My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about utilizing Ashli as our doula for the birth of our baby. She actually willingly stepped in to assist in our labor last minute within 24 hours notice after my mommy intuition told me that the doula we were initially going to utilize wasn't who I wanted in the room with us at such a vulnerable time. Ashli showed up for us in the wee hours of the night/early morning  and provided such a calm and reassuring presence at just the right time. We highly recommend her!!

Ashli is a wonderful and attentive doula! Both my husband and I can attest to her ability and knowledge. From the beginning of our time together through labor Ashli was informative, caring, and helped me tackle all of the questions and challenges that came along with a first pregnancy. She was available for me whenever I needed to talk or had questions, even in the middle of the night. Looking back her presence at our daughters birth brought me assurance, confidence and ease. Ashli was essential for my natural birth and supported all of my decisions.  She helped things move along during labor; encouraging me, providing manual techniques and positional support. She waited on me hand and foot, advocated and communicated with the nurses and midwife in the hospital. I can’t imagine going through labor pains, half asleep without having such a knowledgeable advocate by my side. I recommend her highly.

My husband and I are transplants to Louisville. When we found out we were pregnant in a city with no family, I knew I would need support. We interviewed three doulas and Ashli was the clear and obvious choice. Ashli is personable and has a wealth of knowledge. She was always available to me and made our experience easier. She wa great with checking in and I know I couldn't have delivered my healthy baby girl without her. You won't be disappointed.

Working with Ashli was a great experience. I was hesitant to get a doula due to me viewing it as another expense associated with being pregnant and birthing. Although it was an expense, it was well worth it. Ashli is friendly, empathetic, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Even with Covid, she offered to attend an appointment with me to help me get my needs met. She listened to my needs and expectations and worked to meet with those. Most importantly, to me, she helped me to advocate for myself and my babies. I would highly recommend hiring Ashli as a doula if you're considering it.

Ashli is truly an amazing doula and person! I originally contacted her in spring 2019 to be my doula when I became pregnant for the first time. Unfortunately, I ended up losing the pregnancy before we could begin working together in a foul client relationship.

Fast forward to fall 2019 Ashli reaches out to me to check on me, encourage me and let me know I was in her thoughts and prayers. This was really special and meant A LOT to me since we had only spoken a few times prior to, and several months had past. This really set Ashli a part in my eyes from other doulas because even though we had not worked together she still cared for me as a person.

So, when I became pregnant in winter of 2019 I knew exactly who I wanted as my doula! I reached out and she was excited to have the opportunity to work with me again.  She was amazing throughout the journey. Ashli was very genuine, careful and considerate of safety for my family and hers as well with the new concerns with covid. She was personable and easy to talk to! She checked in with me frequently and was always readily available if I need to talk or had any questions or concerns. She continual provided me with resources through each trimester that proved to be very helpful.

She was unable to be present for my birth due to being out of town for a family matter. However, her coordination with the back-up doula was impeccable and provided a very smooth transition for my birthing experience and doula care. Ashli continually checked in with the back-up doula via text and FaceTime  while I was in labor. She also followed up with me postpartum to make sure myself, husband and our new addition were doing well and if we needed anything from her further. I cannot speak more highly of Ashli, her doula services and just as an individual as well! If you want a knowledgeable doula, who truly cares for the birthing person and spouse/family unit look no further than Ashli!

Ashli was my doula for my homebirth for my second pregnancy. She was amazingly supportive and encouraging, especially when I was afraid that I would be risked out of the homebirth due to gestational diabetes. She promised to be there no matter where we birthed and constantly was offering words of advice and encourement for me to stick to my very strick diet and focus on the end goal. My actual labor was fairly quick, only 5 hours. Although I had not been in labor long and did not technically meet the 4-1-1 criteria for active labor, Ashli simply asked, "Do you want me there?" As my answer was yes, she made her way to our home immediately and baby was born 30 mins later! While I was past the point of verbally communicating my needs, Ashli was very intuitive and helped me into the birth pool and poured warm water on my back and made me laugh with light humor mixed in with her encouragement.  I would a million times over recommend Ashli to anyone looking for a doula. She is, simply put, awesome.

Ashli is VERY VERY sweet! We met on such a short notice but it felt like I’ve known her forever. She’s very compassionate, understanding, encouraging, attentive all around a GREAT person. I wouldn’t have made it natural that long without her support. She’s up for anything that YOU want to do paying attention to your body cues & breathing. Also she’s really good with massages lol I can’t thank Ashli enough it was a great experience something I would do again :)

Ashli is very sweet. The whole process was delightful. We met at Starbucks to discuss my birth plan. I decided to go natural and she was all for whatever I wanted. Ashli's encouraging words helped in so many ways. We talked abt having a vision and keeping focus of that vacation vision to help ease through contractions. We discussed the different oils she would use to massage me to counteract the contraction pain and talked about some experiences with my 1st child. When it came time to give birth she was available and came as soon as she could. She kept her word with bringing oils and the heavenly hands she has to give massages, she played ocean vibe music to help distract my mind from contraction pain, and was always coaching me through as the pain got more intense. I did not get an epidural because I didn't think it would work as it didn't with my first child and everything Ashli said she would do she did it exceptionally. After birth she stayed to make sure everything was fine. We talked abt how calm my body was to where I didn't tear and I think that had to do with her sensitive words of telling me, "You can do this" "You're doing a great job" helped me mentally so my body could physically do it. It wasn't easy going natural but with Ashli's help it was definitely worth it. She is awesome !!

Ashli was my doula for my first pregnancy. During our initial consultation she made my husband and I feel like family. She attended my prenatal appointment as well as guided me to the right resources for other pregnancy and postpartum care like prenatal yoga and breastfeeding support groups, especially for moms and new moms in the black community. Labor and delivery was an amazing experience. I have a lot of anxiety with pain and her techniques helped me get through labor with less pain management from medication. Ashli is very personable, respectful, and is all about the importance of your care, and your baby’s care before, during, and after labor. If i am blessed to go through childbirth again I would love for her to be my doula again!

Ashli has a sweet and comforting spirit. She is a joy to be around and I am so glad she atteneded my birth! Though she was not my main doula, she assisted and I loved having her there! She also took some amazing photos for me. Anyone would be lucky to have her at their birth because she truly respects the sacredness of birth. THANK YOU ASHLI !!!
