Kim was an incredible doula who played an essential role in our labor and delivery journey. Her presence and guidance made a tangible difference as my wife went through the challenges of childbirth. Kim's ability to keep my wife focused and emotionally supported both at home and in the hospital was truly remarkable. She was not just a coach, but also a strong advocate who worked seamlessly with the medical staff, ensuring my wife's wishes were respected throughout the process.

Her partnership with our midwife was a key factor in the overall success of the experience. Kim's expertise and ability to collaborate contributed to a delivery that surpassed our expectations. What stood out most was how she empowered my wife, addressing all her questions and concerns, allowing her to concentrate on the delivery itself.

I highly recommend Kim to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate doula. Her sincere care, skillful support, and ability to create a harmonious birthing environment make her an exceptional asset. Thank you, Kim, for being an integral part of a memorable and positive labor and delivery journey.

Kimberly was absolutely amazing to work with before, during, and after giving birth! I honestly don't think I could have made it through without her!

During pregnancy, Kimberly helped put my and my husband's minds at ease. As a first time mom, I knew enough to have many worries, but knew little enough to have tons of questions! She never made me feel like a question was dumb, and she supported us through a birth and postpartem plan, respecting our wishes and offering advice that fit within our ideals. During the birth, she came up with ways to avoid all interventions to have a medication-free delivery.

Kim is an advocate, yet does not overstep.  I truly think she puts the welfare of the mom and baby at the foreground of all her work. HIGHLY recommend!

I'm writing this review on my son's first birthday--and I can honestly say that Kim was one of the most important parts of my birth experience. After experiencing emotional birth trauma with my first child, it was important to me to find a doula who would validate my experience and my feelings, would help me advocate for myself in the birthing room, and who would help me make informed decisions for care. Kim did all of those things and more. She gently and compassionately cared for my feelings, especially when she patiently reminded me of my goals and walked me through my options when I was considering an epidural during labor (I got one). Thank you, Kim, for making my son's birth such a reparative and beautiful experience for me; I'll never forget it.

The decision to hire a doula came late in the pregnancy for me but it was the best decision I ever made. I was very uneducated during my first pregnancy with my daughter which resulted in being induced and then a cascade of interventions which ultimately led to a traumatic csection. This time around I was determined to have a successful vbac and knew I would need to advocate better for myself. After much research I decided that hiring a doula was the right decision for me. My husband is a wonderful support person but not at all educated in labor and delivery and I knew I needed someone who could help coach me and keep me focused on my goal. I had reached out to a couple doulas in the area but when we met with Kim I felt like we immediately clicked. She was very friendly and very knowledgable. I felt very comfortable around her and knew right away that I wanted to hire her. Because I met with her so late in the pregnancy, we only met a handful of times before I went into labor but each time she would give me tips and advice on how to better prepare for the birth. When I eventually went into labor she was very responsive and when I got to the point where I felt like I needed her, she was there immediately. With Kim's help I was able to make my goal of no pain medication until I was almost fully dilated. With her help I was able to stay focused and motivated. She made frequent suggestions for position changes or items to use to help progress my labor and help keep me comfortable. In the end, I pushed for over 6 hours and I credit Kim for helping me get through the moments where I felt discouraged and ready to give up. I successfully gave birth vaginally and my experience this time around was so healing. I would 100 percent recommend Kim's services to anyone.

Kim provided unwavering support and shared her expansive knowledge to educate and inform my husband and I throughout the prenatal, birthing and postpartum process. Her presence during the birthing process helped me achieve my goal of an unmedicated birth. She provided physical and emotional support to both my husband and me.  I would recommend Kim and her doula service to all seeking the additional support of a doula during their pregnancy.

As a first time mom, the best decision we made was to hire a doula. And we were absolutely blessed to have found Kim.
She helped to inform our decisions, both big and small, providing unbiased evidence-based information while in no way influencing even the most polarizing choices we'd have to make as new parents.  Her responsiveness to mom during pregnancy was incredibly helpful, as we encountered change with each passing trimester.  She'd offer tips and solutions for the discomforts and encouragement along the way.   When it came to the big day, her calming energy, guidance, and advocacy were invaluable.  She was in touch with us throughout early labor, and came to our home during active labor fully prepared with a multitude of aids - from aromatherapies to pillows.  She guided us throughout, helping us to know when it was time to go to the birthing center.
We chose an out-of-hospital birth, and Kim worked seamlessly with our team of midwives. She was as involved as we'd discussed prior to the big day, helping with her own measures while also assisting my husband in ways he could be present and helpful.
There is no question that we would have Kim present for our next birth, if we're fortunate enough to conceive again. If her calendar is free for your due date window, don't hesitate!  Our birth story is beautiful, largely due to Kim's involvement.

Choosing Kim as our doula was undoubtedly one of the best decisions my husband & I have made. Kim is a truly exceptional at what she does- we absolutely recommend her.

When I found out I was pregnant I was scared. My mom had a grueling & traumatizing labor- I was determined not to have that type of birthing experience. I told my husband I wanted a Doula he said he thought it was a waste of money, but would support me.

We chose Kim because she was calming, practical & seemed to flex her energy & communication styles to fit the people she worked with. She genuinely sought to identify & support my husband & I with our individual needs; she let us lead. For my husband that was spending time prior to our delivery understanding the process & decisions we may need to make- he is planner & does not do well under stress. For me- it was providing tools, coaching & the reassurance needed so I was positive, confident & prepared for labor. That work started well before & extended past my labor. Kim took it bit by bit so it was not overwhelming & she affirmed we comfortable.

Kim was always available and let us choose how best to communcate. When I went into labor she came to the house & worked with us- I felt safe & supported. At the hospital she was like an angel floating around, coordinating with my husband & the hospital staff, allowing me to stay positive & focused. It was a million little things- like the fact that she greeted me at the hospital entrance while my husband parked the car so I was not alone. She set us up for success & made sure my husband felt included & a part of the journey. After the birth she was there to help us settle in at the hospital & at home. Her guidance was spot on, her coaching was tailored our needs & she made a choppy process feel seamless. I am not religious, but I will tell you Kim was our angel & we are forever grateful for her.

I cannot put into words how much of an impact Kim had on our birth experience. After I had an unexpected induction, she instilled so much confidence in me that I could still have the unmedicated labor that I was hoping for -- and I did!

Kim provided support every step of the way; she got to know us and prepared us for labor/postpartum during pregnancy, was available to us via text/email during pregnancy and the first few hours of labor, and was an invaluable presence during labor and delivery. She encouraged me to try new positions when I was starting to get stuck mentally but also followed my lead when I expressed my own desires for certain positions and laboring strategies. Kim coached and encouraged my husband throughout labor as well, allowing us to share in some incredible moments.

I cannot recommend Kim and her services enough! I can't imagine our experience without her and would definitely work with her again for subsequent pregnancies.

I truly don’t have the right words to convey how important Kim was to our birthing experience. This was our second baby and we decided to hire a doula very last minute (10 days before our scheduled 37-week induction due to pregnancy complications). I was SO suddenly anxious and nervous surrounding the impending labor experience and felt the need to hire a doula - and it was truly the best decision we could have made. Not only was Kim one of the most imperative parts to our labor and delivery, but she also just made the experience tenfold more enjoyable. She is genuinely a wealth of knowledge and even had our nurses asking HER questions and looking for insight about specific positions, transitions, etc which I thought spoke volumes about her presence and experience. We cannot thank her or recommend her enough if you’re planning to hire a doula (even last minute!)

Thank you again, Kim, for helping us safely bringing our final baby into the world!

I am so very grateful to have had Kim as a part of my birth team! The last few weeks before labor she kept a constant line of communication and making sure she checked in with me regularly. I went to 41 weeks 4 days and those last few days were mentally hard but the support really helped. On the day I went into labor, She came in so prepared with all her birth tools some of which I didn't even realize how much I needed. Kim is so knowledgeable with labor that she knew what I needed without me even needing to speak and tell her what I was feeling! Thank you Kim for being there for my amazing home birth and for all your wisdom.

Kimberly was a KEY part of my birth team. I am so thankful for her and I am so glad I chose her as my doula. I love her calm approach and how she matched what I needed at various times prior to and during my birth. She's extremely knowledgeable, caring, present, and encouraging and I will absolutely be hiring her again as our family continues to grow. I would, without hesitation, recommend her to any of my friends or family.

My spouse and I hired Kim at the beginning of our second trimester as I regretted not hiring a doula earlier on in my first pregnancy as I did not realize the amount of support they provide both during and after pregnancy as well as during birth.

Throughout pregnancy she served as an ever ready support and wealth of knowledge. Navigating a pregnancy during a pandemic brings a whole extra layer of stress and Kim was always available to provide support, tips, and encouragement throughout it. She went above and beyond to get to know both me and my spouse as well as our birth preferences prior to the birth. She helped us to prepare for expanding our family and preparing our toddler for the new baby.

I knew going into the birth she would be able to advocate and support us in any way we needed. Thankfully, the birth was very smooth and likely due in part to the guidance provided to prepare physically for birth. She was energitic, resourceful, professional, and knowledgeable during the birth. We were so grateful to have her there. She provided support to both my spouse and myself.

Following the birth she checked in several times to make sure all of our questions were answered and needs were met.

I had debated on hiring a doula for our second pregnancy and was so glad that I did. We encountered many new challenges during our second pregnancy that we called on Kim's knowledge for. She is very client centered, makes herself very available, and only wants the best for her clients, their families and their babies. I have recommended Kim to several friends and highly recommend doula support to any expectant mother.

Hiring Kim is the best decision  my husband and I made during my pregnancy. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains it in a way that was easy to understand.

She was good at communicating in a way both my husband and I understood and felt at ease with. This is amazing since my husband and I have different communication styles.

I love her spunky personality that she combines perfectly with professional decorum.  There were times that she had a different approach than others on my care team but she only expressed that difference when needed and with the utmost professionalism and objectiveness.

Kim coached us in a holistic and natural way combined with a conventional approach as needed. She always used informed consent and encouraged us to advocate for the same for all our medical decisions we made with others on our care team.

She was responsive to our needs and available to talk about questions and concerns as much or as little as I felt I needed.

I think you will find hiring Kim is the best decision you can make in your pregnancy as well!

Our decision to hire Kim was one of the best choices we made in the preparation to become parents. Kim is the perfect blend of professional and warm, and from the beginning felt like an informed and trusted friend. She asked the right questions and brought up important topics for us to consider and discuss in order for us to feel prepared as a couple. When she arrived at the hospital to meet us, I was able to relax knowing she would be there to advocate for us, reinforce our wishes, and help us understand what was happening. I had an amazing birth experience and know that her preparation and presence that day was an essential part of it. Postpartum, she was there for us when we struggled coming home and didn't know who to go to for help. I can't speak highly enough of Kim, and will forever value her role in helping us prepare our family.

I am so grateful to have had Kim as my doula. In the lead-up to my birth, she was always prompt to respond to my many questions and was incredibly supportive and affirming. Her encouragement helped me get through a long and challenging early labor. It was clear that she is very knowledgeable about the labor process. Her recommendations for positioning helped me progress when labor stalled in the hospital. Her calm presence put my mind at ease, and she was quick to help in any way she could. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support!

I knew when I got pregnant that having a doula would benefit me. I am a BIG researcher and wanted to be able to have a resource who has been through this many times & could point me in the right direction based on what I wanted to get out of my birth experience. Kim was exactly that from the moment I met her. She offered unbiased fact based information (as well as offering her own experience where applicable!). She is so caring & supportive all while feeling like a friend you can go to & count on!

I went through my birth experience during the corona virus so while she could not join me in the hospital our pre birth visits & at home support before going to the hospital benefitted me immensely & helped me feel prepared for what was to come. I successfully navigated a natural, unmedicated birth experience with her help. I would highly recommend Kim no matter what you are looking for, as again she offered no judgement on any decisions I've made.

Kim has continued to be helpful in the couple weeks after bringing our baby home, whether to support me through the post partum hormonal adjustment or breastfeeding questions.

Could not be more grateful to have had her as part of my team & would use her again in a heart beat!

Absolute best decision! Kim was our most valuable resource; a wealth of knowledge and personal support during the end of our pregnancy and throughout the entire labor. My husband said he would not go through the laboring and birthing experience again without our doula Kim. She was professional, personable, responsive, invested, and genuinely caring. Her presence in the labor room was calming. She was a constant support during my long un-medicated labor…coaching us through various natural techniques. She kindly encouraged my husband and demonstrated several ways to support me during the labor. She counseled us on medical decisions that needed to be made and encouraged us to ask questions in order to advocate for the birth we wanted. We ultimately ended up with a cesarean section due to our little one’s station. Kim followed up with us several times after the birth to check in on me and our little one. We will be hiring Kim again for all future pregnancies!

My husband and I are so thankful that we had Kim as our doula! As first time parents, we took a childbirth class, but many of the theories we learned went out the window when we faced a birth experience in which very little went according to "the plan". Kim's compassionate guidance and expertise before and during labor and delivery made a huge difference for our family.

In addition, she provided us with excellent postpartum services, giving expert advice and encouragement as we worked through the normal new baby things as well as some complications and challenges unique to our situation. If we are blessed with another child, we will definitely plan on hiring Kim again, and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to work with a doula.

I want to take a minute to tell you why you NEED to have a doula at your delivery. I recently had my 4th baby. I have not had medicated births in the past, and planned this one to be the same. It has always been just my husband and I. Kim was just starting her business, so we thought it won't hurt anything to have her there. It was AMAZING. My husband was able to be fully present with me, giving me eye contact and reassurance with every contraction. Kim was able to provide counter pressure, and help with positioning, as well as be my voice when it was hard to express what I needed. I would not have a baby without a doula again. I highly recommend Kim, she will listen to what you want and help you come up with a plan so when you are in labor you don't have to tell her anything. My husband and I were so grateful to have her there.

Unlike most who write reviews, I'm a husband rather than Mom, which lends a bit of a different perspective to things.

Without reservation, I'm pleased to say that Kim was a fantastic asset to our birth team. She made my wife and I feel a sense of comfort that was obviously missing from the birth of our first child, serving as a coach for both Mom and I as we worked through the labor and delivery process. She was kind enough to follow up with us at home to check on how we were acclimating, which just shows how invested she was in us.

I'd recommend Kim and her services to any growing family.
