Liz was there for each step of the way to welcome our first baby, from preparing us during pregnancy to answering the 1 am call that my water broke to encouraging us across the finish line during delivery. Her good spirits and experience made laboring that much lighter, and I'm purely convinced it wouldn't have gone half as smoothly without her. Thank you, Liz!

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Liz for our first pregnancy, and we were so grateful for her and all her knowledge and guidance. Liz was a terrific resource, and we enjoyed working with her.

10/10 recommend Liz if your looking for a Doula. I was looking for someone with a maternal, comfortable, safe feeling and that's exactly what I got. Her full package is worth it ! I was aiming for an all natural un medicated birth which I was successful with. I loved the placenta encapsulation, and Bengkung belly binding postpartum. During labor she gave so much support emotionally, physically by pushing on my hips and showing my husband how to, she decorated my hospital room for a calm environment, and provided other tools of pain management. I strongly believe because all these were implemented I had a fast successful first time birth ! I will definitely be using her again if we decide to have another kid. ??

Absolutely loved working with Liz throughout my pregnancy. She is a positive spirit, full of knowledge and support for all of our family. She has helped us make informed decisions and guided us when we needed it the most. Liz has excellent resources and tools that have made this experience so much better! Highly recommended! Thank you

Liz was with us with both of our children; the first was a c-section, and the second, an amazing VBAC! Our son was induced and went into a c-section and Liz was invaluable in helping us process, cope, and move through the process with integrity. With my daughter, she was a necessary pillar in my birth team who advocated for my needs, offered recommendations for therapies, but most importantly, was a steady hand of strength when I needed it most. We got to 10 cm naturally!!!! She then helped me make an informed decision about an epidural and helped me push for 4 additional hours. We had a wonderful, safe and happy VBAC that I still can't believe happened! Not only was she an amazing support for me, but my husband was so grateful for her support throughout as well! Thank you Liz!

Liz is a professional, knowledgeable and kind soul who supported us throughout our pregnancy and labor! She welcomed my long winded emails and texts and always made me feel like I was on the right path in my pregnancy journey.

She provided resources and actually lead me in the right direction for many of the care providers I ended up working with. Thanks to her I had an OB who really honored my wishes and she also helped me find a lactation consultant/precious NICU nurse/postpartum doula to help me navigate life with my twins after they were born.

Her support and care during labor for both me and  my husband was worth its weight in gold. We will forever cherish the special relationship we now share with her and the moments before and after we became twin parents! Thank you, Liz!

Liz was amazing. I had a difficult and traumatic first birth where it felt like I had no agency in the process, so working with a doula the second time around was a must. I'm so glad I found Liz. She helped me work through some of my issues with my last birth and build up my confidence for this one. She provided so many resources and so much advice and was available to answer questions. After just a few weeks of talking to Liz and using some of the resources she recommended, I felt extremely calm and confident going into this birth. During my actual labor, she was the best coach. She helped me find lots of movement to ease discomfort and we were able to find some good positions to turn my baby (who wasn't facing the right way when labor started). She made sure I had what I needed at all times and was a great source of strength and comfort during the transition stage. When it finally came time to push, my baby came out so fast that if Liz hadn't had the foresight to run into the hall and grab a nurse, there would have been no one to catch my baby! If I have another child I will definitely work with Liz again - she was a friend, a coach, and a great resource. With her help I was able to have a really empowering natural birth, which is both exactly what I wanted and (the empowering part especially) exactly what I needed to find some closure after my last birth. I am forever grateful to her. I would 100% recommend any mom reach out to her.

My husband and I couldn't recommend Liz more! As new parents she was there for us before the birth, and an absolute God sent when the labor exceeded 24hr (husband needed a break!) and the pushing was close to 4hr. It was an absolute blur but Liz also took photos for me to look back on ????. We felt safe, cared for and glad to know that we had another advocate for us in the room. I hope you select Liz to be your doula, she is amazing!

Liz was incredible!! We loved working with her. I really don’t know how we could’ve gone through pregnancy and the birth without her. We are first time parents and she helped put our minds at ease with all of our questions, recommending classes / support groups for labor & breastfeeding, all of the home remedies to help prepare for labor, and came over postpartum to check in on us and make sure we are okay and that everything was going smoothly :) We highly recommend Liz and will definitely be referring all of our friends to her and will be reaching out to her for support with any future pregnancies. Thank you so much Liz!!! We appreciate you so much :)

As a first time mom, I was incredibly nervous about child birth, but thanks to Liz, both me and my husband felt incredibly confident and empowered on the day of my delivery. Liz provided us with invaluable support and guidance every step of the way. At the hospital, she provided us with tools and encouragement, as well as advocated for us in a professional and respectful manner. Words cannot express how thankful our family is for Liz!

The best advice anyone gave me during my pregnancy was to hire a doula, and I am so glad I did and that it was Liz. She was a phenomenal resource throughout my pregnancy and critical to getting me through labor and delivery. I was seeking an unmedicated experience, and Liz helped guide me through. She knew when to change things up and what to tell me to help me keep going. My husband and I are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone.

Liz is an amazing doula! She was instrumental in helping me achieve a VBAC after a very traumatic labor and delivery with my son three years ago. She kept me calm during the birthing process and even had a pump in her bag of tricks so that we could firm up the birthing ball at the hospital! If I ever decide to get pregnant again, I will definitely be wanting her assistance again!

Liz is absolutely amazing! I had a rough birth though it started out so promising. Liz was guiding me through the contractions, reminding me when to breathe and how to breathe, calmly reciting affirmations to me to help keep me grounded, and keeping the overall vibe/atmosphere exactly the way I'd always envisioned, calm and accepting. When it got too intense for me to handle, she calmly and without judgement reminded me that it is no failure to divert from the birth plan and because of that I was able to make the best possible decision for me despite my mind not being on track in those moments. It was my first birth, it could have easily been very traumatizing, and I'm so grateful Liz was there.

My husband and I hired Liz as our doula for the preparation and birth of our first baby. She is the most caring, knowledgable, and dedicated person, which made her the perfect fit. She listened to all of our questions and concerns and really got to know us in order to help make the experience everything we wanted. She provided numerous resources and educational materials that were extremely helpful. We talked about our birth plan/preferences so we were all on the same page, and she was always reassuring when talking about other scenarios. I had a hospital birth, and my goal was to labor as long as possible before opting for an epidural in order for the baby to descend quicker. Liz had the most calm guidance, and pulled out all the stops to get me to where I wanted to be. When I finally got the epidural, I was already at 8cm, and there is no way I would have gotten there without Liz. She was also extremely helpful for my husband, who she helped guide with tools that helped me at the same time. Overall, I would 100% recommend Liz for doula services. My incredible experience would have not been the same without her and I am forever grateful!

I truly cannot recommend Liz enough! She recently provided support for my husband and I on the birth of our first child. We wanted an unmedicated birth and knew we would need all the support we could get. We were so lucky to find Liz! She was an incredible resource for us even before my birthing time as she provided suggestions and recommendations for getting labor started and talked through benefits and risks of various options (such as induction, sweeping membranes, etc.). Although we didn’t end up with exactly the birth we had hoped for, Liz’s support was invaluable. She seriously had EVERY trick up her sleeve (or in her bag!) and was quick to jump in with exactly what I needed at the time. She was a huge advocate for our birth plan and provided encouragement when I needed it most. When the time came to make decisions about changes to the birth plan she helped my husband and I talk through all the benefits and risks and feel more confident in our decision. Again, highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a GREAT birth doula!

Liz was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for our family and needs. I had a completely unmedicated all natural birth truly because of all the support and positivity Liz provided during labor. She never let me give up, provided lots of options to find relief and bring my baby into this world the way I wanted. If you are considering a doula this is most definitely the one for you!

Lindsey C

Liz was great! I am so glad I made an investment in her and I highly recommend her to anyone desiring cheery and active support during labor. She came in just as contractions were getting tough and she jumped right in with all her tricks. She helped me achieve my second vba2c with a stubborn baby who didn't rotate and descend until the very last minute. She never gave up. Her knowledge and persistence of spinning babies is what helped me avoid another c-section.

I cannot thank Liz enough for her services as my Doula for my second birthing experience. After a traumatic first birthing experience that resulted in femoral nerve damage, I had some clear goals for this time around. I wanted an unmedicated birth and to reduce my chances of re-injury. I am one hundred percent confident that I would not have met these goals without Liz. From the first interview, I knew Liz was who I wanted to assist me. She is confident, knowledgeable, kind and she listened to my story and my wishes. Once hired, Liz checked in often, visited twice and then was on call in the weeks leading up to my birth. She is flexible and truly customizes her vast skillset to meet your individual needs and desires. Once she joined us at the hospital, both my husband and I felt a sense of relief. Liz partnered with my husband to offer me the support I needed and I was able to achieve both of my goals for this birth. It was truly a redemptive birthing experience and Liz helped make that happen. Everyone should have a Doula for support, but if you are lucky enough to live in the greater Denver area, Liz is definitely the person you want as your Doula. Thank you Liz! I am forever grateful for you.

Throughout my pregnancy, people would tell me it was best to not have a birth plan or that I'll change my mind about a medication free birth once I'm in labor. Nevertheless, I prepared for my natural birth plan and trusted my body as much as one could. I knew that I had to hire a Doula as I've read the odds of having your birth plan achieved are much higher. As soon as my husband and I met Liz we felt comfortable. She showed us compassion and gave us support even as my pregnancy went until 41 weeks and 3 days. She put my mind at ease and sure enough I went into labor naturally. Liz was by our side offering her incredible support not only to myself, but to my husband. From her empowering words, her calming touch, to her guidance on laboring positions, I truly could not have had my ideal birth experience without her. I am proud of my birth story because of Liz

My husband and I originally considered a Doula based on a humorous suggestion from one of his friends. The recommendation was, “Doulas have been through this process dozens of times before so not only will you get good advice but your wife will have someone other than yourself to yell at during birth.” Our experience with Liz Foster was so much more than this.

We had a few meetings with Liz in the months prior to our birth and she helped us through the details of the birth plan and the multitude of questions we had. Throughout the entire process leading up to the delivery date she stayed in touch and I was able to reach out whenever I needed to with more questions or to seek advice. On the day of our delivery Liz was right there in the room helping me through the birth. From the scented oils, to a cold towel on the back of my neck, to helping me in the moment with my breathing, everything Liz did made my experience better. We were also incredibly impressed with the way she knew exactly what was going on and with the way she worked with the midwives to assist with the birthing process beginning to end.

It was wonderful having Liz as our Doula. I can’t imagine how much more difficult this experience would have been without her. I think the quality of our birth experience can be summed up in saying that after only two short months my husband and I are already discussing when to have our second child. We look forward to having Liz there for the next birth as well.

Liz was an amazing support partner before during and after the birth. We had a very complicated time, and she helped us make the best decisions for our family. She met us with understanding, empathy, and experience, everything we needed as first time parents. I cannot recommend her services enough.

Jane Chevalier

Liz is an amazing Birth Doula who worked with us from the beginning of our pregnancy, to the end. She was available for countless phone calls, texts and emails throughout my entire pregnancy. She was a sounding board, safe haven and invaluable resource. She was a huge help for me and my husband leading up to, during and after our baby's birth. Everything was so much easier because of her. Why hire a doula? Not only do they provide education, support, and resources for pregnancy, birth and babies, but they provide ADVOCACY. It's hard navigating through all the ins and outs of birth, especially when your "plan" goes out the window. They are your biggest advocate. I HIGHLY recommend you get one for your birth if you are *lucky* enough to be in a position to do so.

After a traumatizing previous birth, it was really important to me to have a better birth experience. Liz really helped me prepare for having a successful VBAC in so many ways. During the birth she was there for every step. I know my husband felt more confident having her there as well. I truly believe if she wasn’t there the medical team would have pushed another c-section on me when things seemed like they were not progressing. But she helped get the VBAC and birth that i wanted. Liz is worth her weight in gold. I really wish I hired her for my first birth.

Liz is patient, kind, helpful, funny, and knowledgable. She helped us with the birth of our first child, and we were in such good hands with her. I would definitely recommend. Her presence helped us keep our cool, understand what to expect throughout the day, and made the day that much more memorable. It was so nice to have someone focused on our wellbeing and mental state and who we could turn to with questions and concerns. Thank you Liz!

Robert Terry

The Terry family will forever be indebted to Liz's exceptional doula services.  Sometimes, thank you isn't enough; praise is compelled out of gratitude.  Prior to the delivery process, Liz established a repour with my wife Emily and me.  She thouroughly inquired about our birthing requests and gave us informaiton and insight into other aspects that we would encounter during the delivery process.  Moreover, she took the time to clarify any details we requested.

We greatly appreciated her professionalism and geniune respect to our birthing request.  She was prompt to our service when summoned upon to assist.  With a smile and ease in demeanor, Liz entered the delivery room and immediately brought calmness and focus for our next stage in the delivery process.  During each transition, Liz sustained the balance we desired to ensure progression through each delivery challenge.  Complications arose during my wife's placenta delivery and Liz stayed by here side to aide her while juggling immediate needs i had when handling the arrival of our daughter Sienna.

I can't express enough how fortunate anyone would be to have her assist in future birthing experiences.

Liz was AMAZING.  We had a completely natural birth plan prior to delivery but because of late term complications, this all had to go out the window. Liz was an advocate for me and was able to explain everything the doctors were saying had to be done.  She was able to lay out what the process would look like and supported me when I had to make decisions while in significant pain.

She went above and beyond after my delivery when we had complications with the placenta.  She literally stood by my side, held my hand, and coached me through the ongoing painful removal of my placenta.  She was also very supportive to my husband when he needed reassurance as well.

I honestly cannot imagine this experience without Liz's help.  She was a calming presence in the room and I felt like she was 100% on my side with my interests always coming first.  I would recommend her to anyone and have been telling everyone I know about how wonderful she was.  When I look back on my experience, though nothing went the way we originally wanted it to, I feel she is the sole reason I reflect on it positively.  THANK YOU SO MUCH LIZ!!!
