only is Julie a workhorse, working tirelessly through the entire time with us, but Julie was also proactive and took care of things around the house, our meals (and boy, were they delicious!!), and our mental well-being.

Julie was phenomenal with our baby, and she could quickly calm our little one and get her to sleep. Julie would judiciously keep logs of the feeding and diaper changes which allowed us to relax through the night. Knowing that our baby is in good hands gave us immense relief. Our baby did not have enough wet diapers in the first week postpartum. The doctors were sure we would have to take our little one to the ER if things didn't change within the next day. Julie stepped in, gave us timely advice, and helped us get on an aggressive feeding schedule. Julie made sure that I was well-rested had snacks and water during every feed. Small things like these made all the difference in the world. Julie enabled us to get on a schedule that allowed us to be independent in a very short period. We wished we could have Julie around for longer, but she rightfully emphasized that the point of having a doula was so to equip us to handle this by ourselves. She was indeed our rock!

Julie went above and beyond what was expected of her, and for that, we are so grateful. We have no doubts that she would be a fantastic fit for any family! Thank you, Julie, for everything!

I have been putting off this review for a while because I didn’t want anyone to take Julie away from me :) Now after my hormones subsided a bit and my twins are 4 months old, I realize I couldn't keep her forever (even though I really wish I could). Do I need to say anymore? As I’m writing this, tears are flowing down my face like a waterfall. I don’t know where to start.
Julie has been my rock. She is my savior. When I thought I couldn’t do it anymore… when I had my doubts as a mom, a wife… when I was giving up with breastfeeding… pumping, when I felt low, when I had questions or worries, when I just needed someone to talk to she was there always listening and making me feel better. When my 9 year old needed someone to talk to because he was having a hard time not being an only child anymore… she would still take care of my twins but give him her undivided attention and make him feel important; of which I will forever be grateful for. I will forever be grateful for everything she has done for me.. for being my best friend when I needed it the most. She was beyond amazing with my girls, with my whole entire family. She has so much knowledge, so much love, so much patience… anyone would be lucky to have her in their lives. She makes your house, filled with the stress of having a newborn (or two in my case), feel like a haven.... a home. That gift she gives is truly priceless.

When I first found out I was pregnant I didn't know what to expect. I've never been pregnant before, and in fact believed that I could never get pregnant. When I saw the positive pregnancy test I was both excited and nervous at the same time. A good friend of mine mentioned hiring a doula and referred me to Julie. Let me tell you, I am so grateful to have retained her services. She kept me not only calm throughout my pregnancy, but more importantly informed. She never hesitated to answer any of my questions or concerns, no matter the time of day. She also helped guide me to resources regarding pregnancy that I would have never even thought of. Those resources in turn made me feel more confident about what I wanted throughout my pregnancy, especially when it came to developing a birth plan. When it came time to delivering my little guy I ended up having to be induced. Julie was there for me the entire time and helped guide my husband to help me manage the contractions. When it came time to start pushing there were some issues, to the point where the doctor was considering doing a c-section if I couldn't give a good push. Julie knew that I didn't want that. She helped me build up the strength to give a good push, and because of that I didn't have to have a c-section. Another thing that I'm so appreciative of is that I gave permission as part of my birth plan to have Julie take photos of the birth. Because I was so wiped from the labor and then last minute pain meds, I was completely out of it and didn't remember any of my labor. To go back and see the photos of my labor means so much. I look back and say "I did that" and it puts a smile on my face. If you have any doubts about hiring a doula, let me tell you .. don't have doubts! It's one of the best decisions I made, and if I am fortunate enough to have baby #2 I would definitely hire a doula again. Thank you so very much for everything you did and do Julie!

I hired Julie for my October 2021 labor. Julie is a great doula who helps ease the pains of labor by bringing knowledge, counter pressure, back/feet rubs and delicious food! Not only of Julie a heart doula, she is also a great person. Her personality is so welcoming and kind. She does her best to help inform you and prepare you for labor, birth, and how to take care of a new born. I would recommend Julie to anyone and I would not hesitate to hire her again!

Julie was a fantastic doula for my wife Alicia. She laid out exactly what all of her services would be and pricing. When it came time for the actual delivery she was there the whole time and took pictures of pre and post delivery so the wife can focus on strictly giving birth to our son. What Julie and I did to help the wife labor through the contractions definitely helped her. She even brought her own personal yoga ball to help get our son further down into the birth canal. Her knowledge of positions to help with laboring and methods like the yoga ball or using a peanut ball made it easier on the wife. I can't recommend her enough to anyone considering using a doula nurse and the wife even said she was definitely glad that we hired Julie as our doula. Thanks for everything Julie!

From my first phone call with Julie,  I knew she would be an amazing part of my birth team! Her positive energy is so calming! When she came for a visit before birth, she took charge of everything that needed to be addressed and gave great advice on things I wanted to know about.  She was always available when I had questions and I always felt like I had so much support from her! I can't imagine giving birth without her. The day of my birth, she came over quickly and was very supportive walking me through what positions would help progress labor and help with pain. She is extremely knowledgeable. During active labor, she was applying counter pressure, offering water and being such wonderful emotional support. She is just amazing! It takes a special kind of person to be a doula and she definitely is special with a beautiful heart! She deserves more than 5 stars!

Julie was an essential part of my postpartum recovery process. With this being my 3rd baby I knew I needed an extra pair of hands so that I could recover. She was understanding of our family practicing attachment parenting. I appreciated the way she would come into the house and get right to it. Everytime she was checking to make sure I had water for proper hydration for breastfeeding success. If she saw something that needed to be done she would ask permission and get right to it. Julie and I trouble shooted multiple lactation cookie batches. She is very hygienic and washed her hands frequently between tasks. Julie put up with helping to do dishes when our septic was backed up right after the birth and we couldn't use the drains or dishwasher. She helped to identify the cause of the rash on my rear and had the right answer being a CNA I really trusted her guidance with this. Turns out I am sensitive to the chemicals in the depends and will not wear them next time. She was sweet enough to bring me food and baked goods to help with lactation which was above and beyond to me. I loved having her to talk to. I learned so much about Julie and her family. At this time her daughter was getting married so we compared experiences in relation to her first of 6 children to get married. She was so kind to my other older girls. My eldest would ask when Julie would be back again every day. Julie read books to her in the evening to help with the nighttime routine. It was nice that I would show her how I like something done and she would remember it for the next time so I was not constantly repeating myself. Julie likes to have a list and I would try to make sure to have something ready for her when she came over. I really cannot say enough about all that she did in the 30 hrs that she served me. If you are looking for a rockstar of a postpartum doula look no further. Julie thank you so much for everything and hope to have you again.

I can't recommend Julie Palmisano enough! She is the best of the best when it comes to infant and postpartum care. Julie and I met via skype for an initial meeting to see if we were a good match- I knew right away Julie was the doula for us! She has raised 6 of her own children and has extensive experience with babies and children. Julie is attentive, energetic, hard working, passionate, caring, kind, loving and so much more. Everything you could want in someone who will be helping with your baby. Julie took care of our baby like one of her own. Not only did Julie watch our newborn like a hawk when she was with us, but she went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed to successfully mother (and function in general). Whether it was helping with laundry, preparing meals (shes an AMAZING cook but too humble to admit it), guiding me through baby's bath time, Julie went above and beyond. When our time with Julie came to an end, we didn't want to say goodbye! Julie truly feels like a part of our family and we look forward to keeping in touch and welcoming her back when our family grows. Doula Julie forever has a special place in my heart- do yourself a favor trust in Julie for all your doula needs. She will far exceed any expectations!

I would like to start off by saying that if you're considering Julie as a postpartum care doula, do it. Julie came into our home and from the very first meeting I loved her. Julie is sweet, caring and funny. The very first time my newborn interacted with Julie she was calm and peaceful which was not common for my baby. She came into my home the very first meeting and she helped with dishes and with giving me a break from my newborn. From that moment on I knew we were safe with Julie. Julie cooks the best food in the world. She is very helpful with ANYTHING you want her to do, just let her know and she will get it done. Julie is patient and very understanding, she will help you with breastfeeding troubles as much as she can. The thing that has impacted me the most is that her positivity is infectious. Since she started looking after my daughter, my baby is calmer, easier to handle, and more flexible with being on her own without me having to hold her all the time. There is not enough words in the dictionary to describe just how wonderful Julie is. If I could have her with us forever I absolutely would. Needless to say whenever my next baby comes she will be the first option for doula birth services and doula postpartum care services. I recommend her blindly. Julie will change your life positively.

Having Julie as part of my birth team and as my post partum doula has been an absolute blessing.  I originally met with Julie to discuss post partum support.  I enjoyed our time and conversation very much.  After meeting with Julie my husband and I decided to switch birth doulas and have Julie be a part of the birth as well.  I am so grateful that we made that choice.  Julie was absolutely amazing during labor.  She was hands on when needed and gave us space when requested.  She taught my husband counter-pressure and helped him support me to the best of his ability.

Julie has played a major role in the success we have had in the last 6 weeks as a new family of five.   Adding a new babe to the mix is always difficult.  Julie has helped fill the gap and an amazing pair of extra hands.  Julie has held the baby when I wanted to do the laundry myself, helped with dishes, played with my big kids and made sure I drank enough water.  I am so grateful and blessed for her continues support of our family.

I appreciate the text messages checking in, the meals she's brought by, and the continued love and support she has provided to our family.

Julie is an absolute blessing and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a birth doula OR a post partum doula.   Having consistent care with one doula performing both duties is so nice.

Lochlan's birth was amazing, but coming home was very overwhelming for me. I thought I could just do it all the night that we came home, but I couldn't. The mom guilt hit me hard and I wished I had stayed in the hospital an extra night, but I missed my daughter.  I was encouraged by my birth doula to call Julie. She came over that night and stayed for as long as I needed. Some of my favorite memories with my new baby were those times when Julie was over, helping and just sitting with me while I nursed him. You don't realize how much you need that company and hand, from a fellow mother, until you have it. Julie really helped me ease into the transition of being a new mom again. During her initial visit I cried, laughed, ate and slept while she was over. She made me feel comforted. I really appreciated all of her help during those precious weeks after my baby was born. I felt nourished, supported, and loved. She is an amazing support that will help in whatever way you need. I would and have highly recommended Julie.

I'd like to add how Julie has been such a support in my life, from the random texts she receives from me to the encouraging messages I get back from her. My mom passed away after having my first and I struggled (and still do sometimes) and I am so thankful to have found some strong experienced mommas, like Julie, to call up when I need some words of wisdom.

Julie was at my wedding. I think her passion to serve moms started when my friend Brittany had her baby, Zachary.

She added Brittany to the ‘milky moms’ FB group and offered her assistance to Brittany several times since Julie WAS a single mom at one time and DID also have a C-section as Brittany did.

When Julie and I talked, it was mostly birth related

We talked about the role of Folic Acid while being pregnant

We talked about ADHD and Adderal, and trying to conceive

She talked about OVL kits and how tracking cervical fluid was much better then the kits

She added me to some FB groups for TTC and showed me diagrams of phases our bodies go through while we rotate through our fluids

Dry phase, sticky phase, creamy phase, and the clear phase (fertility magic)

She shared her own infertility journey with me. In August, I told her we were pregnant

She told me about what to expect at the OBGYNE, Flu shots (delicately) and added me to a group called ‘Natural Birth, Chicago suburbs’
Which was all about pregnancy, birth, and newborn care

When I was ready to return back to work, we debriefed about different bus garages. We talked about car seat set up in the school bus, and breastfeeding in the workplace.

By October 2019
I got the job at Barrington transportation. We talked about snowsuits, keeping babies feet warm inside a cold bus, and the balance of work and family

October 18,2019
We talked about co-sleeping and breastfeeding... how breastfeeding is so demanding and bedtime for the little ones

We shared the frustration of being our daughters human pacifiers and sleep cycles

Then COVID hit and everything changed

julie is an amazing caring person!

I have personally known Julie for 14 years and can honestly say I have never met anyone like her; in the most unique and remarkable way, she is cut from a different mold than most. When it comes to knowledge of health and holistic best practices, Julie models an attitude of thoroughness, diligent research, and evidence-based information in everything she has ever imparted to me and every woman I know that has had the blessing and fortune to have come in contact with her. She is a true advocate for women, and for all that are in need of care and support. Her experience in birth and postpartum runs the gamut of just about every scenario, and her strength in knowing how to support women is evident in every conversation and interaction you have with her. I can honestly say I had not truly seen the epitome of hospitality in action until I was on the receiving end of her love and support of my self, my family and my children. When I was post-partum, or me or my children had needs, Julie was the first to show up at my doorstep, bearing goods and gifts, as well as physical, emotional and mental support ( you will not have a sink-full of dishes or an unswept floor with her about!) . Per her character, hospitable is not strong enough a word. She is hard-working, and will go to the ends of the earth for anyone with the sweat of her brow along with an attitude of love and selflessness. She is an amazing listener, able to read people and situations unlike any other. She is keen and often sees a need and meets it before anyone else in the room had ever even noticed it. She is genuine, honest, discerning, loyal, faithful and enduring. She encourages gently and discerningly, without judgement, and always in love and good humor. Any woman would be fortunate to be in her loving care, and would secure for themselves a successful and empowering birth and postpartum experience.

Julie is like a walking book of information all pertaining to holistic remedies and natural birth recommendations. Knowing she has had 6 children in so many different settings and locations; as well as her experience with vaginal, and cesarean birth. The amount of information she has to give is plenty and honest (as she has experienced it all)

My trust in Julie is tremendous and she's always had my best interest in mind.
She's also helped magnitudes to my health. I used to suffer with migraines and was an avid pain medication taker. But her referrals to try iron supplants as well as chiropractic measures, I have completely eradicated them, and on the off days I do get a headache I know to try balms and essential oils, which work way faster than waiting for the medication to kick in and take away the nausea and dizziness that the medication doesn't attack as well.

You won't be making a mistake by having Julie in your circle, she is a wonder to have around.

I will start out with that I am beyond childbearing age.  Don't stop reading! I do have 3 children.  I feel the need with that being said to share my thoughts on the beauty of Julie Palmisano.  My three births were in a hospital with all the standard cast of characters, doctor, nurses, bright lights, loud noises, cold and me laying there scared but excited too.  Fast forward to my meeting Julie and starting my journey to holistic health.  Not only is she a Doula but a force in the HH arena.  I have learned so much from her regarding proper vitamins, self care and whole body nutrition.  I know that if it were in the cards for me to be blessed with another child (excuse me while I stop laughing), I would want Julie by my side coaching me, keeping me warm and doing everything I needed the first three times but didn't recieve. Nurturing and knowledge before, during and after the birth are what you can expect from Julies expertise. It is thru her strength, loving hands and gentle guidance that I believe a woman would love to have her child enter the world and into her arms.

I met Julie over social media when I reached out to her regarding some farm meat. I knew her husband was a hobby butcher and we talked about splitting a pig.

Because of the pandemic, we kept our conversations through social media, but after the pig conversations, our conversations shifted to health and vaccines. Her viewpoint was the same as our families and it was great to see a birth worker who had the same philosophy as ours.

On September 29th I reached out to her again about her Doula practice.

We talked through text about my hired midwife and pending planned home birth. We talked about the history of my past births and what I wanted for this upcoming birth. I absolutely love Julie's energy and knowledge.

I’m excited to be able to utilize Julie in the capacity that her certification allows.

Julie is an amazing and caring doula.  She will listen to your needs and support you in every way.  She is very knowledgeable and I 100% recommend her to anyone seeking the support of a Doula during pregnancy.

Julie is the most caring person I have ever met! She not only goes above and beyond for her family but in the short time I've known her I've seen her go above and beyond for people she's just met. She literally treats EVERYONE like family and you feel like you've known her forever after just meeting her. If you're looking for someone who KNOWS her stuff and you want to be treated like you matter, than look no further because you've found it in Julie!! <3 <3

She is extremely versed on natural supplements and lifestyle and is always willing to listen intently and offer assistance with any struggles you may be experiencing. She always makes you feel heard and cared for. Her dedication to mothers through birth and onward is evident through her commitment to educating women no matter where they are on their journey.
