Our family's experience with Danielle was wonderful! You can tell from interacting with her that she is truly a very nurturing and caring individual. She offered excellent expertise on newborn care and breastfeeding when needed and was always professional. Her communication was clear and open, she checked in on everyone's needs at every shift, and she did a great job of balancing competiting priorities while still being attentive to mom and baby. We hired her to help with our second born but she was also great with our toddler who also loved her. The only downside we could say is that we wish we could have had even more time with her but we are happy that there will be other families who will benefit from her care!

Danielle supported us during our first week as parents. She was there to answer any questions we had. We felt complete trust in handing our newborn in her care. With her help we were abe to rest and prevent exhaustion and depression. We are forever grateful for her support during this vulnerable time.

Danielle was an absolute LIFE SAVER!

As a new first time mother, I had no idea just how exhausting everything would be. Danielle was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She offered extensive advice and helped me with numerous different obstacles I faced with my baby, constantly encouraging me and reminding me that we are both new and doing a great job. She interacted great with my daughter and made me feel comfortable leaving her with Danielle and taking time to care for myself. I can't say enough good things about her!

Danielle was very helpful when my daughter came home from the hospital after a c-section delivery.

She was professional and a good communicator. Her knowledge was very valuabe to my daughter being a new mother

She provided guidance and care that helped my daughter to settle in as a new mother

I recommend Danielle for post care at home

We hired Danielle after the birth of our third baby, and I'm so glad we did. Her skill and care with the baby, our two older children, and supporting me postpartum was excellent and really helped me through the transition of those early days. Danielle is prompt, professional, and helpful in many ways- from taking the initiative to empty the sink, to troubleshooting sleep and other postpartum concerns. My two older kids looked forward to her coming by greatly. In our society I think many moms don't have the support needed in our personal networks to thrive postpartum... that's where Danielle comes in! Thanks from our entire family.

Danielle was our doula for about 5 weeks after the birth of our Eleanor. Although baby arrived 2 came home. My husband and I immediately felt at ease with Danielle and we enjoyed getting to know her and having her here through each week. Danielle was essential to helping us navigate feeding schedules in order to help Eleanor gain weight per doctor’s orders, including advice on understanding newborn sleep patterns (or, rather, the lack thereof!). Danielle was a huge help in watching Eleanor so that my husband and I could nap during the day, as well as holding her while we handled other tasks. Danielle showed me how to assemble and use my new breast pump and gave expert advice on breastfeeding positions, latch, etc. She also assisted with household tasks like washing the breast pump parts and other dishes, organizing changing table items/diapers, bringing me snacks and filling my water cup, and breaking down the numerous boxes that come with ordering baby items. Danielle helped put together the stroller and other items we had not had time to prepare before baby’s birth. I would highly recommend Danielle’s services to any new mothers/families of newborns, as my husband and I found her help to be essential to getting to know our new baby and how best to adjust. As a first-time mom, I really don’t know how I would have done it without Danielle!

Danielle always made us feel comfortable and she was so patient and knowledgeable.  As first-time parents, she gave us guidance and reassurance every step of the way.  She supported us in making many first-time things exciting (and not nerve wracking), such as giving a bath and a bottle. She was so kind and professional with our baby and with us and we immediately felt at ease and thankful to have her in our home.  We are so grateful for her and feel so much more confident now that we started off our parenting journey with her support!

Danielle was our postpartum doula for our first baby in March 2022. I had spoken to Danielle while I was pregnant and found her personality and expertise reassuring. Danielle came to our house the first full day we were home from the hospital. For the next two months, Danielle came 3 times a week and she was incredibly helpful. From rocking our daughter to sleep, to playing with her during tummy time, letting us nap/shower/run errands, to teaching me about breastfeeding and pumping, to helping us through the fussiest of days, to setting up bathtime and doing baby laundry, Danielle was an indispensable part of our first few months of parenthood. I highly recommend her to anyone who is considering her!

Working with Danielle was truly a pleasure. It can be strange to have someone in your home during some very intimate moments but we all felt very comfortable with Danielle from the start. She was tremendously helpful as we navigated our new normal morning routine with our twin newborns and toddler. Some mornings she ended up playing with our son as we got his things for school ready and him out the door. She was always so patient trying to get the girls down to nap and many times did it all on her own while we tended to our toddler who desperately needed that extra bit of attention from us. We got to know Danielle over her weeks with us and she was such a pleasure to be around. Her help during those weeks  with washing bottles, bathing the girls, rocking them to sleep, letting me sleep, was huge! I would recommend her to any family in need of some help postpartum!

Danielle worked with my family several times when our postpartum doula was unavailable. On her first day with us, I got some news about my baby's health (baby is fine now!) that I struggled with. She was so supportive and helped me process it. She was great with my baby and I recommend her wholeheartedly!

Thanks to Danielle, my baby boy is growing and thriving!
Since I was not able to breastfeed my first son, I was eager but also a little nervous to try breastfeeding my second one.  In addition to my history, delivering a baby during a pandemic was nerve-wracking and it didn’t help my anxiety.  However, I had a successful and beautiful experience exclusively breastfeeding him with tremendous support from Danielle.  She responded patiently to multiple anxious questions and gave me precise advice.  Not only is she knowledgeable and articulate, but she also is a huge advocate for us, breastfeeding mothers and babies.  She understands the challenges of breastfeeding and respects our individual needs.  I truly appreciated her encouragement and how she helped me figure out a way that worked for us.  I can’t thank Danielle enough for her passion, dedication, and knowledge of breastfeeding!

Danielle was the reason I was able to stay sane in the first couple of days after coming home from the hospital. I know everyone throws around the term "baby whisperer" but that is truly what she is. A baby whisperer, a lifesaver, and an angel. She was able to soothe my son to sleep and keep him asleep through the night while I got as much rest as I could. He also refused (and to this day still refuses) to take a bottle and she was and is the ONLY person who could get him to drink a full 3 ounces from a bottle in 30 minutes. Other people have tried and the most he'll drink is 1 ounce from a bottle...and that's after some struggle/tears. I still don't know how she did it. She saved me from going insane as I was able to shower, brush my teeth, do household chores, or just sleep. She has a kind demeanor and will put you at ease as soon as you meet her. I was really worried at having a stranger in my home immediately after I came from the hospital, but she assuaged my fears (and wasn't judgemental about it either!) I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you're looking for postpartum support and need some shut eye, contact Danielle.

Danielle was a wonderful doula. She is warm, knowledgeable, and very supportive. She's great company to have around and can help around the house, care for the the baby while you shower or nap, and she can teach some newborn basic care. She's very knowledgeable about breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle feeding. I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Danielle.  She is knowledgable and caring and has been amazing with our infant son.  We have worked with several care providers and she is one of the absolute best.

We hired Danielle after the birth of our second baby to help us get some much-needed sleep.  We knew we didn't want a night nurse or someone who would provide a lot of guidance about how we should be doing things or convincing us we needed to sleep train our baby.  We wanted a compassionate, non-judgmental caretaker who would follow our lead as parents while helping get our son to sleep.  Danielle fit the bill perfectly.  She was extremely patient with our son, who was often gassy, difficult to soothe, and would take a long time to fall asleep.  She kept a detailed log of his night and emailed it in the morning so we would know his patterns.  Very importantly, she didn't judge our parenting style or provide input we weren't looking for.  She was extremely unobtrusive, which we really appreciated.  As soon as she would arrive, I felt comfortable handing our son off to her because I knew he was in good hands.  Danielle's knowledge and her calming demeanor would be an asset to new and experienced parents alike struggling in the postpartum period.

Danielle came to stay overnight with me and my daughter seven nights over the course of four weeks when my daughter was just a few days old to four weeks. I am a first-time, single mom. I had some nursing issues early on and was having to wake up every 2-3 hours to pump and nurse. I was very exhausted when she first came to us. Danielle was loving to my daughter, supportive of me, professional and generous with recommendations. She was instrumental to our first few weeks. I highly recommend her.

Danielle is awesome!

We hired Danielle during the first week postpartum at home because my daughter was having trouble latching. Because of the latching issues, the pediatrician at the hospital initially had us start off with formula feeding while pumping to maintain supply. I definitely wanted to breastfeed, so we hired Danielle to guide us through it. I continued to work part time through my whole pregnancy and postpartum period, so I also needed to make sure I would have enough milk supply for the days I would be at work.

Danielle came to our apartment and talked us through all of it— proper latching, breastfeeding positions, pumping, milk storage etc. We were able to transition to breastfeeding exclusively within a few days.

And Danielle made it easy! I felt very comfortable as we “practiced” until I felt successful feeding my daughter in different positions and confident that we could do it later on our own. Which we did!

Danielle also guided us through some other basics that were new to us as first time parents. Our daughter was escaping out of all her swaddles, so we got to practice that together until we felt confident our little master escape artist baby would be swaddled safely. I also had a bunch of baby carriers I had received as hand-me-downs that I wanted practice with so Danielle got us going on that as well.

That first week postpartum was challenging for us. Having Danielle’s comforting help and expert guidance on our lactation issues and all those little extras was invaluable.

She is a gem!

Danielle helped us for a few weeks following the birth of our first child in August 2019.

From the moment she arrived Danielle was a calm and reassuring presence in our home. She was patient with all our questions and taught both my husband and I various skills around feeding, sterilisation, bathing and newborn and family care. She was particularly helpful and supportive while I learnt how to breastfeed.

Danielle was always kind and soothing with our baby and we trust Danielle completely with her care.

Our extended family members who also met Danielle commented on her friendly manner and helpful approach.

We would recommend Danielle for all families seeking support from a kind, considerate, knowledgeable and non-judgemental Doula.

Thank you Danielle!

Danielle was a kind and supportive help during our post-partum experience. After having our first child, we had tons of questions and felt like we needed a lot of guidance in taking care of our newborn. Danielle was patient with us and provided the support we needed, which was an ear to listen and share her experiences and knowledge. She also provided specific tips to make breastfeeding more comfortable for me and baby that really helped. We would highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for extra help during this period.

I can't imagine how I would have gotten through the last 16 weeks without Danielle. Becoming a new mom has been the most rewarding yet challenging experiences of my life and Danielle provided me with the support I needed to feel confident in taking care of my baby. Danielle was my biggest champion around breastfeeding and pumping. Danielle put us at ease upon interviewing her and she did so with our son. I can tell that she loves what she does and that's what you want when looking for a doula. Mothers need mothering in order to care for their child and that's what Danielle provides.

I had the pleasure of working with Danielle for more than four months earlier this year. During this period, Danielle provided virtually every kind of child care for my infant daughter, from taking care of the baby overnight to playing with her during the day, and everything in between.

Danielle is honest, open, trustworthy, friendly, and knowledgeable (yet deferential to my style). She is a pleasure to be around and to have in your home, as she knows when to be present and when not.

Most important, Danielle is a terrific doula. She has plenty of experience with newborns and infants so very little fazes her, a trait that is obviously critical when dealing with very young babies.

I trust Danielle implicitly with my daughter at all times and give her our highest and most unqualified recommendation.
