Liz was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for our family and needs. I had a completely unmedicated all natural birth truly because of all the support and positivity Liz provided during labor. She never let me give up, provided lots of options to find relief and bring my baby into this world the way I wanted. If you are considering a doula this is most definitely the one for you!

Liz was great! I am so glad I made an investment in her and I highly recommend her to anyone desiring cheery and active support during labor. She came in just as contractions were getting tough and she jumped right in with all her tricks. She helped me achieve my second vba2c with a stubborn baby who didn't rotate and descend until the very last minute. She never gave up. Her knowledge and persistence of spinning babies is what helped me avoid another c-section.

I cannot thank Liz enough for her services as my Doula for my second birthing experience. After a traumatic first birthing experience that resulted in femoral nerve damage, I had some clear goals for this time around. I wanted an unmedicated birth and to reduce my chances of re-injury. I am one hundred percent confident that I would not have met these goals without Liz. From the first interview, I knew Liz was who I wanted to assist me. She is confident, knowledgeable, kind and she listened to my story and my wishes. Once hired, Liz checked in often, visited twice and then was on call in the weeks leading up to my birth. She is flexible and truly customizes her vast skillset to meet your individual needs and desires. Once she joined us at the hospital, both my husband and I felt a sense of relief. Liz partnered with my husband to offer me the support I needed and I was able to achieve both of my goals for this birth. It was truly a redemptive birthing experience and Liz helped make that happen. Everyone should have a Doula for support, but if you are lucky enough to live in the greater Denver area, Liz is definitely the person you want as your Doula. Thank you Liz! I am forever grateful for you.

Throughout my pregnancy, people would tell me it was best to not have a birth plan or that I'll change my mind about a medication free birth once I'm in labor. Nevertheless, I prepared for my natural birth plan and trusted my body as much as one could. I knew that I had to hire a Doula as I've read the odds of having your birth plan achieved are much higher. As soon as my husband and I met Liz we felt comfortable. She showed us compassion and gave us support even as my pregnancy went until 41 weeks and 3 days. She put my mind at ease and sure enough I went into labor naturally. Liz was by our side offering her incredible support not only to myself, but to my husband. From her empowering words, her calming touch, to her guidance on laboring positions, I truly could not have had my ideal birth experience without her. I am proud of my birth story because of Liz

My husband and I originally considered a Doula based on a humorous suggestion from one of his friends. The recommendation was, “Doulas have been through this process dozens of times before so not only will you get good advice but your wife will have someone other than yourself to yell at during birth.” Our experience with Liz Foster was so much more than this.

We had a few meetings with Liz in the months prior to our birth and she helped us through the details of the birth plan and the multitude of questions we had. Throughout the entire process leading up to the delivery date she stayed in touch and I was able to reach out whenever I needed to with more questions or to seek advice. On the day of our delivery Liz was right there in the room helping me through the birth. From the scented oils, to a cold towel on the back of my neck, to helping me in the moment with my breathing, everything Liz did made my experience better. We were also incredibly impressed with the way she knew exactly what was going on and with the way she worked with the midwives to assist with the birthing process beginning to end.

It was wonderful having Liz as our Doula. I can’t imagine how much more difficult this experience would have been without her. I think the quality of our birth experience can be summed up in saying that after only two short months my husband and I are already discussing when to have our second child. We look forward to having Liz there for the next birth as well.

Liz was an amazing support partner before during and after the birth. We had a very complicated time, and she helped us make the best decisions for our family. She met us with understanding, empathy, and experience, everything we needed as first time parents. I cannot recommend her services enough.

Liz is an amazing Birth Doula who worked with us from the beginning of our pregnancy, to the end. She was available for countless phone calls, texts and emails throughout my entire pregnancy. She was a sounding board, safe haven and invaluable resource. She was a huge help for me and my husband leading up to, during and after our baby's birth. Everything was so much easier because of her. Why hire a doula? Not only do they provide education, support, and resources for pregnancy, birth and babies, but they provide ADVOCACY. It's hard navigating through all the ins and outs of birth, especially when your "plan" goes out the window. They are your biggest advocate. I HIGHLY recommend you get one for your birth if you are *lucky* enough to be in a position to do so.

After a traumatizing previous birth, it was really important to me to have a better birth experience. Liz really helped me prepare for having a successful VBAC in so many ways. During the birth she was there for every step. I know my husband felt more confident having her there as well. I truly believe if she wasn’t there the medical team would have pushed another c-section on me when things seemed like they were not progressing. But she helped get the VBAC and birth that i wanted. Liz is worth her weight in gold. I really wish I hired her for my first birth.

Liz is patient, kind, helpful, funny, and knowledgable. She helped us with the birth of our first child, and we were in such good hands with her. I would definitely recommend. Her presence helped us keep our cool, understand what to expect throughout the day, and made the day that much more memorable. It was so nice to have someone focused on our wellbeing and mental state and who we could turn to with questions and concerns. Thank you Liz!

The Terry family will forever be indebted to Liz's exceptional doula services.  Sometimes, thank you isn't enough; praise is compelled out of gratitude.  Prior to the delivery process, Liz established a repour with my wife Emily and me.  She thouroughly inquired about our birthing requests and gave us informaiton and insight into other aspects that we would encounter during the delivery process.  Moreover, she took the time to clarify any details we requested.

We greatly appreciated her professionalism and geniune respect to our birthing request.  She was prompt to our service when summoned upon to assist.  With a smile and ease in demeanor, Liz entered the delivery room and immediately brought calmness and focus for our next stage in the delivery process.  During each transition, Liz sustained the balance we desired to ensure progression through each delivery challenge.  Complications arose during my wife's placenta delivery and Liz stayed by here side to aide her while juggling immediate needs i had when handling the arrival of our daughter Sienna.

I can't express enough how fortunate anyone would be to have her assist in future birthing experiences.

Liz was AMAZING.  We had a completely natural birth plan prior to delivery but because of late term complications, this all had to go out the window. Liz was an advocate for me and was able to explain everything the doctors were saying had to be done.  She was able to lay out what the process would look like and supported me when I had to make decisions while in significant pain.

She went above and beyond after my delivery when we had complications with the placenta.  She literally stood by my side, held my hand, and coached me through the ongoing painful removal of my placenta.  She was also very supportive to my husband when he needed reassurance as well.

I honestly cannot imagine this experience without Liz's help.  She was a calming presence in the room and I felt like she was 100% on my side with my interests always coming first.  I would recommend her to anyone and have been telling everyone I know about how wonderful she was.  When I look back on my experience, though nothing went the way we originally wanted it to, I feel she is the sole reason I reflect on it positively.  THANK YOU SO MUCH LIZ!!!
