My husband and I worked with Brittany for the births of our two children. I would say that I was a fairly informed birthing person in terms of what to expect, how to prepare (as best as I could), and what I was hoping for in terms of our birth. But I had never been in a birthing space before and knew that I wanted someone on my team who loved that space and honored it. Someone who could support us in ways we couldn't prepare for. Hiring Brittany was hiring someone who had all the experience that we did not. Someone who could translate medical jargon for us when needed. Who advocated for my voice to be heard when I made choices throughout my births. Who could encourage us to take a breath, a pause, to really think things through. Who could make us smile and laugh in moments that we may not have expected. Both of my births had unexpected twists and turns. Brittany supported us through every moment with empathy, encouragement, and information when we needed it.

When we were initially interviewing doulas for our first child's birth, I'll never forget what my husband said about Brittany: "She'll be like having Mike Tyson in our corner." And it was. She was in our corner, fighting with and for us every step of the way.

We are so grateful to Brittany for being with us for the births of our daughter and son. What a delight it was to work with her. We couldn't recommend her highly enough!

I am personally a doula and I chose Brittany to be my doula...so that should surely speak volumes!

I have hired Brittany as my doula for both my births and will continue to do so for all future births. She’s fantastic and worth every penny! She makes you feel so supported in every way and will help inform you & empower you to make all the best decisions for your birth. She has countless resources and tools to help you in whatever ways you need it. Just make sure you follow her advice! From start to finish she’s the total package. You get meetings and phone support during your pregnancy, physical support for labor & birth and then a fantastic postpartum meeting (this one is my fav) where she goes over all the details of your birth and makes sure you felt safe and supported and brings you a super yummy meal. Having her is for sure a lifeline for one of the most emotional times of a couple’s life!

Brittany was a literal doula angel. I am not the best at advocating for myself and I knew from the first time I met her she would be my advocate through and through. She gave me so many good ideas, referrals, and ways to prepare for birth. She was the cheerleader I needed and in the end I got the healing and redemptive birth I wanted! I will hire her for all future pregnancies and recommend her to anybody who will listen. I am so blessed to have found her!

Brittany was our doula for our third child. After having traumatic birth experiences before, we were looking forward to being equipped with the best doula anyone could imagine! A lot happened throughout the pregnancy that we couldn’t predict (including COVID-19) and Brittany was with us every step of the way providing emotional and physical support that was truly priceless. We will forever cherish the support she gave us, and I recommend any birthing person: do yourself a favor and hire her, you won’t regret it!!!!

Brittany was the biggest blessing to have during my labor and delivery!! She supported and led my husband and I through the process with such grace, care, and wisdom. She was such a great encourager and we felt so cared for the entire time. This was my first baby and I plan to have her be our doula for all our future babies! I don’t think I could have had the natural unmedicated birth I dreamed about without Brittany’s support. She was the perfect match for us! I will highly recommend her to all my friends and highly reccomend her to you too!

I don't even know where to start with describing how great our experience was with Brittany. After feeling bullied into being induced with my first pregnancy and  enduring a fairly long labor on pitocin, I knew I wanted a doula the second time around.

Brittany was a great resource for us before, during, and after birth. I felt informed, empowered, and safe through my pregnancy. I ultimately decided to schedule an induction at 41w4d but felt knowledgeable about why it was the best decision for me and my baby this time around. With her help through my intense, short labor, I was able to give birth to my beautiful little boy with no other interventions, which was one of my goals.

I highly recommend Brittany for any mom looking for an advocating, strong, loving person to be a part of  their birth process.

Brittany was our doula for our second child in June 2019. From our first meeting months before our son was born we were HIGHLY impressed with the level of care we received. Not just me as the mother, but my husband and even our oldest child. Brittany took the time to get to know us as a family and what we all needed during the pregnancy, the birth and even postpartum. She took detailed notes in every meeting (which was amazing because the further I got in pregnancy the more I forgot about what I wanted. :P ) Brittany was very attentive to what we wanted to do differently and listened to our desired birth plan. She answered all our questions, put our mind at ease, and if she didn't have an answer right away she would research it and come back with an answer. I felt so empowered going into the birth because I KNEW without a doubt that she had the knowledge, skill and talent, and that she CARED about us.

During labor she was hands on, but never crowded our space. She could read the room. She anticipated our needs. She was positive and calm. It was like having a close friend or family member in the room. She performed the Three Sisters (Rebozo, Forward-leaning Inverion, Side-lying Release) techniques from Spinning Babies and within 10minutes I transitioned and our son was born. If it hadn't been for that I really believe I would have been in labor for much longer.

After our son was born she checked in on me through text message to see how I was doing. She brought us a DELICIOUS meal and shared her notes from the birth. It was a beautiful touch since we couldn't remember everything that happened (the song that was playing while my son was born, phrases I kept saying over in labor, etc).

Brittany is a powerhouse Doula. I recommend her to everyone. She has a wealth of knowledge, a unique and personal touch. I wish I would have had her for our first birth! HIRE HER!

Having Brittany as my doula is the best decision we made during my pregnancy. Since the beginning of my pregnancy the one thing I was pretty sure of is that I wanted an unmedicated birthing experience and I am happy that I ended up having one just as I expected. Thanks to Brittany, it is only after meeting her we came to know about birth center and how they encourage mothers to give unmedicated birth.
Brittany helped me in understanding labor and mentally preparing me that my body is capable of doing it. She visited me twice at home and made me ease into few stretches, breathing pattern and exercises before my due date . She constantly checked my physical and emotional status and addressed my concerns.  During my labor , I almost diluted to 10cm at home and was unable to bear the pain, Brittany came home and was by my side reciting the breathing pattern. Her breathing technique really helped me to stay calm amist the chaos and reach the birth center safely. She was my walking, talking coach while also remembering to take out a camera and capture the beautiful memory for me.  Because my husband was by my side, he was also very grateful for our doula. It took some of the pressure off of him. All he had to worry about was staying by my side and supporting me however I needed it. I had a beautiful water birth having my family members and Brittany beside me.

After the birth, Brittany came to our home to check on me with some yummy food. She wanted to know how I was feeling, how I was hanging in there, and how I was adjusting to my new addition. My mental health and happiness were her priority, and it felt so nice to have someone looking out for me in that way when I was consumed with thinking of only my new baby.

I highly recommend Brittany. She embodies everything you'd want while bringing a new life into the world — she is kind, warm, supportive, and encouraging!

Brittany was a great support to my husband and I during the labor process. Her communication style empowered me and gave us as a couple confidence. She gave us ideas on how to wait out the process and space we needed to make it a good experience between the two of us. When the baby came I thought to myself this is the best labor experience I have had yet, I was so satisfied by how it all turned out. She helped me  redeem the process and the memories from my last two. And thus I am evermore grateful for her help.

My Doula Brittany literally made my birth!

First of all, she spent a ton of time with us beforehand educating us and being there for us with multiple visits and even a care package! She was available for my countless texts of questions and made me feel like a dear friend of hers right from the start.
When I was in early labor she was there for me, even though it was the middle of the night. She helped coach me through all that was going on with my body and helped guide me on when I should go to the hospital. Once I was admitted she baked cookies for us and headed to the hospital to help me through back labor contractions. It was a good thing too, because my husband was not much of a help up to this point. The moment she walked into my room at the hospital I was relieved and felt like I was in caring, loving, and guiding hands.
She helped me through horrible back labor and even helped get baby into a better postion for delivery. She helped me through 2 epidurals and then 90 minutes of intense pushing. She is the reason my birth was an incredible experience. If I hadn't had her  I know my birth would of been a not so good experience!
She then made a postpartum visit to check in on how we were all doing and brought us a soul satisfying meal.

Brittany is truly the best! She is a necessity for birth and will definitely be a part of all my future births!

Brittany was such a great help in the months leading up to our daughter’s birth, during labor and delivery, and postpartum. She helped me feel calm and prepared through the whole process and I believe was one of the reasons we had such a smooth delivery. The hospital staff even commented on what a great doula she is. I am so happy a friend recommended Brittany to us! She is great at what she does!
