Michelle is outstanding. While she wasn't lucky enough to be on shift for my wife's labour, I'm sure she would have done a fantastic job if she was. I say this because my wife and I were able to develop a relationship with both her and her doula partner, Heather during the pregnancy. We were confident that no matter who we ended up with, we would be in good hands.

Michelle is gentle and compassionate and she brought a very empathetic and comforting presence to all of our meetings. Even though she wasn't there for the birth, we knew that she was only a call or text away if we needed help during the pregnancy, and postpartum phase.

The fact that Michelle is also a massage therapist is awesome. Definitely a huge benefit when my wife needed some work done during the pregnancy.

I can't say enough good things about the Michelle + Heather doula team. I could ramble on for hours...and definitely have done so to all of our friends and family.

Thank you so much for everything, Michelle. Hopefully you draw the winning number when we come calling for baby number two!

What a lovely person Michelle is and an amazing Doula! It was super amazing to have her part of my birth team. Not only was she amazing at answering all my inquiries and sending me research, but as a bonus she also does Massage! That was super helpful for me during my pregnancy. She helped me advocate for my wants and needs, and was amazing support the day of Birth. I gained such confidence that day with such amazing support! Thank you Michelle for being amazing! For a first time experience with a  Doula, Michelle is amazing and I can’t wait to have her part of my team for the next little one ??

I cannot thank Michelle enough for the exceptional support and care she provided our family during the postpartum period. From the moment she arrived, we felt an immediate sense of relief and support.

Michelle would watch over our newborn son, allowing my wife to get the rest and recovery she needed during the day. She was attentive, gentle, and nurturing, and went above and beyond to ensure his needs were met.

In addition to watching our newborn son, she would also ensure our home was in order. She helped with dishes, laundry, and tidying up, which allowed us to focus on our family during those times and not stress about these daily tasks.

Michelle would also watch over our older son. She spent time playing with him, engaging him in age-appropriate activities, and ensuring he was entertained and cared for while we tended to our newborn.

Overall, I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. She was a calming and reassuring presence in our home and provided exceptional support to our family during a crucial time. Her kindness, expertise, and professionalism are truly unmatched, and we feel so grateful to have had her support during this special time.

Thank you so much for everything you did for our family. We are forever grateful for your care and support.

Michelle is an amazing doula! She attended our birth at home for our first child, and her calm approach and reassurance made a world of difference in my coping with labour. I really do not believe we could have done it without her! Michelle and her partner Heather were also generous with their time in the two prenatal visits and were available 24/7 for any questions we had. Postpartum, Michelle did an additional visit for breastfeeding support, which was so incredibly helpful. Of the midwives and nurses we spoke to, she was the first to discover what was going wrong with latching and showed us a way to fix it. She also helped baby and I to learn to sidelay for breastfeeding - such a game changer when you are sore after delivery. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to any person looking for a doula for support in their birthing experience, for their postpartum recovery, or both!

Michelle is absolutely amazing! She feels like a special part of our family after everything she gave to us during our incredible journey of bringing our son into this world.

Her kindness, compassion, support and knowledge were remarkable and our experience was enriched because of her involvement. She is truly wonderful and if we are able to have a second child I would love for her to be a part of our adventure again!

Her doula "services" - although so much more than that - are well worth it.

We feel so fortunate to have had Michelle with us through the birth process. From the early stages of meeting with us to prepare and inform of what’s to come all the way to checking in postpartum, Michelle’s calm and attentive demeanour was so appreciated.

Her hands on approach and coaching through labour made for a comfortable and supportive environment for both my husband and I, and allowed us to advocate for the birth that we wanted.

We worked with Michelle for both of our births (2019 and 2022). For both births, Michelle ensured we felt prepared and was available to answer any questions we may have had leading up to the big day. During labour, Michelle was nothing short of amazing! Her compassion, coaching, and hands on approach helped me more than I can say. She helped my husband as well so he knew how he could best support me throughout. Michelle made sure we always knew what our options were, and helped us see the pros and cons in every decision we made. Her hands on techniques during contractions were amazing, and the way she coached me to breathe and relax during contractions made a world of difference. Michelle was continually preparing us for what came next, so nothing was a surprise. I cannot say enough about how valuable Michelle was during our births. We're not sure if #3 is in the cards, but if it is, we know Michelle would be a must!

Michelle impressed my husband and I from the very first meeting with her obvious passion towards her profession.
She is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful.

During our prenatal visits, Michelle helped us feel comfortable with the birth process and helped us understand how she could best support us. She provided us with different scenarios and insightful information about the birthing process. My husband and I were then able to use that information to discuss our values and preferences. She helped us understand what can come up during labour and delivery and how we can best advocate for ourselves.

During my pregnancy, Michelle was always available to answer questions- night or day.

It was such a blessing to have her be a part of our journey

Having Michelle as our doula was the best decision we could have made! Without her presence and expertise, we would never have accomplished the homebirth we were planning. She was right there with me through my entire labour, offering reassurance, encouragement and motivation. Alongside my husband, she coached me through the hardest moments and her guidance kept both my husband and I focussed and calm. Her experience as a doula, mom and massage therapist made me feel like I was in incredibly capable and knowledgable hands, allowing me to trust the entire process. On top of that, her sweet and lovely nature is a delight to be around and I can honestly say that thanks to Michelle, our birth experience was truly amazing!

Michelle provided me and my family with postpartum support for both of our sons. She was a wonderful source of support both times. She is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on all things baby. I completely trusted her with both my newborn boys, she was so great with taking care of them and soothing them when they were fussy. And a bonus, she is also great with dogs! I would not hesitate to recommend Michelle as a postpartum doula for your family.

Michelle was our doula for the labour and birth of our second son. I immediately connected with her warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. She is so passionate and caring, and I could tell right away she really cared about working with families to help achieve the experience they hope for. I also appreciated that she was supportive of any path you felt was the right one to take. Leading up to delivery we met twice and talked about our hopes, preferences, and questions. This really helped me feel comfortable and prepared.

Michelle was great at keeping in touch leading up to delivery. I ended up needing to be induced. She was there right from the start. She was so good at helping me keep calm and focused. Her knowledge of massage and pressure points to help with contractions was AMAZING, it helped so much. She was a support in every single way. Delivery was extremely fast and took me by surprise which was scary. She helped me stay calm and focused and encouraged me. She also was a great support for my husband and they worked together so well.

After our little man was born Michelle was right there helping me rest, hydrate, eat, and breastfeed. Her breastfeeding knowledge and support was extremely helpful, as even though I’d done it before I couldn’t even think straight, let alone remember what to do! She made sure we felt comfortable and settled before leaving the hospital.

Michelle continued to follow up and support us once we were home too. I really appreciated her quick and thorough responses to any questions or concerns I had. She helped me feel better in times of doubt, and celebrated our victories with us.

I don’t know what we would have done without Michelle by our side. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated her knowledge and support. She is amazing, and anyone is lucky to have her support through the wildest ride of life! Thank you Michelle <3
