We had an amazing experience with Brianna as our birth and postpartum doula. She was always available to answer any questions we had and reached out to check on us on a regular basis postpartum. When I went into labor, she was there with us to labor at home and help foster a positive birthing experience. Her support continued when we went to the hospital. After the birth of our son, she continued to be an incredible resource and friend. We highly recommend her services!

I'm not even sure I have the words to express how grateful I am to Brianna. She was there for me during the hardest time in my life, I had a pregnancy that came with nonstop morning (all day) sickness, anemia, plus an injury that had me on bed rest for 3 weeks during my third trimester - and then an early baby at 38 weeks after having been in early labor for two weeks prior. Brianna was there for it all and supported me and my partner to the point where we consider her family. We took her childbirth education classes, which gave us confidence in understanding what goes into labor and delivery as well as care for babies once they're born - but most importantly, she taught us how to advocate for ourselves. I felt empowered going into L&D, even if it was earlier than planned, thanks to Brianna! She is so knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have to give you peace of mind. She was there for the birth of my son and helped me so much through my labor, including when my birth plan changed and I needed an epidural. She provided so much comfort and was such a grounding presence during the biggest and best moment of my life! Beyond supporting my labor, she provided postpartum care that was ESSENTIAL for getting through the first three months of my baby's life. She helped us navigate troubles with breastfeeding - and didn't judge when I had to stop! When we were at our wit's end as new parents, Brianna was there to support and uplift us and was so validating in helping me navigate all of the physical and emotional changes that come with recovering from giving birth. She is also WONDERFUL with babies and an excellent auntie to my sweet little boy! I cannot express just how grateful I am to Brianna for getting me through my third trimester, labor, and the first three months of my son's life. I truly couldn't have done it without her!

Our time with Brianna was nothing short of special, important, and wholesome. Her consistent positive attitude, and ability to jump in and help with what was needed made all the difference in our household those first eight weeks postpartum. After delivering my baby, I got sad thinking I would likely not spend as much time with my newborn as I did with my firstborn. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. With Brianna's help, I slept in and cuddled my newborn, while rest assured that my toddler was safe, taken care of and having the most fun. Her bond with my two year-old was so sweet and I could tell a positive difference in his development from having her around. All in all a wonderful experience!

I reached out to Brianna only about 2 months before the birth of my second baby. My husband and I had worked with a doula in-person during the pandemic so we were generally familiar about what to expect. For our second, we realized we needed a refresher on labor and decision making post labor, but were short on time and very busy with our then 2 year old. Brianna was able to create a virtual two hour session that felt tailored to our needs and helped us reflect on what worked the last time and get clear on what we needed to do this time. The reflective questions she gave us were so helpful not just for prepping for birth but also for our relationship and for helping my husband lock in and prepare mentally. We successfully labored at home and appropriately timed our travel to the hospital thanks to Brianna’s guidance. When I arrived, I was 7cm! The tools she gave us regarding self advocacy are priceless and actually lifesaving. I used these tools when advocating that I didn’t need an induction on my due date, and I used them again during my birthing experience. My baby was very large, over 9 lbs, and I unexpectedly hemorrhaged as a result. Even in this scary situation, my partner and I felt calm and clear about how we needed to evaluate risk, communicate with providers, and give consent for timely treatment. Thank you so much Brianna for the time and care you put into what you do. We appreciate you and fully recommend your refresher course to other expecting parents, and I also recommend that both parents participate if possible since it helped us so much.

Brianna has been the absolute best! I am beyond grateful for all of her support wisdom and adivce during those early postpartum weeks. Being a first time mom, there was so much I was unsure of from Lucy's health to breastfeeding to even the recovery of my own body. In such a vulnerable time, Brianna met me with so much compassion and care. Whether it was responding to one of my million questions during our sessions, or encouraging me to reach out to our pediatrican or my doctor when something didn't feel right, or sending me links and rescourses to help me figure out my breastfeeding journey. Brianna is incredible, and helped me ease into motherhood, when everything was feeling more like a crash landing. She is an amazing postpartum doula, and I truly beleive working with her was a major reason why I was able to do a good bit of healing and growing during those early postpartum weeks. I cannot say enough about Brianna, and her approach to care as a doula. She brings her whole self gentle and caring and truly listens and helps guide while giving me the space to make decisions as to what would work best for my family. And in those momoments where I was anxious or worried, she not only reassued me, but helped me navigate those complicated feelings. in ways that was true to who I am and where I was. She treated as a whole person, cared deeply and showed up in ways that were so meannful and impactful for our family. I am forever grateful for Brianna and the time she spent with us. I cannot reccomend her enough!

Working with Brianna for virtual postpartum planning and support was such a wonderful experience for our family! Her calm and gentle demeanor were just what this anxiety-prone first time mama needed.

Brianna's expertise is expansive, but even more important was her responsiveness to our family's priorities and values. She took our individual circumstances into account and adjusted her recommendations accordingly, serving as both a resource and a partner with us.

My only wish was that we lived closer to Brianna so that we could have taken advantage of the in-person services that she offers. We cannot recommend her highly enough to other families!

I am so grateful to have met Brianna, and had a wonderful experience with her as my doula for virtual prenatal support, childbirth education, the postpartum and infant care class, birth and postpartum support. It was especially important for me to find the right support, as this was my first pregnancy, and unfortunately, I had lost my mom back in 2017, which meant I wouldn't have my mom around for guidance and support. From the first phone call with Brianna, she shared her knowledge around pregnancy, and offered the utmost compassion for all of the different symptoms that pregnancy brought. She offered encouragement and reassured me when I shared various fears and anxieties that I had around pregnancy and giving birth. The best part of my journey with Brianna was having her at the hospital with me while I was in labor. She remained by my side for alomost 18 hours while I was in labor before I was whisked away for an emergency c-section, and stayed at the hospital until my surgery was over to check on me and my husband. Her support is unrelenting, and her knowledge about pregnancy, birth and postpartum is evidence-based, which helped settle so much of my anxiety. Working with Brianna was like going through pregnancy with a friend, and it seemed like her level of support only grew during postpartum, as she supported me through the many physical and emotional changes that I experienced. She also connected with my husband in a way that encouraged him to be an active participant through this process, and a more reliable and supportive partner on this journey. I highly recommend Brianna for all of your doula needs. She is an amazing human being, and is an expert in her field.

Brianna is wonderful. I worked with her both before pregnancy and postpartum. She is relatable, kind, and a good listener. She was flexible with scheduling and easy to work with. The information she provided made me feel comfortable and empowered.

We had the great fortune of having Brianna as our postpartum Doula after the birth of our daughter. Brianna’s calm and confident presence was exactly what we needed to get us started on a good foot with our newborn. We had read so many books and taken classes but having a knowledgeable and patient guide to help us troubleshoot all of the new skills was priceless. Brianna offered a large menu of potential ways to support us in each visit. She coached us in swaddling, soothing, nourishing foods and self care for mama, as well as how to give baby’s first bath (which was surprisingly scary for me!!). Brianna also helped navigate breastfeeding issues and sleep safety. My favorite service was Brianna’s amazing massages with coconut oil, SO appreciated in this recovery time. She also taught us a lovely gentle baby massage that was very calming for our little girl and that we have kept as a ritual to this day. Where family support can be great it can also come with a lot of complicated factors, with Brianna I felt I was able to receive support tailored to my needs and preferences which helped me find and practice my own parenting style under the safety of her warm wise guidance. I highly recommend Brianna for a support at any point in your pregnancy, birth, parenting journey!

As Brianna and I do not live in the same location, I was initially disappointed that I would not be able to take full advantage of all of her childbirth and postpartum services in preparation for my first child. However, when Covid-19 hit and my local childbirth class was cancelled, I turned to Brianna to inquire whether she had virtual childbirth classes. And thankfully, she did!

Brianna went above and beyond for me in our virtual childbirth classes. We were able to easily video call and her power point slides were full of pertinant information but simple and easy to understand. For stretches or positions normally shown in a face-to-face class, Brianna was able to recreate them over the video call or in some instances took photos with her own family to demonstrate. She walked me through the different stages of labour and what to expect at all times. She really put me at ease for giving birth in general, but especially during a global pandemic.

Brianna also took me through a virtual postpartum course which was very beneficial. Oftentimes everyone focuses on childbirth but not the mammoth undertaking of bringing the baby home from the hospital. Brianna calmed all of my fears about caring for  the baby and myself during those first few days and weeks at home.

Brianna is extremely knowledgable in all things childbirth and postpartum and while she asked whether I had any questions every single step of the way, she also had very clear answers for each question.

To anyone looking to take a childbirth/postpartum class or hire a postpartum doula, I would highly recommend Brianna! She is knowlegable, relatable and compassionate - three qualities which are undoubtedly needed as one begins their journey into motherhood.

Brianna was made to do this work. She takes this call to heart, and her passion permeates her every interaction with her clients. I had worked as a caregiver and teacher for several years and thought I was ready for parenthood, and quickly realized how uncertain I was and how little I knew. Brianna was completely nonjudgmental and shared her knowledge in a way that didn't make me feel inadequate.

Brianna also handled our son with great care and respect. It was easy to tell that she was not only knowledgeable in how to care for infants, but that doing so made her joyous, and that she finds purpose in caring for children and their parents. Brianna also took great precautions with us during the COVID-19 rise, moving to online services when the schools around us closed and minimizing her outings between sessions to protect our family.

My marriage was good when our baby was born, but it strengthened after a few couples sessions with Brianna. She used her training, information she gleaned from research, and personal experience to lead my husband and me through activities. My husband and I rediscovered our friendship, and growing closer together has strengthened our joint parenting skill.

The activities she brought to our sessions were fun, informative, and unique. My husband and I made our first vision board together, guided by Brianna's questions about our future, passions, creative goals, and hopes as parents. We've also been able to see how we can still enjoy our passions with our son, not in spite of having him, but because we can share our passions with him.

Brianna is fun, humorous, relatable, creative, and an indispensable resource. Her knowledge is holistic, fresh, and reliable. Brianna is the doula that every mother should have, whether she's a first time mother or has other children, and we are eager to continue our friendship with Brianna after this wonderful experience.

Brianna was such an amazing comfort for me after the birth of my 2nd baby. I was pretty nervous as to how I would handle becoming a family of 4 and having Brianna help me through the process was undeniably priceless. She is so warm and positive and continuously made sure I knew I was doing a good job. My biggest concern was how I was going to feed my family with a newborn in tow and she kept us all very well fed for weeks with so many delicious freezer meals! Brianna helped me troubleshoot countless feeding and sleep issues and having her through that really helped me to stay positive and know that I was being a good mom. As a doula myself, I know the benefits of postpartum support and Brianna exceeded all of my expectations and more. Anyone would be lucky to have Brianna by their side when bringing their little one into the world! She will be there for you through everything with her warmth and compassion and you will not regret working with her! Run, don’t walk, to have Brianna as your postpartum doula!!

Brianna supported me for two months after the birth of my second child. Working with her was the best decision I made for myself during the postpartum period! I could not have asked for a better doula. Brianna essentially took care of our entire family, helping us maneuver through the tricky and exhausting transition from one to two kids. She was proactive, organized and has in-depth knowledge about newborn and maternal care. Because of Brianna, I was able to squeeze in some much-needed rest, keep my sanity in check and spend more quality time with my baby. She was incredibly well-rounded in her care and really paid attention to how I was doing both mentally and physically- she asked insightful questions, provided many helpful tips, gave great pep talks, and did everything with such warmth and kindness. Thank you so much, Brianna! You have left a lasting impression on our family!

Brianna was a supportive, kind and informed doula who really helped me in the post birthing process. She has a great demeanor and is very personable, and is able to navigate the sensitive post-partum world with ease. She always checked in on me and asked questions, making me felt heard and supported. It was really nice to have an objective outsider around, especially since families can sometimes be overwhelming- she understood these delicate things very well and was a welcome presence in our home. I will always remember my times with her and recommend her highly!

Working with Brianna was an absolute dream. Brianna came to our home and did an infant care class with by husband and me, as well as 5 post-partum sessions. The infant care class helped us feel prepared to bring our son home by arming us with knowledge of all of the basics of caring for a newborn. Both of us had very little experience with babies being the first on each side of our families to have children. Brianna approached all of the material in a way that made it fun, easy to follow and absorb. I also really appreciated that she created an open environment in which I felt I could ask any questions I needed, even if they might have seemed a bit obvious or, dare I say, stupid. As she says, there are no stupid questions! After the class, I felt prepared with a good foundation of information, but also confident to take on the surprise challenges of a newborn.

The post-partum sessions with Brianna were also beyond helpful. I always looked forward to her arrival and she was great at surveying the apartment and jumping in to do things that needed to get done, without me even asking. She was an endless source of information and resources for everything we needed - and even things we didn't know we needed! She arrived at each session with a smile, a hug and a calming, yet enthusastic nature. I had a difficult recovery from my C-section and Brianna was sensitive of this. She was fantastic with my baby and made the first couple of weeks with our newborn that much easier. n just five short sessions, she became a friend and even part of the family.

I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone who is considering a doula or infant care education. You will be so glad you let her into your home, heart and lives!

When I met Brianna, I immediately felt comfortable around her. She helped us for 5 weeks following the birth of our first child. I had a c-section with no family around to help. Recovery was tough and I would not have been up and about so quickly without Brianna's visits. She was a very positive, caring female presence in a time when I needed it the most.

She provided advice, listened to my daily woes with a non-judgmental ear, helped with household chores and cooked nutritious food. When she left after each visit – our home was tidy, I had eaten and caught up on drinking water and most importantly I had a renewed sense of confidence that I was going to be okay and our baby was doing well. I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for a post-partum doula.

Brianna Burton is definitely a one-of-a-kind doula. She goes above and beyond her job description to make sure you feel cared for, supported, and informed with many resources to help fertilize your minds in your new transition of parenthood. She is definitely one that does not look into this career for the money, but genuinely has a deep passion to cultivate new families and see mothers supported and nurtured the way babies are and can be. I would recommend Brianna as a Post partum doula to every single mother without hesitation. I believe every mother would benefit greatly in hiring a doula-- especially a doula like Brianna!

I would like to start by saying that there are not enough great things I can say about Brianna. Not only is she caring and compassionate, she is also thoughtful and intelligent. She is always prepared for the session with information and resources for extra support, if needed.

When our wedding anniversary arrived, she was able to handle my newborn and toddler confidently enough that my husband and I were able to have a wonderful date night. Brianna was prepared with arts and crafts materials for my daughter and my daughter had a great time! For this alone, we would have been forever grateful.

Brianna also encourages and helps us to use her time wisely. Sometimes, it is hard to know what you need when you’re feeling tired and frazzled all the time. Brianna will assess the situation and make suggestions as needed. She also provides references to resources that might be helpful and is always on the lookout for other helpful things in the area.

The thing I love most about Brianna is her compassion. She understands how hard it can be with a baby. I had an emotional meltdown at one of her sessions and she listened to me vent and work through what I needed to work through. She was not only sympathetic, but more importantly, not judgmental. She often lets me chatter on and on and I really appreciate her allowing me to the opportunity to have an adult conversation.

Brianna was a calm, loving presence in our chaotic life and was a grounding, pragmatic influence. We are so lucky to have had her in our lives.
