Where do I begin?! This was Juana's 2nd time around assisting me from conception to birth and I would have had it no other way! This time around I was 10yrs older but also 10yrs wiser and knew she had to be on my "dream team" as we definitely called it! She and my fiance were the only ones in the delivery room this go round and it was such a beautiful experience! Again, from the first convo of, okay Juana, we're reasy to try, to the first cry, she was there! The prayers, the knowledge, the confidence and the value she carries through this pregnancy is nothing short of a gift. She truly is walking and working in her gift from God and she has yet another chapter in our book of life! We are forever grateful and proud to have had her by our sides and wish the same presence and aaaistance on anyone else walking down this journey of expanding your family! Juana does not play! She mimics you and your energy and if you want to have a beautiful pregnancy and labor and delivery, she will be there to make sure you have just that! We never questioned her, we felt educated to make our own informed decisions and we had the reaukta to back it up!  We labored at home for the majority of time, (as we wanted to and previously discussed) but when we got on the phone n she saw my face, she just calmly said, "okay, I need you guys to head to the hospital"! It was so calm, it makes me smile to this day, because not once did she invoke fear or worry; as we were 5 weeks early! But we were ready! With her expertise, she shared with me later that God had already told her the baby would come early! How special is that?! Her and my fiancé's voice and touch coached me to meeting our son literally an hour and change after arriving from the hospital! It was so beautiful and we literally were in an answered prayer at each step!

I had the honor to have this wonderful,sweet, patient,loving doula without her i dont know how i would of done it . She guided me thru so many options i didnt even know i had to have a sucessful labor guided me all my pregnancy, labor and postpartum i call her my angel i love her dearly i fully recommend her for any new mommies you guys will love her and she will forever be a huge part of my and baby lu life so proud of you juana love laura

Having a doula for my home birth was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Chosing the perfect doula is so crucial and their energy has to be in tune with yours. They not only provide support and advocate for you, but they have to align with your values and respect your birth plan. It takes a special type of person and Juana was for sure made for this profesion. She is passionate, reliable, professional, personable, informative, patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and just a great human being. She was with me from beginning to end throughout my pregnancy and the day I brought my baby earthside. The day I gave birth she arrived before my two midwives and guided me on different stretches and exercises to get things moving along and when it came time for pushing she did counter pressure on my hips that helped so much with my contractions. She also said many words of encouragement and suggested different positions to help make pushing easier. After I gave birth she helped me with breastfeeding and checked on me multiple times after she left. Juana was emotionally present, helpful and everything I needed her to be on such an important and intimate moment. I will forever be thankful for her and when I have my 2nd baby I will definitely chose her again.

I met Juana at The Birth Place which I was going to for my prenatal care. She gave me a tour of the facility with such a warm & welcoming demeanor. After multiple visits I believe we were having a conversation & she informed me that she was a doula. At the time I had no idea what a doula was but once I did my research I knew I needed to have her there for the birth of my daughter. Everytime I saw her she was always so happy & joyful too see me & I loved just engaging in conversation with her while waiting to be seen. Fast forward to the birth of my daughter. We were set on achieving a VBAC. I was headed to the hospital & Juana was not far behind. Funny enough she ended up having another mommy delivering at the same hospital. Regardless of the situation she made sure to be there for the both of us. Unfortunately I wasn't able to achieve a VBAC but that didn't stop Juana from still being there every step of the way. Fast forward to 5 months after having my daughter I unfortunately was not able to get in contact with her due to the pandemic. I was thinking about her & one day decided to email her with the hopes of speaking again. Of course she immediately responded & called me & we talked like we never left off. Since then she's been someone I can talk to about anything. She always makes sure to tell me to "Fill Up My Cup First". I am so very blessed to have someone help me bring my daughter into this world & eventually become someone I can call a life long friend. If you have had or get to have the pleasure of having her in your life it will be the best thing you've ever experienced. She has truly fulfilled the calling that she's been given.

My experience with Juana for my home birth was amazing. She was patient, encourging, and positive. I was lucky to use her as a doula for both of my births. Juana was knowledgeable and used different techniques to get me through labor. The care that she gave me was geninue and loving. She would even take turns with my husband to watch our toddler daughter so he could support me as well. I was truly blessed to have met Juana and to have her during my birthing experience. Any birthing mama who gets her will be amazed and loved by her.

My pregnancy and delivery experience was amazing!!! Juana has given me an amazing amount of confidence that I never knew I had n I'm so thankful for her. She never made me feel like any of my questions were dumb, or simple, or unnecessary. She always made it clear that she was only a text or call away.. When I first told her I was pregnant, she made sure I was on my vitamins, checked on me, made sure I was comfortable with what new changes were going on with my body, and also fussed at me when I had an occasional soda, but of course with good reason! With guidance from Juana, I chose to do the au natural! Not knowing the pain, or what to expect being a first time mommy, but she made me feel like I could do anything! The morning of my birth, it also just so happened to be Juana's husbands birthday! Texting me through my contractions, telling me to get my butt to the hospital, and always taking time to tell me how proud of me she was and Tht ones doing a great job! Which we all need to hear at That moment! Fast forwarding to my delivery, my family was there, and I was grateful, but going through contractions with no medicine, they were bit distracting. Juana was there through it all, talkin to the nurse for me, calming me down, keeping peace in the delivery room, and coaching me through my breathing all at the same time.. Something I thought that was rather amazing was while breathing, and going through that "ring of fire" moment, I for a few seconds lost it and lost control of my breathing.. Juana was right there n helped me gain control back and a few seconds later, I had finally laid my eyes on my little Demi!! She was there from about 1pm to 9pm. She did not leave until my precious baby girl was born, n safe in my arms. Even after the delivery, she called and texted and came by to see us, making sure Demi was latching and feeding, and also making sure I was taking care of me, eating n getting rest.
