Having Bobbie as our postpartum doula was the best decision!
Bobbie helped us through the most challenging times six weeks after our baby was born. Firstly, our baby loves her. She treats our baby with utmost tenderness, speaking softly and praising her. Bobbie respects our baby's preferences and talks to her consistently during diaper changes and baths, keeping her relaxed. Our baby still enjoys these moments, and we continue interacting with her using Bobbie's techniques.
Additionally, Bobbie is punctual, always remembering to wash her hands upon entering and proactively asking about household tasks. She folds clothes with such professionalism! She helped us establish efficient systems to reduce repetitive work and assisted in documenting our baby's sleep and breastfeeding patterns, sharing her knowledge on breastfeeding and childcare.
Lastly, what sets Bobbie apart is her concern for the well-being of new parents. Through encouragement and support, she quickly helped us recover from postpartum Baby Blues, allowing us to bid farewell happily.
Thank you, Bobbie! We sincerely recommend her to any family in need of doula assistance.

Bobbi was so fantastic as a postpartum doula-I don't even know where to start. She worked with my son when he was 1 month old to 3 months old. (I would have kept her longer but my in laws moved to the area and were able to step in to help). When my son was first born, my husband and I had no family or friends in the area to assist us with our first child and Bobbi was like our guardian angel. She has so much knowledge and expertise about young babies. Not mention tons and tons of experience! She not only watched my baby so I could rest, she also helped me tremendously to problem solve when my son was having tummy trouble and feeding issues. For anyone who doesn't know the difference between a doula and a nanny, it's huge! Bobbi helped me in so many ways and was so respectful and professional, not to mention understanding and caring-i could barely string together two sentences I was so sleep deprived but she knew what we needed without me saying! I knew when my son was with Bobbi, I could rest peacefully. She helped me through probably the hardest period of my whole life and I am forever grateful.

My husband and I had our first baby in August last year. We hired Bobbie to be our postpartum doula. Bobbie is very warm, friendly and she is great with caring for newborns. She is very knowledgeable in Early Childhood Education and taught us how to take care of newborns and what activities to do with them. We learnt a great deal from her and feel very fortunate to have her support us during our postpartum journey. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a postpartum doula.

Bobbie is a fantastic post partum doula, and I recommend her wholeheartedly. She showed great professionalism but also passion for my newborn boy and genuine care for me the mama. Her first stay with us was during the night we brought baby boy from the hospital. I was so scared to leave him overnight with someone other than myself, but I woke up to a clean house, and happy, well fed baby. My toddler really loves her as well. The nights were silent, Bobbie is just so careful at ensuring that the newborn is attended to and parents can sleep peacefully. One thing that struck me is that she dimms all the lights to create a peaceful ambiance for the baby. For 8 hours, this super human just sits next to the baby in basically pitch dark and watches him sleep and attends to his needs promptly.
Bobbie has that rare, kingly kindness that you just don’t encounter anymore. She always asks about my well being, and asks about what is it that will help me feel better around the house. Always comes up with some knowledgeable and practical tips and tricks on how to handle a newborn. She is great at organization. She helps with laundry and folds the clothes so beautifully it moved me to tears. For someone who hates folding, this was an incredible gesture.
I absolutely trust Bobbie with the baby and would be happy to speak to anyone about my experience. Please consider Bobbie as your post party Doula, you will not regret it! Reach out if you have questions about my experience with Bobbie at mk4662@nyu.edu

This was my first child and first experience with a Doula. My midwife recommended one and once we found out we were having a c-section we knew a post partum doula was the right choice. Bobbie was recommended when we were searching and I cannot be more thankful. This was during COVID and she made us feel very comfortable. We talked over the phone and then met in person before my daughter arrived. Bobbie provided us with over night and day time visits for multiple days. She provided so much helpful information along the way and we had some great conversations about raising our child. It was such a great experience to have someone around that clearly cared so much about our daughter. I learned so much from Bobbie and trusted her completely. Our daughter loved their interactions and we appreciate everything she did for us.

Bobbie was very gentle and caring with our newborn. I was able to get some sleep while she was visiting. She also helps cleaning up our kitchen. It was wonderful to wake up to a clean kitchen and a content baby. During some of her visits, what I needed was someone to be with our 3.5 yo. Bobbie brought her own toys to play with her and took her to the park. My 3.5 yo enjoyed her company so much that she still asks about Bobbie from time to time! We are thankful to have Bobbie's help!

Bobbie was a wonderful match for our family as a PP doula. She was with us for 6 weeks and in that time, my husband and I learned a lot from her and as a result, gained more confidence in how we were understanding and interacting with our baby.
On paper, Bobbie has fantastic qualifications and experiences that are well-suited to being a PP doula. Her degree in early childhood education and her many years of experience running a pre-school mean she knows a lot and has seen a lot. In person, she has a very calming demeanor and way of interacting, which is wonderful for both the baby and the parents! It is clear that she has a passion for children and loves interacting with babies. She took a keen interest in our baby's growth and development, often bringing her own books, toys, and tools to use.
Bobbie is a great listener and quickly became attuned to what our family needed. She did light housekeeping and tidying without any prompting. It was so calming to enter a room where Bobbie had been - the bed had been made, items picked up and folded, dishes put away, bottles washed. We did meal prep and baked together a couple of times too, which was fun! She brought order to our home, which allowed us to feel more relaxed and at ease.
Having a PP doula is an experience I would highly recommend to any new parent. Being able to observe someone who's had experience with babies is so helpful. As a new parent, you figure out how to do things like feed your baby, change a diaper, etc. - it's good enough and works. But seeing how someone else does it can be so eye opening and help you discover even more effective or easier ways to care for your baby. Having someone who can hold and soothe your baby to give you a break is so crucial in the fourth trimester - and having someone there to bounce things off of is really comforting because there can be so many questions!
Any family would be lucky to have Bobbie as a PP doula.

Bobbie was great for our family as a postpartum doula. She made us feel very comfortable and is someone that I really trusted with our baby and in our home. It was so nice having her come and help me out with the baby or just talk to her about how motherhood was going for me and how I was feeling. As a first time mom there were so many questions that I had and she was great at showing us tips and techniques that we still use four months later.

Bobbie is the best doula a family can get. Even before our baby was birn, she helped us organize the house (developed a system so that we would always have clean bottles, organized all the baby clothing and essentials...) and also helpes us prepare mentally for all the changes. Her help during the time we were in the hospital for birth (multiple nights) was extremely useful. She has a great connection with newborns, the way she holds our baby, sings to her, puts her to sleep is bery special. She is always great at anticipating the baby's, mom's and the whole family's needs befoee we even realize them. It is a great luck to have her as our doula, thank you Bobbie!
