Yve Parkhurst was my doula for both of my daughters' births. She was one of the most valuable pieces to my labor, providing physical and emotional comfort throughout the process. She also provided my birthing partner with tools to be the best partner he could be, showing him how to apply pressure and be a support for my laboring positions. She helped remind my birthing assistant to be mindful of my comfort when I was unable to voice it myself. Her ability to be in tune and read the situation is a huge strength that is so valuable to the work of a doula. I also noticed that her natural ability to organize kept everything running smoothly and everyone at the labor knew their role. The placenta smoothie she whipped together after my labor was delicious and extremely revitalizing. I know that both labors were dream labors and a large part of that is thanks to Yve. I will definitely use her services for future labors and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to have the birth of their dreams.

Yvette was my doula with my first birth, a homebirth to a posterior, stubborn boy. The birth was an entire 25 hours, and Yvette was there with me with high energy every step of the way. She managed my husband, family, and midwife team, not to mention me, with grace and strength. Yvette's strength speaks to the inner woman you need to pull out of yourself at birth, so I wouldn't consider birthing with anyone else!
