The labor and delivery of my second born will always be one of the most rewarding and empowering experiences of my life, and a huge part of that is thanks to Bree’s support as our doula. Compared to a rather fear-filled first labor, Bree provided constant support and guidance that made me feel fully capable of achieving the water birth I had hoped for. Bree has a remarkable ability to meet you where you’re at - from sharing laughs and easing tension when needed, to intentional coaching, or a calming affirmation. She truly put us at ease in an effortless way, and I think that (along with her wealth of knowledge and experience) is what makes her such a highly regarded doula. I went from thinking “oh I don’t think I would really need a doula” to not being able to picture giving birth without one. Bree is well worth the cost of her services and then some! It’s an investment I’ll never regret.

Bree was our doula for our first baby!  I can not say enough good things about Bree. My labor was not easy for me and did not go as planned in any way expect that I did delivery a healthy baby boy. I have no idea how I would have made it through my labor without her by my side. Bree made my husband and I feel confident in every decision we had to make because she thoroughly explained everything to me and always told me the options I had. She knew almost every staff member at the hospital and she is just a wealth of knowledge. She was so present. It truly felt like we became family that night. I know some might be on the fence about the price but, to me, what she does is invaluable and there is no way in hell I would ever go through labor without her. You will not regret it!

I can’t recommend the PNW birth collective enough! Bree, Austin, and Sarah are invaluable resources for navigating pregnancy, birth, and post partum and are true advocates along the journey. I ended up having a scheduled c section due to my baby being breech and they helped me through this turn of events with compassion and wisdom. Bree was my doula on my baby’s birthday and brought warmth, knowledge, and expert guidance to the big day. She made me feel safe and cared for during a scary time and also brought a lot of support to my husband in the OR. She also calmly explained everything that was happening to me and my choices surrounding each decision. I truly believe that a large part of the reason why I have had such a successful recovery and positive outlook in the depths of post partum is because of the loving care and compassion I received from Bree and the entire group during pregnancy, birth, and in the weeks following my daughter’s birth. If you are on the fence, please make this investment in your health and wellbeing—you won’t regret it! PS do the placenta encapsulation! ??

From the moment we hired The Birth Collective, we knew that we had three amazing women in our corner to help us navigate our first birth experience!

Bree provided an amazing amount of support ahead of the birth, particularly as we grieved a recent pregnancy loss, offering emotional support and resources to help us process our loss while also connecting with the baby in our current pregnancy.

On the big day, Bree came in with a calm head and poise that immediately set us both at ease. Her knowledge in labor coping, counterpressure and positioning is what I attribute my fairly quick induction to. Our birth looked so different from what we expected, and she provided space for us to process these changes while also feeling empowered in our decisions. She commanded the room and held our nurses accountable when they started interventions without my consent. I truly can't put into words what it means to have a doula at your birth when you already feel so overwhelmed and out of control - it feels like there's finally someone who has your best interests in mind, who is incredibly knowledgeable, has your back, and will do anything to make sure everyone in the room respects what you want your birth to look like. Bree knew exactly what to say to help me get through my labor when the exhaustion was getting to me. She was also so much help for my husband, guiding him in providing counterpressure as well as making sure he was doing okay throughout the labor. When it was finally time for our daughter to make her entrance, Bree took the most amazing pictures that we will cherish forever!!

I can't stress enough how much it has meant to have this amazing, powerful, badass woman on our side throughout our pregnancy and in postpartum. The consistant presence and support, even after our daughter was born, has made such a huge difference in our lives. Bree is truly gifted in what she does and I feel incredibly lucky to have her as our doula!!

Bree has supported me through two pregnancies and births now and I would never want to do it without her. She went above and beyond to make herself and her knowledge available to me. I was having early labor contractions that wouldn't increase in intensity for two days so, she came over on a Friday night to work on some baby positioning with me. Like magic, 30 minutes after she left to let me get some sleep, my water broke and labor kicked in! She came right back over and was by my side the entire time after that, giving me all the confidence in the world to birth my baby. Bree was always one step ahead of all of my needs; I couldn't imagine not having her on my team. She even made me a placenta smoothie immediately postpartum so that I could enjoy the benefits of that, as well as, a keepsake placenta print, placenta tincture and she processed it to put it in my freezer for smoothies later postpartum. Bree was made for this job and I'm so grateful to be one of the families that she has blessed with her support!

Being newly postpartum I don't have time to give Bree the essay long raving review she deserves. But let me say this- my birth would not have been the same without her. She is caring, brave, supportive, and endlessly compassionate. She stayed by my side through a marathon birth that could have ended poorly and instead I felt completely empowered and bad***. 10000000/10 most amazing doula I could have ever asked for. Bree is truly the greatest- and I will feel indebted to her until the end of time. I only hope she's around for baby #2 ??

Bree was my doula when my youngest child was born at home, in March 2019.
This delivery was a first for my husband and I, after our first child together was born in hospital in 2016.
My husband and I met with Bree prior to delivery, and set our birth plan, figuring out all the things!
I went into labor around 9 in the morning, and when Bree and my midwife arrived (separately), Bree helped my husband with EVERYTHING, from inflating and filling the birth pool, to making sure he ate food while I was in labor. I was recovering from bronchitis during labor, so Bree was well-equipped with essential oils and other things to help with congestion, not to mention all the different pain management techniques that she was able to use!
This delivery was a completely different experience than my previous, and if I were able to have more babies, Bree would be at the top of my list for doulas!

I have had Bree attend two of my births now.  I found her when expecting my second child who had a life limiting diagnosis.  Bree was beyond amazing she held space for us, she was the perfect balance of in the background and hands on that it left us feeling strongly supported but with no intrusion in such a tender time of meeting and saying goodbye to our daughter.  She captured her birth beautifully... Bree's presence for our Luna's birth is something I cherish as if she was a lifelong friend versus someone I met on Skype once before. Then with our rainbow Bree was also in attendance.  She was so supportive answering questions via text when I was losing my mucus plug and having prodromal labor ect.  When it was go time she flew out of her house and met me in triage.  She was quick to get me out of triage because my nurses didn't realize how I labor and Bree did. She is so intune with the situation... calm and steady. She really does a great job of explaining options and helping center you.  ALWAYS empowering you to decide!  She is a hype woman which is everything when you hit a moment of doubt in the middle of labor or while pushing.  She knows her stuff and she has your back.... and your front... and sides.... and your partners back too!  In short she has everyone covered!  I can confidently (110%) say you will not regret having her at your birth!  My only regret was not knowing to have her at my first birth as it would have saved me four hours of pushing and pelvic floor therapy after... no joke!  Also she gives an amazing tour of the placenta (don't opt out of that it's fascinating and each baby's is unique)!  She is the reason I am now obsessed with the role of a doula.  I also follow her on Instagram and am a total fan girl now.... why? Because she does amazing work.... and she is amazing!  Side perk she is also super funny!

The support that Bree provides as a doula is so much more than just in person during labor. Her support during my pregnancy was so beneficial. Without Bree suggesting I try the brewers diet at 37 weeks when I was measuring at 34, I don't know if my baby would have made it to 6lbs when I had him at 38 weeks. I experienced a precipitous birth that turned our planned birth center birth into an accidental freebirth homebirth. My husband was on the phone with Bree as she sped over to our house while I delivered the baby. She was at our house before my midwives showed up. She not only checked in on how I was doing, but also on how my husband was doing to make sure that both of us were okay. Bree made sure I had something to eat and rehydrate. All the while she was taking photos to capture our story. My son had a tongue and lip tie that made it difficult for him to latch. Bree was able to recomend providers who could help us on our feeding journey such as an IBCLC, and doctor to revise the ties. She sent resources of alternative methods on how to feed my son my milk until we could get his revision. It is because of her support in this area that we are successfully able to breastfeed today. Bree wanted to make sure that if my birth was traumatic for me that we were able to discuss  it. She also provided information on multiple postpartum mood disorders, and how they can also affect men. This opened up an opportunity for my husband and I to be honest with each other about how we are both feeling since our son's birth. This brings me to my birth photos. I love my "after" birth photos so much. They perfectly tell our story of how I had my baby unassisted on my bathroom floor. I originally didn't even think that I wanted them. They were worth the wait. Although I would have been happy having any of the doulas from TBC with me, Bree was the perfect doula for me (and my husband's in shock profanity over the phone).

I knew from the second I got pregnant that we wanted the support of a doula for our birth. I had a few friends mention The Birth Collective and after our first zoom, I knew they were the perfect match. Of course baby comes on their own schedule, so you don’t know which doula you’re going to get, but all of them are fabulous in their own doula way! I really felt that whoever was the one who came to our birth was meant to be & I would’ve been happy to have any of them there! Now looking back, I feel that even more. Each of these women served such an important role throughout my pregnancy. Sarah & Bree led us through our prenatal visit. We felt a little pigeonholed by our providers at one point, and Bree & Sarah immediately jumped on a zoom call with us to let us know we had more options to choose from. Austin was on maternity leave through the end of my pregnancy, but she kept us smiling with funny reels & pictures of her adorable baby on instagram!

At 39+2 my anticipated home birth became a hospital induction. Bree met us at the hospital before we were even admitted. She sat with us through some tough conversations with an OB who was not supportive of my birth plan and had some pretty outdated information regarding birth - yikes! Bree was the perfect person to help support us and help us advocate for ourselves. We ended up switching OBs so that we could have our baby in a safe, supportive environment. Although labor was a blur - a very long 22 hour blur - my husband and I could not be more grateful for Bree. I truly believe we would not have had the birth we did without her. I will never be able to thank her enough. Oh & this was all on her birthday!!

Any birthing person would be lucky to have any of these women as a part of their birth team. They will support you, advocate for you, and more importantly, give you the space & teach you to advocate for yourself.

I don't know how I would have gotten through my baby's birth without Bree! When I was in labor the night before my son was born, she came over to our house even though I didn't feel like I needed extra support quite yet to let us borrow a TENS unit and teach my husband some counterpressure techniques. Things got a lot more intense from about 11pm until we decided to go to the hospital at 2am and she was in constant communication with my husband via text. Bree arrived to the hospital before we even did. My labor was long and didn't go as I envisioned. But she was there every step of the way with something new to try, amazing counterpressure, an encouraging word, or even a hand to hold. She gave my husband ideas of things he could do to support me during this time and he loved having her there as well. Bree was such a calm and comforting presence in a situation where I felt anything but calm; she was gentle and kind but also did not sugarcoat anything, which I appreciate. I can't speak highly enough of her - I trust her completely and would have her at my birth again in a hearbeat!

We cannot even begin to express our feelings about Bree and the gift it was to have her as part of our birth story. When you think of a wonerful doula experience, you are envisioning Bree. She was with us every step of the way, from our first meetings to the delivery room. She brought a sense of calm, order, and logic to what would have been one of the most anxiety filled days of our lives. She helped us choose good health care providers who would meet our needs and made connections with phenomenal providers for us at all stages of the process. Bree's presence throughout labor was a soothing balm - she had a bag of tricks and magical tools to help make everything move forward a bit more comfortably. And when things were rough, she was right there...a strong, clear, and reliable voice. Her presence in those tough moments carried us through and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way than with our amazing doula by our side. You simply cannot go wrong with Bree. Anyone would be lucky to have her in their birth story.

Bree was a big contributer to my birthing experience. Her level of warmth and calmness made me feel taken care. And she added so much support to my family during the process. After baby was born, she offered to drive and bring us back food which was extremely helpful because it allowed my husband to bond with baby so he didn't have to leave. I can't wait to cross paths with Bree again in the future.

Bree is a compassionale, kind, knowledgable, outstanding doula. I am so thankful she was able to provide me with excellent support during my pregnancy and delivery. Not only did she take amazing birth photos during the delivery, she was right there when I needed her. Her support over text was also excellent and really demonstrated her incredibly comprehensive knowledge of all things labor and delivery. She knew the right positions to recommend and had the resources I needed to understand what and how to do them while I was in labor at home. I would hire Bree again and can't recommend the entire team at The Birth Collective PNW enough.

I feel so lucky to have had the support of the Birth Collective, and Bree for my second birth! I had a significant amount of anxiety during my pregnancy (Advanced maternal age and previous dramatic and traumatic premature birth).  Sarah, Austin, and Bree provided me with lots of information non-judgmental listening, and support which eased my anxiety. My second birth was a scheduled induction, and I wanted to give birth without pain medication. Bree talked me through what to expect with different induction scenarios and advice on how to get more comfortable in the last few months of pregnancy.

Bree showed up at the hospital while I was in labor with her “spa bag” filled with a ten’s unit, hot stones, a fan, and other magic to help ease my labor.  Labor was hard and fast, and Bree was my cheerleader and coach! I am so thankful to have a happy healthy baby girl and that I was able to labor through and not need pain medication. Thank you for giving me the gift of an empowering birth experience. I wish all mamas were able to have a doula like Bree by their side!

Bree was our doula and she was absolutely amazing. I was so glad to have her to talk with on the day I went into labor. I’m positive that having her so readily available to chat with about how I was feeling and my contractions was the reason I made it to the birthing center in time! She was a calm, encouraging presence during labor. Her attentiveness to all the details and her compassion and kindness were invaluable before, during and after. I felt so cared for, and having her there allowed my husband to focus on baby and I that much more. 100% would want Bree there if I were to have any more babies!

Having the TBC and specifically Bree, for my VBAC birth on 1/22/22 was the greatest gift I could have given my husband and myself for our 2nd child’s birth.
Leading up to this birth the TBC talked me through all of my intense emotions and helped me feel confident in decisions I was making regarding my birth plan. They were all so incredibly easy to talk to and felt like friends right away. The amount of time and care they put into their clients is incredible.
Bree walked in the door of this birth and an immediate sense of relief washed over me. My husband is very supportive but had no idea what he was doing and Bree was able to be my rock and also guide my husband when necessary. She had all the tools and tricks in her bag to help me! Medical staff is trained to take care of you in a physical sense, they have to make sure you’re ok and usually can’t be as much of an emotional support. Bree was able to explain things to me that I missed and also made me feel like I had someone on my team so I wasn’t fighting for this VBAC alone. I had never thought about a doula previously and im so sad for myself not having them at my first birth, but also so incredibly thankful to have had all their knowledge and support this time. When things got slightly scary at the end of my birth, Bree kept me calm and knew I needed things to be explained to me and she spoke up for me when I was too scared to. With Bree by my side I was able to have so much healing from my first birth. The team gave me so many incredible tips to have a successful VBAC and I think they genuinely wanted me to have the birth I wanted almost as much as I wanted it myself. I’m so so excited to see the photos from my delivery, something I’m also sad I didn’t have the first time! They are worth every penny! I recommend them to every pregnant friend of mine and I can’t wait to work with them again! I already miss Bree’s contagious laugh!

Bree was amazing and the main reason I do not consider my birth story to be traumatic, when all other factors would point to it being so.  Unfortunately my planned epidural failed.  Bree was able to help manage the unexpected pain, nausea, and tears that came with the failed epidural.

I was also faced with a nurse whose style I did not care for.  Bree was a wonderful guiding light when I mentioned to her I did not care for the nurse that had been assigned to me.  She explained how we could swap nurses and was an advocate for me at the hospital when I was no longer able due to pain.

I felt the love and warmth from her during the whole process and I cannot imagine what my birth would have been like without her.  She truly saved my sanity during the whole birth.  Thank you, Bree!

Looking back, my partner and I are so thankful we decided to go with TBC. We had done our fair share researching and acquiring books about birth since this was our first baby, but all of that was thrown out the window once contractions started happening. Being able to be in constant communication with Bree throughout the night was comforting and reassuring. She arrived the next morning with so much positive energy and knowledge to give that I was flooded with hands on tasks of what I needed to do to support my partner. Her toolbox of remedies and tricks were beyond helpful. Whether it was just telling my partner to hydrate every other contraction, teaching/applying counter pressures, or even giving my partner and I affirmations/encouragement. We felt empowered and supported throughout our time at the hospital all the way up to when our beautiful baby was born. Bree's energy helped push me to keep being there for my partner during the long difficult contractions. She took a huge load of stress off my shoulders when I needed a break. We could not stop getting compliments from hospital staff of how great of a team we were. This birthing experience was the hardest, most beautiful thing we have ever done and I can't express how thankful and blessed we are to share this amazing journey. On top of all that support, Bree took stunning photos that we can't help but tear up when reminiscing.

P.S. Our dog loves Bree

My partner and I interviewed a couple different doulas in the area, and the thing that really stood out to us about TBC was their evidence based knowledge, the partnership between the three doulas, and the support we would receive throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I was a FTM and wanted an unmedicated hospital birth. Regardless of what kind of birth I wanted, I know TBC would have supported, informed, and empowered me! I did a lot of my own homework to prepare for an unmedicated birth, however they provided emotional, and physical support we didn’t even know we needed! So much of the research I did on labor and birth also disappeared from my brain as soon as the contractions started so it was great to have Bree there to tell us what’s going to happen next, what different types of birthing positions to try, and the pros and cons of what options we had. All this and more eased my anxiety around birth. Once we were at the hospital, Bree was an amazing advocate for us with the staff. I cannot imagine our birth story without Bree and TBC! Since bringing our baby home, I've also reached out to TBC with questions. This has been helpful since this is our first baby, we don’t know what’s normal or not regarding the baby, postpartum care, or breastfeeding. We will also cherish the photos we received during our labor and birth! Everything happened so quickly, so it’s great that we have photos to look back on to truly remember how we brought our baby into this world!

Where do I even begin! From the beginning of this pregnancy, literally 5 weeks pregnant, I knew I wanted a doula! After the unexpected last minute transfer with my second baby I knew there was a possibility of that happening again and I couldn't even think of not having any kind of birth support there with me! Bree, and the birth collective as a whole, were always there when I had any questions along the way! Approaching 40 weeks it was looking like an induction was coming my way once again! Bree was there to share space with me and listen to my fears and excitement since I knew baby was coming that night! We made a plan with my midwife and off to the races it was! Bree was at my midwives place before even I was, now that's service! Once we broke my water doula Bree was there not only for me but for my husband as well. Helping him cope and understand what could/would help me and physically showing him what to do. From the TENS unit, counter pressure, words of affirmation, grounding touches, and nausea help she was there every step of the way! Doula Bree helped to make sure I never once felt scared or anxious during my birth and neither did my husband who is the ultimate worry wart! If you are thinking of hiring a doula, look no further, I would recommend Doula Bree to any birthing person I know!

Bree is the best! I met Bree through The Birth Collective and from the very beginning both my husband and I felt super comfortable with her and could tell how passionate she was about birth work. She's also just a delightful person. She kept in great contact throughout my whole pregnancy and when it was delivery time she was there for us 110%. She was an excellent coach and friend through the entire process, and always had things to try and great insights to offer. She also had this Mary Poppin-like bag, that magically produced things that I needed just at the right time during my labor. And again, she made us feel so comfortable with her, it was so natural to have her with us. Bree is an amazing doula, we could not have done it without her!

I am so happy that I made the decision to hire The Birth Collective to help support me during my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. They were able to address all of my questions fast as well as provide suggestions when needed. I felt comfortable knowing that I had someone with so much birth experience by my side. I also had piece of mind that one of the three would be at my birth since they rotate. I had the pleasure to be supported by Doula Bree. Bree has such a warm loving personality and a fantastic sense of humor. She makes you feel immediately comfortable in her presence. My labor had complications and ended up being the complete opposite of what I had desired and been planning for. Bree was so helpful helping my husband and I fill in the gaps of what happened as well as explain things that the hospital didn’t really have time to do. She has provided so much support as well as additional resources that I needed postpartum. I truly don’t think I would be as well as I am today without her care. Bree definitely took the extra step to assure I felt supported in a time of need. I would hands down recommend the collective to anyone and will use them again if I decide to have another child.

All birth deserves to be supported and that’s exactly how Bree treats you. I went into my pregnancy with a lot of leftover fear and trauma from a miscarriage directly before it, and with that, came some uneasiness about labor and birth that I’ve never experienced before. Bree has such a calming presence, she justified my feelings, offered support, and a listening ear. She completely eased my mind. Going in to my birth day, I was confident having her there, and wouldn’t have even known I  previously had fears. She made sure I got everything I wanted from how I wanted my labor and birth to go, to certain photos I wanted to make sure were captured. Having Bree there felt like I had a best friend at my birth that I’ve known my entire life. She worked like the absolute dream team with my midwife and made our birth so cohesive. Our birth would not have been possible, or the same without her; she has forever impacted our lives. She goes above and beyond everything she does, and always supersedes my expectations. Even with her busy schedule, she has made it clear that she's here whenever I need her to offer advice, or just listen throughout the roller coaster that can be the postpartum period, which is a huge deal for emotional health. Hiring Bree as your birth doula will be one of the greatest things you ever do for yourself and your baby!

Bree was amazing from beginning to end for my second home birth. She immediately felt like a best friend and took the time to hear every single detail about my first labor experience and my fears and hopes for my second. She confidently had suggestions immediately on things we could do different. She was there at the start of my labor coaching me during those early hours over text and was ready to come to my home whenever I wanted her to. She helped me through my second labor both physically and mentally and stood beside me in my decisions. My second labor and birth was such a better experience with Bree on our team. She followed up postpartum to make sure I was recovering well and to make sure I was supported if I had other needs. Can't say enough good things about her!

I can’t say enough good things and can’t imagine our birth story without Bree! As first time parents we knew we wanted birth support. From the initial meeting she was so warm and sweet that I immediately reached back out to book her. Plus I really loved all the services she could provide.

Bree was always available for questions leading up to our due date and provided a mini birth class at our home. Always felt like she cared and truly wanted to educate us. I felt so supported as my labor began and absolutely loved having her guide us through the process when I birthed at home and later at the hospital. She was our advocate, informed us about all our options and helped coach my husband - but made him feel included which was so important for us! We were also lucky to get birth photos added. I will cherish these forever!!

After birth she checked on me often, answered all my questions and did an additional visit to our home. We had our newborn photos completed, plus placenta encapsulation and sitz bath herbs. The experience was really everything I could have wanted and more! She made us fee comfortable and we enjoyed getting to know her as well.

Hubby says you’re a birth gangsta. We love you and looking forward to using you again!!

Bree took the time to get to know me and my family before my birth. She made sure that I was thoroughly educated about all the possible things that could present during birth. My birth was long and she stood by me for a whole 24 hrs supporting me AND making sure my husband was taken care of and processing everything alright. She took amazing photos of everything as well. Her support continued postpartum checking on me regularly. She was a huge reason I had a successful VBAC. I can not recommend her enough!

Bree is absolutely amazing. Not only does she really know her stuff, but she is one of those people who you instantly want to be friends with. Her energy is so positive and laid back and she is truly a joy to be around. There was never a visit void of a few good laughs! Her wealth of knowledge and experience is so evident in everything she does. You will feel such a peace knowing you've hired someone you can trust to be able to go to with questions and to be able to handle whatever may arise during birth! I'm a doula myself and I still ended up going to her for so many questions and reassurance! We hired Bree primarily as our photographer and what she was able to capture was simply incredible. Every shot felt ‘magazine worthy’ and completely took our breaths away. She really captured our story perfectly and looking back through our photos feels like reliving that amazing day. It’s remarkable to look at these perfectly framed and composed shots, and to realize that these were mere seconds. How she is able to capture moments so quickly and so beautifully just goes to show just how good she is at what she does. I cannot recommend her enough!!! Whether you hire her as your photographer, videographer, or birth doula you will not be so very glad you did. She is an all around wonderful person who will make your experience even that much greater. ??

I don't know what I would have done without Bree! Bree made sure we had a plan going into my hospital birth and we stuck to it. Since it was my first pregnancy I had no clue what to expect, but Bree did! She kept me on track with our pregnancy plan the entire way and coached my husband on how best to support me during our longggggg labor.
I can honestly say that because if Bree's expertise, we tried everything in attempt to get my baby out vaginally. Given my baby was sunny side up and over 9 pounds (and head size was 99 percentile!), I was unable to push her out so the birth resulted in a c section. I was scared to say the least, but Bree was there for that too letting me know that it was going to be okay.
Bree also took pictures and video of the whole thing! Which is great because in hind sight I feel like I hardly remember it. Because of the (gracefully conservative) film, I can look back at how hard I tried during the labor and rejoice as I see the first look at our precious, perfect baby girl!
Thank you Bree for all that you did for our family ensuring the end result was a healthy, happy family!

We were lucky enough to have Bree with us for our last two births. Bree is the full package!! She is extremely knowledgeable on pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum, she takes breath taking pictures/videos, her presence is calming, reassuring, and fun and she is an advocate for moms needs and wants. She is happy to take on any role that she is needed in while at birth and I can't imagine labor and delivery without her. On one of the most important days of your life, you need someone like Bree to support, encourage, and document!

I contacted Bree really late in my second pregnancy and am so glad i did. I was really hesitant about hiring a doula, worrying if it would take away from my husband’s experience and if it was really necessary to have one since I didn’t have one at my first child’s birth. 1) she did not replace my husband as the main supporter, only added extra help and support which freed up my husband to never have to leave my side. 2) having bree to confide in was so beneficial to the experience both during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My only question is why are Doulas so underrated?! I really do believe that Doulas are the unsung heroes of  a birthing team.

Bree is like a power bank of energy, joy, love, compassion, understanding and cheer & having someone like her in the room was everything I ever needed. I specifically remember one contraction where Bree tended to my unspoken needs that only she knew, filling me with calmness and love ?? I am so grateful for Bree’s presence and only wish I would of found her sooner!

Bree was fantastic! She was such a joy to have around and helped put my mind at ease throughout my pregnancy and birth. My husband was so thankful for her direction and support. He felt empowered to give me what I needed. This child birth experience was so much more enjoyable than my first thanks to Bree. I am so thankful for her!

Bree was amazing!! She came to our home an spent so much time educating us and helping get our little one in position for birth. While our birth didn't go quite as planned Bree was there to help guide and make sure I was as comfortable as I could be. She was so helpful and supportive in every way. I will forever cherish the pictures she took of our son being born. I would absouletly hire Bree again with my next child.

I hired Bree to be my birth videographer and paid the extra fee to have her also be my doula (if I needed it). HA. Boy did I need her. My birth ended up being a marathon birth of 48 hours, 32 of those she was right by my side. She was patient and encouraging and the tough love that I needed at just the right times. She helped my husband to care for me the best way he could and she picked up any slack that was left. Bree can hold space like no other. She seems to know when to step in and when to give room. She never once made me feel like I was taking too long or wasting her time. When I eventually ended up transferring to the hospital, she walked me through what might happen and cheered me on to use my voice and fight for my rights. She physically and mentally held me up in the hardest moments and did it all with a camera in her hand. Trust me, she will be a benefit to any birth space.

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Bree is during labor and even before. For weeks leading up to labor she checked in, comforted and advised me on any questions and concerns I had. When it was finally time for baby she made sure she was available despite her husband recently being injured and dealing with her own children. She helped me stay calm and focused for all 26 hours of labor and used many techniques and ideas to help get baby out, we would hire her 100x over and for our next little baby too. If you can by any means hire Bree to be your doula or photographer I definitely suggest her. We love Bree!!!
