Post a testimonial for Cassie Vagianos

I absolutely recommend Cassie with my whole heart. She is fantastic both as a doula and a person, and I am forever grateful to her. I met Cassie two years ago, when I was pregnant with my first. Since then, she has supported me through two pregnancies and deliveries (and also provided lactation support). I had both of my children in the hospital (vaginal births) with an epidural. I can confidently say that without Cassie, the first would have been a C-section. I am forever grateful to her for being there to support me and encourage me when the hospital staff wanted to use a vacuum or forceps (or perform a C-section). Thanks to her, I had a beautiful birth story - twice.
Cassie is a kind, supportive person with a lot of experience. I completely trusted her advice, but she is never pushy. She is very positive and uplifting, and she helped make it so that my husband was equipped to be the primary helper in both of the births. Both of my birth stories are the two most amazing, beautiful experiences of my life - without trauma and with easy recoveries - and I give Cassie so much of the credit for that.
Cassie provided a lot of pre-birth education that helped with pain management during labor. She also educated us on what to expect in delivery, which helped us significantly in avoiding a C-section. Cassie also helped with a variety of methods before delivery and then during delivery. Finally, she provided in-home lactation support after delivery. I can't tell you how thankful I am that we hired Cassie -especially since we did not feel supported by the hospital nurses and staff in our first birth. Hiring her was one of the best decisions that I ever made.
If you are even thinking about hiring Cassie - I absolutely recommend her. She is wonderful.

Having Cassie as my doula was truly one of the greatest blessings during my pregnancy and birth experience. From the moment we began working together, her compassion and unwavering support were evident. She was always there for me, providing reassurance, answering my endless questions, and making me feel genuinely understood.
My labor was particularly challenging; after almost two long days of contractions and navigating my special health condition, the process was far from easy. Yet, Cassie was the calming presence I so desperately needed. She teamed up seamlessly with my healthcare providers, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and trust, even in the most difficult moments. Her ability to foster such a harmonious environment made all the difference, allowing me to focus and experience the incredible journey of bringing my baby into the world.
I can confidently say that I could not have made it through without her. Cassie's guidance, kindness, and expertise gave me the strength and courage I needed during the most intense experience of my life.
Even after my baby was born, Cassie continued to be a vital part of my postpartum journey. She remained readily available to answer any questions I had as a new parent, offering reassurance during those challenging first days with my newborn.
I will always be grateful for Cassie’s dedication and support. She was more than a doula; she was a true partner in this life-changing experience, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone seeking the best possible care during their pregnancy and beyond.

The best decision we made was having Cassie as our doula! She is so knowledgeable, and she made us feel comforted, supported, and respected throughout the whole process. I am not kidding, labor was an extremely positive experience for me and a lot of fun, and this is all thanks to Cassie!! Throughout labor she fully supported both me and my partner, helping us to navigate the different hospital procedures and making sure we always felt safe and in control. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and guides you through prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care, and lactation, and she will fully support whatever kind of birth experience you want. We felt that Cassie truly cared for us, our labor experience, and our baby. She worked so incredibly well with the hospital staff, which was very important to us. It was her knowledge of Spinning Babies that encouraged my labor to progress and allowed me to have the birth experience I wanted, but even when it was looking like things might not go the way we hoped, Cassie treated me with utmost care and emphathy, explaining the situation and what to be prepared for mentally. She empowers you. I never felt scared or alone thanks to her, and my partner is also extremely grateful for the care and support she showed him throughout labor. We have recommended Cassie to all our friends who are currently pregnant, and we very highly recommend her for anyone who is expecting, whether it is your first or fifth baby. Cassie was everything we hoped for in hiring a doula and SO much more, and we are forever grateful to her for what she gave us!!

Cassie was the best person I could have had during this experience. We met a few times before my due date. During those meetings, she was really helpful as she introduced us to the tools, knowledge and answering our 1000 questions about what would happen on the delivery day, which gave us a lot of confidence. My husband and I were expecting our first child and are not from the US so we were new to this in a new country. She went beyond and tailored her service/advice as the end of my pregnancy journey got messy ( I had a breech baby, I was planned for a C section then got induced, lots of changes in a matter of weeks)
Then I got induced, my labor lasted 48hours, she was not able to be physically with us from the beginning of my labor but she was such good help, emotional support as well and I was relieved to see her enter the delivery room. During labor we used all the tools and techniques we talked about so we knew exactly where we were heading. Delivery was tough but her support made it easier for both my husband and I.
During post partum, Cassie met us few time as well and gave us great advice again and support as we were discovering a whole new life with our newborn (and with my post partum body).
I cannot imagine how we would have managed this journey without Cassie, she was a really great fit for us.

Cassie was absolutely amazing!!! Being pregnant during the pandemic had its own set of hightened anxiety, but actually having a baby during it?!
Cassie was readily available whenever I needed her virtually. We did multiple child birth classes and was so thorough with explaining everything to me.
When I was induced due to high blood pressure she reassured me everything was ok and helped me attmept to stick to my birth plan as much as possible. Life had other plans and ended up needing a c section due to a ruptured placenta but Cassie was with me the whole way, so I felt comforted.
She even stuck with me thru all my postpartum issues ( my sons father passed away when I was 7 -1/2 months pregnant). She monitored my emotions with compassion and empathy while just having a simple conversation and to hear "are you really ok today?", really does make all the difference. On top of that she helped me with some lactation issues I was having starting off. Needless to say, Cassie was a life saver and couldn't have done this without her!
