Sarah was an outstanding addition for support after the birth of my second child. I would highly recommend her services. My family hired Sarah for postpartum support. We had recently moved to a new area and didn't have family nearby that could be available with short notice to take care of my oldest child while I was in hospital giving birth to the second. Sarah was available on call and was able to come stay with my older daughter who was 5 when I went into labor. Knowing that my daughter was safe and taken care of and freeing up my husband to come to the hospital with me gave me crucial peace of mind going into labor. Sarah also provided support for several months after bringing our second girl home.  I had a lot of post partum anxiety after my first child was born and felt much more at ease after the birth of my second. I believe having the additional support and resources Sarah provided played a large part in that. I also really appreciated how thoughtful Sarah was about the advice and resources she provided and took time to research evidence based guidance. If I decide to extend my family again I would call Sarah again without hesitation.

Sarah was an invaluable resource as we prepared to welcome our son into the world. Sarah is extremely knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful, experienced, and kind and she exudes a calm and steady energy. Working with Sarah before and after delivering our son provided us with a solid foundation and helped us feel as prepared as possible to become new parents. Sarah's support during labor and delivery was so valuable to both me and my partner and made us both feel so supported throughout such an intense process. Sarah was very patient, considerate, understanding, and accommodating around some mental health challenges I was navigating during pregnancy and she provided a safe, non-judgmental space of support for us. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who is looking for an experienced, thoughtful, caring, and supportive doula during one of the biggest, most intense experiences of your life. We wouldn't have wanted to do this with anyone else!

What can I say about Sarah?

It's been almost a year since my daughter was born and I still use the advice she gave me regarding how to properly bathe, feed and clothe my baby girl. Sarah was the angel I needed during the most vulnerable time of my life- first time mother healing from a Cesaerean birth. Sarah showed me how to elevate my feet to help with the swelling, how to nurse without putting pressure of my baby on my stomach, how to properly hold my daughter, and how to figure out how to eat with a newborn. I'm getting teary eyed now just thinking about ALL the help she provided me and my family. I was drowning as a new mother also recovering from a Cesaerean. Sarah was my saving grace and I will forever be thankful for her help, advice, and grace.

Sarah is a wonderful person and doula! I highly recommend working with her.

Sarah was our postpartum doula for the several weeks post NICU discharge for our sweet preemie baby boy. We were so nervous to leave the hospital after our long stay without help, and Sarah was the answer. She is a literal dream. She earned our trust quickly with her calm demeanor, sincere kindness, and many years of experience with our hospital and NICU. She was sensitive to our anxieties given our son came so early into the world, and we totally trusted her with our son. She is the only reason we got any real sleep in the first couple of weeks at home, helping us survive at first and leaving us with the tools to thrive after that - everything from confidence with bath time, learning to use our wrap carrier, and finding just the right way to sway our baby to sleep. Any family would be lucky to have Sarah as their doula!

I don't know what we would have done without Sarah's help! She saved us so many hours of critical sleep in the early months, as well as teaching us so much about raising a newborn. She helped me figure out breastfeeding, gave us tips for getting our little one to sleep, and so much more. Sarah was communicative, reliable, and so great with our little baby girl.

As they say "Weigh your doubla in gold" .. it definitely holds true for Sarah.

I was pregnant with my second and so desperately wanted VBAC this time around. So, started searching for a doula who can support me with VBAC journey and also help me overcome my past birth trauma.

After interviewing almost 10+ doula's, Sarah experience was evident and we made The BEST decision ever to have Sarah in our birth team.

Sarah is phenomenal when it comes to preparing for labor and her prenatal visits were very informative and helped me and my husband feel confident for the labor day and delivery.

Sarah reached hospital directly around 1:00am when we informed her that I am in active labor and she was by my side every single minute of almost 12 hours long labor. She didn't even rest and she helped me change positions every 30 mins. The way she engaged our nurses to work as a team and the way she ensured that I am fully understanding and making informed decisions during those intense moments was amazing. When I was loosing hope she told me 'The only option is Winning from here' and it gave me utter strength and positivity to continue to labor. Yes!! I got my VBAC and most pleasant and healing birth experience all because of Sarah.

I strongly believe that my VBAC wouldn't have been possible without Sarah. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and I am so so thankful for everything she has done for me that day. ??

For our second baby, we knew we wanted to take a different birth path then what we experienced with our son. Sarah was the angel I’d been looking for. Our conversations were natural, and the passion she possesses for birth was undeniable. She had a calming softness to her which was exactly what I needed. Since this was our first time working with a doula, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Sarah was very clear/precise with helping us invision her support/care.

Sarah was so organized/intentional with her care. She spent time teaching us various techniques that would be helpful while I labored. She was focused on insuring we knew how to help me in early labor.

Sloane's due date became her birthday, and Sarah was exceptional the entire time. Laboring at home briefly, David and I were able to use some of the techniques Sarah had shown us, to help keep me comfortable.

From the moment Sarah arrived, she was a breath of light. She guided David on how best to support me with hand placements, pressure points, wet cloths, breathing patters, etc. She gave me strength to know that my body was so capable of bringing this little life into our world.

Our labor was quick and so was her birth. After her birth, we were all enamored and felt so loved by Sarah. To my surprise, Sarah gave me the most incredible gift. Somehow this superhero of a woman was able to capture our birth moments with video’s and pictures. Having the gift to look back at these moments where we became a family of 4, leaves me speechless.  Both my husband and I look back at Sloane’s birth story with only beautiful memories. Sarah truly set the tone of our birth expectations and our actual reality exceeded even that. If god and our family decide we’re ever growing to a family of 5, I know Sarah will be my first call. I’m forever grateful we get to call this beautiful woman, a dear friend.

I delivered my baby when covid cases were quite high and our family could not join us. Sarah was a real god send for our family. I had some past trauma and needed someone who could not only help me out with the baby and also ensure I don't get into postpartum stress. From day 1, I felt very safe and comfortable leaving my baby with Sarah and getting some much needed rest. Sarah was wonderful in taking care of the baby overnight and also doing chores around the house(baby related). What stood out the most for me was that I felt like I also had a therapist all the while. I would highly recommend her to anyone unfortunately having a rainbow baby or needing a doula after a trauma.

Sarah is one of those people who walks into a space and exudes calm and our baby couldn't agree more. Upon arrival, Sarah would check in with us and gently come up with a plan for the day. No matter the question, concern or situation Sarah would have the resources to collaborate a solution all while soothing whatever immediate needs we were currently working through. We're so thankful to have had Sarah with us as we transitioned into parenthood and cannot recomend her enough.

My husband and I worked with Sarah following the birth of our second child and can't say enough great things about her.

She had such a calm and nurturing feel that we were very comfortable with her caring for our brand new infant while we got some much-needed rest overnight. When it was time to nurse in the middle of the night, Sarah would bring the baby to me in bed and gave me some very helpful tips and pointers about breastfeeding. We also very much appreciated her nightly summaries, which included all feedings, sleep sessions, diaper changes and any observations she had about the baby that we might want to know about. A few of them we did bring to our pediatrician, so we are grateful that she was keeping an eye out.

She was also very intentional about making sure she was looking after both the baby and me as I recovered from childbirth. At times she literally held cups of water to my mouth so that I could drink while nursing, and I can't say enough how much it meant to be taken care of like that. I had shared with her that I developed postpartum anxiety with my first child, so she very gently made sure to ask how I was doing during each visit.

I'm certain that the care Sarah provided and the rest she allowed us to get helped me avoid developing PPA again, and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her!

Getting Sarah as our post partum doula was one of the best decisions we made in the last few months. We realized we were going to need someone to help us with our newborn. Sarah took care of our baby right from the first night, for an entire month and we immensely appreciated her presence and her help in our home as first-time parents during a pandemic. She was one of the main reasons I had a quick and smooth physical and mental recovery from a long and lonely pregnancy and a C section. I cannot emphasize how organized, knowledgeable, professional, and kind she was both in dealing with the baby and me. Let me list some of the few things that were incredibly helpful to us in having Sarah.

First, we learned so much about taking care of a newborn. We had dutifully attended all the baby classes and yet, the real experience of dealing with a baby was nothing close to what we had theoretically learned in class and Sarah was such a great resource. Right from feeding, swaddling, changing, burping, we learned a ton of new things, best practices and the latest research as the baby grew each week. Second, I was breastfeeding round the clock. My baby would take ~40 minutes each feeding and just having someone to have a conversation with during the long and lonely nighttime feeds massively helped with my mental health. Third, she encouraged me to keep up with all the best practices in breastfeeding and even set up my breast pump. Fourth, she would leave her notes of what our baby did during the night right from the first night at home. This would include cute little activity logs to flagging health issues that we ended up consulting with our doctor. Finally, breastfeeding is not easy - but burping and putting the baby to sleep is SO much more difficult and Sarah completely took care of that part and that really helped us.

Seriously, we are very thankful to Sarah!

We hired Sarah as the doula for the birth of our first baby, and we can't recommend her enough! Sarah is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable! She took time to get to know us and our desires for our labor and delivery. She came alongside us in support each step of the way.

Our "birth plan" didn't quite go as planned since I needed to be induced. Sarah helped us make informed decisions each step of the way and shifted with us so quickly and graciously making us feel empowered with each change in our "plan" that came along.

My husband was so thankful for her support and direction during labor. She helped him know how to help me with certain positions throughout labor which was very helpful for us both! He felt better equipped as a birthing partner because of her help.

We both appreciated Sarah's support and encouragement postpartum! She checked in on us and cared about how the whole family unit was doing postpartum. She encouraged us in how we were doing and made us know she was available for postpartum support if we needed any extra help. It was so nice to know that she was there if we needed extra postpartum support in those early sleepless days!

Sarah is kind, empathetic, compassionate, and competent! She was such a joy to have on our birth team! If you are looking for someone to join your team we highly recommend Sarah!!

Sarah was truly a wonderful overnight doula- such a pleasure to work with her. She is genuinely kind and compassionate, yet very professional. Always communicated promptly and gave us a heads up and provided info for a backup doula if she was unavailable on the nights we needed. Our little baby boy (about 1-3 months old while we worked with her) really enjoyed spending time with her, and was quite happpy and chatty with her! :) She also left very thorough notes on the night time so we felt informed of our baby's care. Would absolutely have her here every week if our budget allowed. We highly recommend her!

I truly don't know where to begin. We had decided to work with Sarah within our first chat with her. I was drawn to her compassion, knowledge and warmth. We had everything ready to go and our son unexpectedly came 3 weeks early. Sarah was incredibly accommodating and met us at our home the very first night we were released feom the hospital. She was a source of calm and safety for us as we navigated a newborn after a major surgery and exhausting stay in the hospital. I was able to sleep peacefully knowing how well our baby was taken care of and moreover how well I was being cared for. When our time with her was over I felt myself feeling a sense of loss as she became such an integral part of our family. Anyone who has the opportunity to know her and work with her will be better for it.
