My husband and I had such a great experience with Shannon as my doula. I was trying for a VBAC after feeling very out of control in my first birth. Shannon gave me so many educational resources that I felt so much more prepared to handle labor and birth than I did the first time around. She was supportive in my goals, and was incredibly valuable in helping me labor at home before it was time for the hospital. I ended up with an epidural and still felt that Shannon was incredibly valuable — helping understand the decisions I had to make, and advocating for what I wanted. My VBAC was ultimately successful! Shannon helped me to feel super empowered, strong, and supported throughout the entire pregnancy, labor, and birth process.

Shannon was such a an important part of my pregnancy and postpartum journey. As this was my first child, I didn't know what to expect and she was always there for me to support me, help make a plan, and help ease my nerves. I ended up having a csection and she was amazing helping us postpartum during my recovery and setting us up for success at home. I love that Shannon is knowledgeable, confident, and will be on your side for what you decide for your birth.

Shannon was our doula for the birth of our first child, providing support for both parents during the months and weeks leading up to delivery and, of course, during delivery. Since we had not gone through childbirth before, no amount of prenatal and postpartum classes or books could prepare us for the actual experience; however, we made it through with Shannon's levelheaded guidance, knowledge, and comforting physical presence. We met with her multiple times to discuss our birth plan and desired intentions, which prepared us for the labor and delivery. Our pregnancy was high risk, so we delivered in a hospital where Shannon worked well with and had the respect of the nurses and staff. Without her presence, I'm confident the birth of our child would not have gone as well as it did. We unequivocally recommend Shannon as a doula.

Shannon was a blessing. Anthony and I didn’t really know as much as we thought about birth, and honestly didn’t really do the research. Shannon informed us the first time we met about options and sent multiple links for us to read. We left that first meet up knowing we’d be crazy to not have her as our Doula! She’s truly amazing.
She always checked in with us and made sure I was doing ok! She even checked in with us while she was out of town and always answered questions we had. Shannon always respond supper fast and we loved that. We felt heard and supported the whole time.
During the contraction stage she messaged us and made sure we where doing well, around 2am when the contractions where getting more hurtful and a lot longer and closer together she came over and did what she could to relieve pain as well as talk me through it. She helped Anthony learn how to help me breathe and comfort me during a painful time.
While I’m labor after my water broke she stayed by my side until our little girl Myla was in my arms. I don’t really have a back bone when it comes certain things, but Shannon made sure the nurses where informing me correctly and that I wasn’t being taken the right of doing my birth plan the way I wanted too. She was truly amazing and I’m positive that my experience wouldn’t have been as good without her there. I would have pushed my daughter out regardless but Shannon made it 10 times easier and we are forever grateful!

Shannon was the best doula we could have imagined! My husband I are certain that we could not have done it without her. Shannon taught my husband how to do hip squeezes, which were the only thing that helped ease my pain. She also switched off with him so he could take brakes and made sure he was eating so he wouldn't be too tired during my labor. She kept me eating and drinking, moving, and breathing during labor, even when I didn't want to lol It was comforting to have someone that knew the process from beginning to end, since this was our first birth. We will always treasure the photos and videos she took as I birthed my son. I show everyone I can! Even if you think you can skip a doula, and your birth partner is an awesome support, a doula is so helpful to everyone at the birth! Trust me, it's so worth it! And the memories she captured are priceless??

Shannon was truly a blessing! Anthony and I weren't really informed well and we didn't do research on labor to be completely honest we didn't think we needed too, but Shannon opened our eyes to so much regarding labor. We had such a great conversation and we even changed our birth plan.
Whenever I had questions before my due date she always answered in a timely manner, she answered all my questions and even gave me links to read. She was there every step of the way. She checked in on us even when she was out of town and at least once a week if not more to see how I was feeling.
Once my contractions started at 10:30 pm 9/8/23 I messaged her and she walked us through every step. At 2am she came over to our apartment and help us work and breath through the contractions, she even went to the hospital right away even tho she couldn't come in until I was admitted. She fought for me when I didn't know what the nurses were talking about, held my hand and pushed me to believe I could get through it even when I thought I'd give up. She took the best pictures for us too! She really was a blessing and we are so glad we got to have her as our doula. We'd recommend her for sure! She's what made the experience so much better besides finally meeting our little girl Myla.

We decided to work with Shannon beacause she is passionate about being advocate for the mothers and she genuinely cares about her clients. She was knowledeable and really really helpful during our labor and birth experiecne. She has shared all her knowledge with us, which made us feel better about labor and birth. She made a whole birthing process breeze, even helped us afterwards and made sure that we were taken care of. We loved working with her.
