I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Bre as our doula. I had an amazing and beautiful birth after a stressful pregnancy and attribute much of my positive experience to Bre’s presence. She was so supportive, communicative, and empowering. She is also extremely generous with her time and goes above and beyond to support her clients! Bre helped us to understand what to expect weeks before our labor, supported us immensely during labor, and was a great resource to help navigate breastfeeding following our delivery and during a postpartum visit. While I never had an official “delivery plan,” I knew I wanted to get as far as I could before requesting and epidural and Bre supported me in achieving this goal.  Bre’s knowledge of the labor process, pain management techniques, and calming demeanor helped me to stay centered during contractions and is a huge reason why I was able to get to almost 10 cm before requesting an epidural. She has a wonderful way of encouraging the birth partner (in my case, my husband) to participate in the labor in a way that feels authentic and not forced. She had a positive impact on our entire family. I have so much gratitude for Bre and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a doula.

We cannot recommend Breana enough. We chose her based on her experience helping clients with VBACs, since we attempted one. During the prenatal appointments, Breana was a great resource for things parents can do to prepare and maximize chances of a successful VBAC (such as pelvic physical therapy). She also took the time to understand our experience with the birth of our first child and coached us through ways we could improve the experience the second time.

When labor began, she joined us at our home and coached us through early labor, helping with suggestions for positions and techniques that helped with pain management and ways to get involved. She also kept track of contraction duration and timing, so we didn't have to, and let us know when it was time to go to the hospital. It was amazing having her to guide us through the experience, rather than trying to keep track of everything and make all the decisions ourselves. There's absolutely zero way we would have been able to pull off even half of this.

When we got to the hospital, she was helpful in getting us where we needed to go, answering the nurses' questions, and advocating for us through some tough situations. She ended up staying with us for 24+ hours straight.

She also has been a great resource for breastfeeding, and we really appreciate how she does a 3 hour postnatal visit at your house. We used the time to shower and sleep. It was so nice to have this support right after the birth.

What sets Breana apart is her calming, intuitive presence. She carefully took in the situation and provided what we needed (be it handing me a drink or providing information on what was coming next). She didn't ask a lot of questions, which helped Mom stay in the moment and cope with contractions. Her calming presence and guidance was essential for me being able to cope with the pain and even relax into it. We believe this made all the difference in recovery.

Breana was a dream to work with! She was super communicative, offered excellent holistic resources, and checked in regularly. At the hospital, she was incredible to have around - offering assistance where she could and just being an emotional support. I could not imagine experiencing childbirth without her there!

During the first few minutes of interviewing Breana, I knew she was a perfect fit for us! Working with Breana is easily one of the best parenting decisions we've made so far. Breana has been so supportive and helpful throughout my pregnancy and postpartum period. During my pregnancy, Breana met with us for a consultation and then followed up with a variety of information to help us create a birth plan, prepare for the last few weeks of pregnancy, and manage the early newborn days. She is incredibly knowledgable, understanding, and insightful! We had a fairly long and complicated labor process that Breana guided us through with great advice and a calming presence. Postpartum, we relied heavily on Breana's expertise as we navigated those sleepless early days. She built our confidence, calmed our anxieties, and comforted both the baby and us. She guided us through feedings, naps, first bath, and doctors visits, and provided invaluable advice regarding postpartum recovery and mental health. Going way beyond her contracted services, Breana also introduced us to a community of other (new) parents of newborns. Even after completing the 'fourth trimester', we still peridoically reach out to Breana for support. My partner and I are so grateful for the bond we have with Breana and we enthusiastically recommend her!

My partner and I worked with Breana in preparation for, and during, the birth of our daughter.  We cannot speak highly enough of Breana, who is one of the most patient, warm, and supportive individuals we have met.  Leading up to the birth, our prenatal appointments were extremely informative and helpful in educating us about birth, our options for birth preferences, labor/delivery/what to expect in a hospital setting, and lactation and postpartum education. Breana also regularly checked in with us regarding how my pregnancy was going, how each of us was feeling both physically and emotionally, and how we as a couple were managing in anticipating on this new milestone.  She was always available, responsive, and eager to share resources with us to help us feel empowered and educated in planning our birth.  While our labor did not go as we had hoped for (we ended up requiring a medical induction and ultimately a c-section) Breana was with us through each step of these difficult decisions, offering us emotional and physical care, helping us think through our choices, and supporting us in advocating for ourselves with our medical team.  Since our daughter was born, Breana has continued to be a resource for us, and has demonstrated how much she cares about us not only as clients but as people in her life.  We are grateful for her and can recommend her with highest regards to anyone looking for doula support!

My husband and I decided to have a doula because we wanted to be sure to have someone to represent our interests in the delivery room and a familiar face to guide us through the birthing process. We hired Bre because of her calm and friendly presence. Through the end of my pregnancy, Bre made sure we understood medical procedures and terms and made sure we understood all the options available to us. When I went into labor, I was happy to have Bre come and labor with me at home. She observed my labor and timed her suggestion to go to the hospital perfectly. While there, Bre supported me in labor with her whole mind and body, and I never felt unattended. My birth experience was pretty much everything I wanted, and Bre's presence contributed greatly to that. My husband and I are so happy we hired her, and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Bre was such an integral aspect of my labor and delivery going well. I can't say enough about her. She was very generous with her time before and after the birth, including in-person get togethers as well as staying connected by text. During the birth she attended to me exactly per my wishes. She's positive, knowledgable, and definitely a calming presence. We were so pleased we have had her do postpartem doula work many times. I would highly recommend her, and have to other friends already.

Bre was amazing to work with, right from the start. She helped us think through our birth preferences in the last weeks of my pregnancy which helped me feel much more prepared and empowered going into the birth. As my due date came and went, she checked in and provided support and suggestions - even walking around Green Lake with me! And at the birth, she was attentive, knowlegable, and supportive. My birth didn't go as planned (do they ever?) but having her there with me, reminding me of my options and physically helping me through each step of the journey helped make it a positive experience nonetheless. Post-partum, she has been so wonderful - checking in, helping with everything from baby care to cleaning up, and bringing resources and other help along the way. We had been on the fence about hiring a doula at first and I am so glad we decided to do it, and that Bre was the one to help us bring our little one into the world. I can't recommend her highly enough!

We hired Breana to be our doula about a week or so before our baby girl decided to come two weeks early!:). This meant that Breana had to jump in and support me during labor and birth after having known me and my husband for a very short time.  That didn’t seem to matter.  She was amazingly flexible and supportive and the best doula we could have asked for.  Her presence during the birth process was extremely reassuring.  She was calm and encouraging.  She supported my husband in supporting me.  She helped me stick to my birth plan of an un medicated vaginal birth by using pain relieving techniques and helping me breathe and focus through each contraction. And when it came time for baby to be born, I swear she helped usher her out rubbing my belly and offering soothing words to my baby girl.

We have also appreciated Breana’s post partum care.  I had no idea recovery would be so long and difficult, but she gave me lots of tips and advice to take care of myself while also taking care of my baby during our post partum meetings.  I thank Breana for helping my family come to fruition!  She will always be one of the most positive parts of the journey to parenthood.

I love Bre! Where do I start?! Honestly, I’m so thankful to have Bre as my birth doula. She made my birth experience so amazing and unforgettable. She was the perfect doula to have by my side and I can’t imagine my birth playing out as perfect as it did if I had someone else. I had a natural water birth and it was my first baby. It was the hardest thing I had to do!! Bre was so patient and caring. She did everything I needed her to do and more. Her gentle presence and calm energy makes her the perfect doula. It’s like she has this gift that makes her know what you need or want without you even having to tell her. Cause when you’re going through that labor pain you don’t feel like talking or saying too much!! She just guesses it. I love how knowledgeable she is and you can tell she really cares about her work. She is really there for YOU during labor and delivery. And even after birth. If I have another baby in the future I will hope Bre can be my doula again! Definitely will ask her to be. I’ve been telling everybody I know to consider getting a doula because I can honestly say my birth was perfect. I recommend Bre.
