We worked with Dina for the birth of our first child in July and had such a positive experience! In the months leading up to the birth, Dina was incredibly responsive and supportive. She made time to connect with us anytime we had questions and had great recommendations and resources to help us prepare for the birth.

When my contractions began, Dina was a great sounding board for level setting where I was, providing guidance on pain management, and serving as a gut check on what I was doing/when we'd head to the hospital. It was a relief to have someone so knowledgeable on hand.

Once in the hospital, Dina was a great advocate between the hospital staff and us, and very proactive with keeping me moving to new positions to help labor move along. She was a great presence in the room and she helped me stay calm through the whole process. Once I was fully effaced and dialated, Dina helped coach me through how to push with an epidural and I felt much more confident when it was time to push. Dina was right there with me and my husband helping until our baby was born.  Dina stayed with us about an hour after the baby was born to make sure we were settled and I was in a good place. It meant a lot to have someone focusing on me and my recovery (physical and mental) while a lot of the attention was on our baby.

Overall, we had a great experience with Dina and I'd highly recommend working with her!

Having Dina as my birth doula was an experience above and beyond my expectations! Dina is patient, straightforward, kind, approcheable and confident. I credit Dina's support, coaching and work with me during labor for the smooth experience I had. Baby was not engaging for a long time and possibly in a bad position. However, with Dina's help with positions, etc. we were able to get baby aligned for a fast delivery. Dina is a great advocate when it comes to medical decisions big and small. She checks in on the birth parent as well as the non-birth parent to ensure that nothing is missed in the experience. Everyone should be as lucky to have the support of a birth doula like Dina!

We had such an incredible experience with Dina! This was our first child, and I had a lot of nerves about the entire labor and delivery process. Dina was wonderful at providing us with plenty of resources and info leading up to L&D to help prepare and soothe anxiety. She was very open and responsive to answer questions or just talk from the moment we hired her and well after delivery. Her knowledge and skill was evident in every interaction.

Labor snuck up on me, and I ended up barreling into the hospital fully effaced and dilated and ready to push. The pushing stage ended up being the most challenging part for me (~3 hours), and Dina was able to get to the hospital right when I needed her. I was starting to struggle with fatigue and feeling discouraged, and she truly turned things around when she arrived. She came in, politely greeted the staff, and came right to my side and immediately established a connection with me and started coaching in exactly the way I needed (and the rest of the room). I honestly don't think I would have been able to push that baby out without her support. My husband has even commented that when she arrived there was a clear shift, and that's when things really started progressing.

She stayed with us for about an hour after the delivery and made her delicious after birth "cocktail." It was really comforting to have a familiar face there after the main event, and that "cocktail" really gave me some life back so I could be present and enjoy the golden hour. The postpartum visit was also helpful in that I got a chance to ask questions and recap the experience with her.

Overall, my experience with Dina was truly exceptionall. If we decide to have another child, I will absolutely be hiring Dina again.

We had a great experience with Dina and she was so helpful for my labor! We ended up having a great birth experience and Dina was such a great resource to help me cope through transition and the pushing phase and she was soooo helpful with getting me feeling human again immediately post-delivery! It was wonderful having her 1:1 support for me in the immediate recovery phase while my other care providers were focused on the delivery of the placenta, etc and caring for my baby.

If you’re planning to birth in a hospital, Dina immediately established great rapport with the nurses and my midwife and she integrated into the care team easily.

Also, and this seems like a small detail but it ended up being such a gift, but Dina took pictures and videos at the moment of delivery and our first minutes together as a family and I’m so glad she was there to capture those moments!

Doula Dina was awesome! She accompanied me and my husband as I gave birth to my daughter.  I was induced and she arrive right around when active labor started.  She helped get me into lots of different positions for contractions, she realized I was trying to push before I did, so she got the doctor to see if I was ready.  My husband had been skeptical of the idea of a doula beforehand, but at the end he said he understood and was very glad Dina was there.

Dina was a fabulous resource and coach for the birth of my daughter.  I appreciated her information on wellness and postpartum recovery.  She advocated for me in the hospital and had enormous credibility with the nursing staff.  I recommend her for any first time moms and older moms like me!  A+++

She really cares about her clients and her communications are timely and informative.  Superb lactation advice which helped me with breastfeeding.

We had a wonderful experience with Dina as our birth Doula. She was actually a last minute back up when our first Doula contracted Covid and was unable to be present. Dina was incredibly warm and responsive with us and provided all of the care and support we needed. Dina was even there for us post birth and stepped in with some post partum lactation assistance.
??????????We recommend Dina  100% AND it seems like all of her other clients do as well, she is in high demand!

Dina was a last minute (literally) stand in Doula for us during our second labor--and she was a gift. Our usual Doula is a dear friend now and we were all set up to have a familiar experience in the delivery room, especially with the Covid restrictions. But we went into labor nearly two weeks early and our Doula arranged for Dina to step in as she was with another mum-to-be. Such a sudden shift can add to the increasing stress levels and be discomforting, but Dina was superb from start to finish. She is positive, friendly, experienced, social, and engaging. She especially suited our style by being tactile, hands on, and confident. It is no exaggeration to say that Dina significantly enhanced the calmness of our entire experience and we would not hesitate to reccommend her to you and your family.

Dina was my doula for the birth of our first-born in January 2022. My original doula was battling the lingering effects of Covid, so Dina was called in as her replacement. My husband and I had not met Dina beforehand, but we were so blessed for having her guide us through this unique life experience. As it turned out, she was the perfect match for us.

It was very important to me to try to give birth naturally. I was in labor for 23 hours with back labor only, so that pain was at a higher level of discomfort than I had anticipated.

After laboring at home for the first 12 hours, Dina joined us for another four hours before going to the hospital. It was such a relief to have Dina at home with us and in the hospital. Dina did her utmost to make me as comfortable as possible, by employing various positions and techniques to alleviate my discomfort, while coaching me through each contraction.

Dina was very familiar with my birth plan and made sure the hospital staff adhered to it as well. Although my labor was long and very painful, I managed to give birth naturally without any pain management or medical interventions. There is no way I would have been able to do that if it wasn’t for Dina. She was my guiding light throughout the entire time and I placed all my trust in her. While the nursing staff at the hospital was very professional, the nurses were not there to coach me through labor. They checked in on me once in a while, but the active labor management came solely from Dina.

Dina is the most wonderful doula you could wish for. She is very grounded, caring and steadfast in her support for you. Hiring a doula was the number one best item we spent money on in getting ready for baby. Both my husband and I give Dina our highest recommendation and, without question, would seek her services again.

Dina helped me get through labor and delivery with my first baby, and I couldn't have asked for a better support partner for me and my husband.  Her calming, maternal presence was reassuring to us both during a time that was stressful.  Dina helped me get through labor until I was fully dilated without an epidural.  She was our advocate, offered us many labor soothing techniques and was very responsive and worked well with our nurses.  Dina paid attention to every detail, wiping my sweaty brow and giving me water so I stayed hydrated.  I would recommend her to any new mother and am ever thankful that she was part of my labor and delivery experience!

Dina came into our life and assisted with my first birth like a guardian angel. She had an encouraging prescense and smile that my husband and I so very much appreciated. And wow does she love babies, it really helped my confidence after the birth, when I was handed my new screaming baby, to look over and see Dina’s joy. Her strong and maternal demeanor was such a comfort to us as nervous confused first-time parents to be.

It’s hard to even put in words how empowering our birth experience was, in the end. Dina was a crucial part of the team and worked seamlessly with my husband, ob-gyn and nurses. She quickly responded to any requests I had and was always anticipating what I would need. She made me feel like a rockstar!
