Hello World, Baby Howie here!
I’m brand new to living earth-side, but my first order of business is to write a thank you note to Natasha Brisbin, the amazing birth doula who helped my parents welcome me to the world. Natasha was so great at helping my mom and dad, she’s very calm and has lots of knowledge about the birthing process as well as tips and tricks for keeping new babies (like me) happy and healthy. From advice on burping and gas removal to prepping for birth, Natasha has a wealth of knowledge. My mom says that Natasha’s massage and acupressure techniques were very helpful with pain management as I made my way into the world.
My dad says that he felt much more relaxed about the process knowing that mom had expert support from start to finish of my arrival. Even though I put my mom through a marathon with my birth, Natasha’s patience and support really helped my mom stay calm and use her sense of humor to cope throughout the process. Not only was mom cracking jokes with the staff right up to the end, she didn’t even swear! My dad was very surprised about this, he was worried about influencing my first words! We love Natasha and are so thankful we had her support, we absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a birth doula or postnatal doula support. Working with Natasha was one of the best decisions my parents made (aside from having me of course)!

Natasha was an amazing help in our home for Mom and baby while Dad was away. She has a calm demeanour, and soft voice. She was helpful with light chores, which she volunteered to do happily. I kept saying she's a baby whisperer because no one could make my baby sleep as well as she could! It was evident she had lots of experience with her many helpful hints and ability to take care of baby with almost no direction! In addition, she was great to chat to and was easy to schedule time with. 1000% would recommend to any family!

It was wonderful having Natasha. This was my first baby, and my family isn't near by. At first I was nervous having a stranger around, my pregnancy had been a stressful time and we met close to the new.

Regularless Natasha took the time to listen to me, educate me, and reassure me. She made my husband feel included

During labour she was there for me, I hadn't slept in days and she did everything available to make me comfortable. Towards the end I was in and out of consciousness, I kept thinking my mother was in the room, but it was Natasha. That's how nurturing she is

I almost want to get pregnant again just so that we can have her around haha. I highly recommend her

Natasha was one of the best parts of my postpartum experience. I had limited support in the area. Natasha helped me in so many ways in the early days with my son. With her support I was able to overcome the learning curve that came with breastfeeding. I was able to rest, heal and enjoy my time with my son knowing many tasks were being completed. She is such a kind person and I would recommend her to every new parent!

We had Natasha for our third baby.

She helped our whole family making in ways healthy meals, snacks, laundry, cleaning and more.

Early stage of mama job can make you feel "lonely" it helped me alot to share all the experiences and talk to her about what was going on with me.

I struggled with breastfeeding baby, she gave me helpful tips and cheer.

Good to have professional experience/knowledge close to me.

Our whole family appreciates having her around.

We are so thankful for her hard work.

Natasha helped me through the loss of my pregnancy. She was always avalible to listen and she is one of the kindest humans I know. I was in a dark place and she helped me to move forward at my own pace. I am so greatful.

Natasha was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable and inspired about the whole birthing experience. She provided great support for both me and my boyfriend during the birth and labour and was always just a text away if I was having any questions or concerns. She was easy to connect with and has very good energy that she brings with her. Glad I chose her as my doula! Would definitely recommend :)

Natasha was my post partum doula. Words can’t explain my gratitude for how amazing Natasha was. I have a lot of guilt when asking for help, I was open about this to Natasha. She was very comforting and supportive for all of my needs. She was there for my newborn and my two year old during a time of post partum depression and struggling to adjust. I am so thankful and will recommend a post part doula and Natasha to any expecting mama’s I know! Thank you!!

I wish I could find a better word that conveys how happy and satisfied we are with our doula. At the labour time, we could reach Natasha easily and she was with us in a matter of minutes, when we called her. She is professional and friendly at the same time. Overall, Natasha did a great job. She was not just our doula, rather she became our friend, our lovely friend. She has a great heart and worked harder than her responsibilities. Due to some complications, the labour took longer time than normal. Natasha was consistently beside us in the whole time, and support us emotionally and physically. To be honest, we could have not been more blessed. We didnt know that God is going to send us an angel when we asked for a human doula. Anyway, Natasha did perform all her responsibilities that were listed in our contract, completely and we are absolutely happy with her work.
