Kaely is a wonderfully compassionate and knowledgeable doula. We originally met her through a childbirth education class, and she immediately impressed us with her dedication to evidence-based best practices. Throughout the pregnancy, Kaely regularly checked in and provided quick, helpful, and sympathetic answers to all of our questions; we felt completely supported throughout the duration. We found both the virtual appointment to draft the birth plan and especially the in-person appointment on labor coping techniques to be extremely useful, given that I ended up laboring at home for 8 hours after being sent home from our first visit to labor and delivery triage. When we ended up in a "baby race" and Kaely had to pass the baton to a back-up doula, she continued to check in with us throughout labor and, once the first labor concluded, offered to swap with her back-up -- a true commitment to her clients, given the length of the first labor. We're extremely grateful for Kaely's help throughout the pregnancy, and we strongly recommend her to anyone considering a doula.

Kaely was a crucial, empathetic, and enthusiastic support for my partner and I throughout our first pregnancy and birth experience. We appreciated her confident, warm, fun, and gentle presence throughout all our interactions. Towards the end of a long pushing stage of labor, Kaely and I looked each other in the eyes and without words, just her warm smile, nod, and presence with me 100% inspired another burst of confidence and strength that welcomed our son to the world. I appreciated that she was trauma-informed too and she infused this perspective and approach in all of our prenatal, labor, and postpartum interactions. With an unexpectedly long labor, we also appreciated that Kaely was with us from start to finish as part of her labor package - labor is so unexpected, and not having to worry about hours or a ticking clock in regards to the additional support is huge. Kaely is great with support partners too, really meeting them where they are at, and offering encouragement as well as gentle direction on how partners can be present and supportive. I'd gladly work with Kaely again and again! Having her support was the best decision I made as part of my birth experience!

Hiring Kaely as a birth doula was one of the best decisions we have made.  We met her while taking her two-day child birthing class at 32 weeks gestation.  Her guidance in class gave us confidence in the daunting experience ahead, but we knew it would quickly be overcome by new apprehensions soon after class ended and elicited her doula services as a result. The two prenatal visits and on-demand phone support kept us well-informed and at ease.  When labor started, she met us at the hospital at a perfect time during the process.  Kaely’s hands-on support, vast experience, and comforting demeanor were critical to what ended up being a wonderful birthing experience even after 14 hours of labor. She partnered incredibly well with the provider and nurses.  We perceived the medical staff to be even more engaged as timed passed because of how well they meshed with her. To that end, after she departed, both the doctor and nursing staff lauded her as one of the best doulas they had experienced.   Our expectations of how infrequent we would see the provider in the hospital proved accurate.  For the vast majority of the 14 hours, it was just the two of us and Kaely.  We would hire Kaely again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely loved having Kaely as a birth and postpartum Doula. She is extemely knowledgeable, compassionate, and inclusive. Her birth class helped us feel prepared for labor and postpartum, and we highly recommend parents to be to take it! We especially found the spinning babies techniques she taught us to be helpful during end of pregnancy and in labor. During labor, Kaely helped me feel empowered and safe. She was by my side (literally) every step of the way. (And she is the best at counter pressure!!). I highly recommend Kaely as a Doula and would absolutely use her again in future births!

Kaely is amazing to work with. It took me a number of years to get pregnant, so I brought some extra anxiety and some degree of trauma to my pregnancy. I cannot overstate how compassionate and calming Kaely was in response. She responded to all of my worried questions throughout my pregnancy quickly, patiently, and ably. She is incredibly knowledgable, and she exudes an incredible level of calm that helped me keep my anxiety in check. She also has a great sense of humor that helped me put things in perspective. Her prenatal visits were so helpful in providing us with skills and knowledge to prepare for childbirth. She is flexible, understanding, and thorough. I genuinely enjoyed the time I spent with Kaely preparing for the birth of my daughter. My husband and I also took her online childbirth class, and we found it to be very helpful. We appreciated the format of the class for its flexibility, and it was packed with good info and helpful tips. After I gave birth, we both talked about the wisdom from Kaely's class that we remembered while we were going through labor and delivery.

I ended up going into precipitous labor and Kaely wasn't able to attend the birth of my daughter. However, she called a substitute doula who was able to support me. I trusted that if Kaely trusted the substitute doula, she would be incredible (and she was!). After I gave birth, Kaely checked in frequently and continued to be just as knowledgeable, helpful, and reassuring as she was during my pregnancy.

I truly cannot recommend Kaely highly enough. She has a gift for providing support and reassurance during the uniquely challenging experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, and infancy.

My husband and I worked with Kaely for both of my pregnancies and couldn't be happier. Kaely has a wealth of knowledge, is very confident in her abilities and has a warm and comfortable demeanor. She's able to take control of a situation without being overbearing and really cares about her clients.

As first time parents, we worked with Kaely to provide post-partrum doula services after the birth of our son. Kaely's advice and guidance helped us become confident as we navigated learning how to take care of our baby. It was extremely comforting to us to know that Kaely was available to answer our many questions. She was patient, kind and supportive in helping us to find our footing as parents and really served as an invaluable resource during the crazy first weeks of parenthood. While we mainly wanted a doula to provide educational support, I also really appreciated that she made sure to help me in my own recovery and allowed me to find time to take care of myself. I would highly recommend Kaely and her doula services!

We are so grateful to have Kaely as our doula during our first pregnancy and birth, and we probably would not have had the positive birth experience we had without her support. Kaely is incredibly knowledgable and  she always provided us with evidence-based insights on our questions, while also encouraging us to make our own informed choices.

While we planned for a home birth, circumstances led us to transfer to the hospital at the very end of labor. We felt prepared, even in these unforseen circumstances, to advocate for ourselves and our baby.

Thank you Kaely for your love and support!

Kaely is an excellent doula who has been an integral part of our post-baby birth experience. She is knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. Throughout the process she provided us with crucial information that calmed our nerves, which was essential in those first few weeks with the new baby. Kaely is a one-stop-shop for all things baby related including recommendations for baby gear/accessories, vitamins/supplements, pediatricians/doctors, and more. Her considerable experience is telling and her advice was thoughtful, presenting us with multiple options that we could choose from according to our needs and preferences. Her deep understanding of the various hospital systems in the area enabled us to consult with her regarding key steps and procedures, allowing us to ensure the medical staff followed through with what they needed to do. I would recommend Kaely for others and will be happy to engage her services again in the future.

Kaely was our doula for two births, my daughter's 3 years ago and my son's about 2 months ago. She has been an outstanding source of support, advice, guidance and friendship to my husband and I as we have grown our family. From the moment I met Kaely, she immediately put me at ease. She has a very relaxed, warm and friendly demeanor and a great sense of humor.  She is incredibly supportive and absolutely non judgemental which allows you to be completely open and honest about your needs and expectations. She supported me to have the kind of pregnancy, labor and birth that I want, and to the extent possible and on my terms.  Furthermore I really appreciated the relationship she developed with my husband (i.e. birth partner). They developed a strong friendship and became an outstanding two-person team there to support me.  This was an incredibly important element to the doula services we needed because we wanted the experience to still be an intimate one between me and my husband. Kaely was there to help my husband support me, to give him guidance, advice and also a break when needed so that when I needed him he was present for me. Finally Kaely is incredibly knowledgeable about pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. I could text or email her any question and she would respond with a thoughtful evidence-based answer. Particularly for my first child, I felt overwhelmed by all of the information available in books and the internet about pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum, being able to just ask Kaely and get a well researched answer helped lower my anxiety and stress (and reduce hours of my own research). I would highly recommend Kaely as a doula to anyone who inquired about her services.

As first time parents to be we knew we wanted some extra support during birth and afterwards.  Kaely did a wonderful job answering questions, soothing worries, providing resources (and tracking them down if she didn't know one off the top of her head) leading up to birth.  During the long tough birth process Kaely helped support us starting at home with comfort measures and navigating when to go to the hospital, then advocating with and for us throughout the hospital stay.  Her postpartum visits were extremely helpful as she could not only do what a friend or family might - care for the baby so we could nap, fold laundry, etc, but with her wealth of knowledge and experience, she could confidently and nonjudgmentally answer all those nervous newborn care questions, troubleshoot breastfeeding, help with the first bath, etc.  Kaely has continued to be a part of our family through the roller coaster ride of postpartum life we've been on.  For her never ending support, genuine care (and ability to communicate it), knowledge, wisdom, and validation we are truly grateful.

I am so grateful to have had Kaely as our doula for my first birth. We decided to have a doula late at 35 weeks, but Kaely made time to meet with us to prepare and demonstrate comfort measures in the short time before I went into labor. Kaley was also incredibly supportive during my whirlwind birth experience as she helped us understand what was going on, asked helpful questions, and continued to check in with me as things progressed quickly. I am also incredibly grateful for her support postpartum. She helped me troubleshoot breastfeeding issues and connected me to multiple postpartum care resources. Most importantly, Kaley helped me to feel proud of my labor experience and more confident about trusting my gut, which is invaluable as a new mother. Kaely is truly wonderful to work with and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

We are so immensely grateful to have had Kaely support our growing family as our birth and post-partum doula.

Kaely's constant wisdom and reassuring answers to our many questions were instrumental in ensuring we had a supported birth and post partum experience - and we really couldn’t, and don’t want to, imagine going through such a big life adventure without her support. Her incredibly helpful advice was especially important as we navigated the physical mental and emotional ups and downs of a tough labor and delivery. Working with Kaely was easily one of the best decisions we made in preparing for our baby's arrival!

Kaely was just what we needed. We're first time parents and wanted someone who could answer questions, walk with us through the process and help advocate for us in the hospital. She did all of that and more. She made herself available to answer any questions. She is personable, gentle and knowledgeable! We both felt comfortable with her in our home. She's also professional - sending good information, giving us tools to make our own decisions and being supportive of those decisions. She always communicated in a timely manner and responded quickly. I absolutely think that our delivery would have been different if she wasn't there supporting and guiding us through it.

After having a traumatic first pregnancy, we decided late in my second pregnancy that having a doula as part of our care team would help ease anxiety, provide balanced information, and support informed decision making. Working with Kaely was one of the best choices I've made even though we only had a few weeks to build a relationship and prepare for baby's arrival! From the beginning, Kaely was a safe space where my husband and I felt we could be honest, vulnerable, and open about our fears, worries, and blindspots. She took the time to get to know us and connect with us and our unique situation. She was always ready with encouraging words, evidence-based information, and thoughtful questions to help us process our own thoughts, become stronger advocates, and come to our own informed decisions. During labor and delivery, Kaely was a calm and comforting presence, helping to process our thoughts and validate our decisions along the way. Thanks to Kaely, I look back at the experience with positive feelings and no regrets. We are so thankful for her support and guidance during this huge milestone in our life!

My delivery was hard and intense, but Kaely made the whole experience less hard on me and my husband. We don't know what our delivery experience would have been without Kaely. She's knowledgeable, professional and caring. It also helps that she acknowledges how traumatic delivery can be, and that she knows the staff and team at GW, where I delivered.

We felt like we had a friend with us in the delivery room. We never felt like clients. In preparation for delivery and in postpartum, Kaely was always available and willing to help. Her guidance was determinant as she answered key questions about the process. Her guidance helped us make better, informed decisions. Me and my husband highly recommend Kaely. If you want a doula that you can trust and find inconditjonal support in, work with Kaely!

Kaely was so incredibly helpful from the moment we began her childbirth class all the way through having our baby (and her assistance postpartum was a life saver). She is extremely kind, educated, passionate, and professional. She answered every question we had, no matter how small. It was so comforting as new parents to go into our birthing experience feeling empowered by knowing all our options from her childbirth education class. Her comfort measures the week leading up to childbirth were extremely helpful with my prodromal labor. She was truly our advocate throughout the whole process from prenatal through postpartum. We couldn’t recommend her more, she was a joy to work with!

Kaely was a phenomenally supportive, helpful, and informative doula, and I would hire her 1000x over again. Her support navigating a labor and delivery with many twists and turns was absolutely priceless, as was her help postpartum to process that challenging journey.

We first met Kaely as the instructor of our childbirth education class, where we witnessed her immense knowledge and down-to-earth demeanor. During the course and after we hired her, she provided evidence-based information and resources to empower us to make the best decisions for our circumstances. Kaely is easy to talk to. She answered all our big and small questions and supported our family’s goals without judgment. In the final weeks of pregnancy, she checked in on us regularly and made our family feel deeply cared for even though we had only just met. Kaely’s clients are much more than just numbers to her.

During labor, Kaely did not hesitate to roll up her sleeves and dive in to support me physically and mentally in too many ways to name. Kaely was extremely attentive, often anticipating whatever I needed before I could even ask, whether comfort techniques during contractions or a drink and a hair tie. We also greatly appreciated Kaely’s instruction and support to my spouse to help him help me, and to check in on his needs. She worked seamlessly with the medical team, enabling her to anticipate how she could support me through new developments. She stayed to coach me through our first breastfeeding effort and was just a text away to help with breastfeeding challenges in the early weeks postpartum. Another invaluable service Kaely provided for my mental health was an after-action conversation to help us process and start to come to terms with a very tumultuous labor and delivery that proceeded very differently than what we had hoped.

All that to say, hire Kaely. You will not regret it!

I can not imagine navigating my labor and delivery without Kaely.

She was knowledgable and effective while also being caring and supportive.  From our first meeting, she was an absolute professional.  She supported my husband and I by providing resources, posing questions, and staying in constant contact even after COVID turned the world upside down.  Kaely's commitment showed that she cared.

During labor, she made sure our desires became reality.  We had no idea how important it would be to have another person in the room that was solely focused on supporting us.  We were lucky to have Kaely to take on this role.

We whole-heartedly recommend Kaely and her doula services.

We could not recommend Kaely more highly! She was extremely supportive, knowledgeable and a very understanding person. We hired Kaely a few weeks prior to our due date, but she made each day count! Her services helped both of us feel more confident, well-informed, and overall well-prepared for our labor and delivery as first time parents. She was willing to work with us on every request we had, and she was super understanding of our situation. We will definitely recommend Kaely to our friends, family or anyone else looking for a doula.

Kaely was our doula during a very uncertain time, as COVID was reaching peak levels and hospital policies were changing daily. I'm so thankful she was able to be in the delivery room with me!! Even though my husband was also with me, neither of us would have known the techniques for physically and mentally getting through labor. Kaely was very attentive, supportive, and encouraging. Her care for me and my husband included two at-home visits where she walked us through a detailed birth plan, stretches to induce labor, and comfort techniques during labor. For weeks after my delivery she checked in on us and provided tons of resources for nursing when I was having issues. Having a good doula like Kaely helped make my delivery and postpartum period more calm and peaceful than they otherwise would have been. Cannot recommend her more highly!!

Hiring Kaely was the absolute best thing we did to prepare for the birth of our baby. As first time parents, we had a lot of questions and insecurities about the process that she helped us navigate. She’s super knowledgeable, supportive and easy going. We were on the fence about hiring a doula, but now I don’t know what I would’ve done without her!

Kaely made me feel calm during my second  childbirth experience. While this wasn’t our first child, it was our first time having a child thousands of miles from our family. She was able to support me during labor with pain management techniques and also helped my husband help me so he could be a part of it. She was also extremely helpful in the postpartum period as she gave advice and tips on how to start breastfeeding on  the right foot and how to recover well.

Kaely is a dear friend of mine! She is a wonderful mother, wife, lactation consultant and doula! You may wonder how a dear friend might function as a labor and delivery doula, I don't think many people could do this well at all, too many dynamics at plat... but, NOT so for KAELY! She was all that my husband and I didn't know we needed- a calm comforter, supporter, cheerleader and advocate (and photographer!) I had been laboring at home most of the day and after checking in with Kaely throughout the day, letting her know my progress, and just as we'd planned, she came over to my house in the evening and helped me through the later stages of labor, packing up the car and making the 30 minute drive with my husband and I to the hospital. When we arrived I was 7 cm dilated. Kaely helped to relieve the pressure of contractions, keep me comfortable while stuck to the monitor and warded off the unhelpful nurses when they couldn't believe I wouldn't have an IV, didn't want another cervical exam and refused to lie on my back. She didn't flinch when a contraction got a little intense and I got a little loud in her ear as she supported me :) She was a huge help to my husband so he could focus on the baby and me. I could go on and on. She is so easy to talk to, has a huge heart, loves what she does and knows her stuff! She is wise, she knows when and how to advocate, she is a treasure and I recommend her to anyone I know looking for a doula!
