I cannot say enough good things about the postpartum doulas from MotheRetreat. We worked with three different doulas throughout our time. From the moment they arrived, they each brought a sense of calm and confidence into our home. Nadine’s expertise in breastfeeding was invaluable especially on our first night home from the hospital when baby still had difficulty latching. Nadine, Alejandra and Allison patiently guided me through the challenges of breastfeeding and helped set me and baby up for success . Alejandra helped us develop good foundation and routine for our baby’s sleep and now our baby has been able to sleep through the night. She offered tips to soothe baby, manage gas and incorporate bottle feedings which allowed me time to rest during the night. On top of all this, Alejandra’s meal preparation was a lifesaver. She prepared delicious, nourishing meals that fueled my recovery and gave me more time to bond with my little one. If you’re considering postpartum doula care, I highly recommend this service. It was one of the best investments we made for our family.

Olga and Myla were my doulas for my labor and delivery of my second baby girl and I couldn’t have done it without them! Olga was also my doula for my first baby girl and I will continue to use MotheRetreat services for any future babies I may have, they are so helpful and knowledgeable and make the experience much less scary or worrisome.

The doulas at MotheRetreat were a gift that were quite literally dropped onto my lap when I needed them most. Olga and Millie were a blessing and so amazing to work with. They were both always available for advice and great advocates for my choices. Olga was always supportive and responsive to all of my questions and her guidance throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum soothed many of my anxieties and empowered me as a first time mom. Millie was a phenomenal force of love and took such great care of me during and after my labor. I genuinely can't thank them enough for being my anchors, advocates, and beacons of love and wisdom on this whirlwind of a journey.

I wanted a doula for my first pregnancy and opted out and regretted it! I knew getting pregnant again that a doula was a must! I interviewed many doulas and MotheRetreat had many options. Since I was having an VBAC and wanted an unmedicated birth I knew I needed someone with experience. Olga was great throughout my labor and was persistent in trying to relieve my back labor. She was supportive a s helped me feel calm during all the hectic things that can happen in labor. She did well in managing my husband anxiety and keeping him focused on supporting me. I would definitely recommend Olga as a doula and MotheRetreat!

Fantastic experience from MotheRetreat. Olga was responsive, listened to my needs and easy to finalize the contract with. My doulas Alex and Nadine were truly outstanding. Professional, caring and they always went above and beyond to take care of the wellbeing of the whole family (meals, home remedies, recommendations for products and mommy and me classes, organizing the nursery). They made the transition to motherhood enjoyable, restful and helped me build new skills for the long term . I miss them already!! Highly recommend

I feel so lucky to have had Olga as my doula. Olga always had a beautiful energy from the first meeting even on video call. It was truly a breath of fresh air. I was extremely confident that I made the right choice with motheretreat. There were issues that came along my pregnancy journey, and Olga was there every step of the way. Although I had change of plans, there was back up that was so wonderful (Taylor) was by my side and advocated for me during my birth, I will always be so so grateful. The amount of knowledge the team has and readiness to serve your family is amazing. I get so emotional when I think about how wonderful my experience was. My closing the birth ceremony was so special. I am able to look back knowing i was fully supported from start to end. Postpartum help was great, I was able to get rest and learn so much from the postpartum team once baby was home I had the extra support that I really needed. I am so grateful in this lifetime to have had this experience with love and healing energy from mothe retreat. Thank you so much ??

Pregnancy was seriously nerve-wracking for me, like, majorly on edge. Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible journey, but the idea of labor? Scary stuff! That's when my friend hit me with the Doula suggestion, and wow, what a game-changer! Finding someone like Olga in our city was like striking gold. I went all out with the labor package, plus postpartum support and even placenta encapsulation - which, by the way, was way cooler and more helpful than I ever expected. Olga totally blew me away, and I'm just beyond grateful for everything she did!

What was my childbirth?
During my chilldbirth I strongly felt comfort, defence, support, understanding and love. All that was due to the team, which accompanied me and became a part of my third birth-experience. The main person of this unique process was Olya. Dear Olya, I’m so happy that there were YOU! I’m so happy that I went through the childbirth with YOU! And I’m so glad to find a person whom I was able to entrust to such an important event in my life! Olya became and will always be the part of my birth story. We all were the real team who had the goal and clear comprehension of birth plan. Everything in my childbirth was to make it beautiful and natural- as high as possible: breathing, right positions, massage techniques, aromatherapy. But the most important of everything was CARE!
Doula is a wonderful and valuable part of our child birthing. They are our tendance and support at all the levels of birth process, at all the levels of our mind.
Be one part with your doula and your childbirth will become clear, calm, confident, sincere and strong.

Thanks God I met and chose Olga! Indeed that choice was very important because it was my first birth and I had a mix of different fears! My pregnancy was rather easy without any difficulties but the day X was very difficult!!It seemed to be endless- 32 hour we were waiting for the meeting with my daughter!! The pain was so strong, I’d never thought that contractions could be so awful!.. Olga was near all the time, she taught me how to breathe, she made me a massage, we even used acupuncture! I had problems with the opening of the uterine neck, so we had to use stimulating medicine, that was why I suffered so long time, but without my doula Olga I could really give up! Of course in the end I was absolutely happy, everything passed away and the reward of my suffering was my wonderful daughter, it’s wonderful! Olga, once again- thank you so much!!!

To choose the doula is like to choose a friend, there must be some kind of connection, because this person together with you will meet your baby coming in our World, it’s a sacral moment. Me and my wife are very glad to find Olga! She is not only qualified, good specialist, but also she has a depth of Natural knowledge, I don’t know how to put it… she feels sacred things and she helps you to understand something magic in giving birth. My wife’s labor day was not ideal, I know she felt pain, but we were in harmony and happy ( thanks to Olga so much!) to meet our third son in our Life!

I am very thankful to doula Olga for her support not only for the birth of my baby, but also for her postnatal help. My labor day was real challenge for me, something was nervous, something very painful! Olga was every minute with me, and we managed to live out all the process without any medicine. She poured cold water on my back and it helped to reduce that awful pain during the contractions. I liked relaxing massage and aromatherapy. I had a lot of questions about the process, and the doctor was not available all the time, but Olga was! She explained to me what was going on, and I calmed down. She managed to her work perfectly!

My son was born a few months ago, but I am still impressed! It was my first birth and it was wonderful even despite the strong pain of contractions. I’m very thankful to my best helper- doula Olga!! My mom’s friend recommended her to me and I trusted to her from the first meeting. We met a few times before my labor day and all the birth process were together. Olga is very sincere and friendly, she has a talent to find essential words which help and support strongly. Doula Olga is very competent in all the issues of birth. The contractions were so long and painful…and I wanted to get something anaesthetize, but Olga made me believe I could live through the pain naturally!. And I DID!! Without any medicine, the birth was absolutely natural! Of course, Olga’s massage was great and it also helped to struggle with the labor pain. Thanks so much to Olga, I will also recommend her to everybody who wants to give birth naturally and happily!

Dear Olga, we are very thankful to you! You helped us to make our dream come true!! You see it was a long and not easy way to have a baby. I had some problems with my health, well, I was full of anxiety and fears. Olga can find an appropriate word to motivate, to inspire! Olya supported me a lot during my postpartum period, so I’m very thankful to her! I had never thought that after birth there would be a lot of difficult and unclear situations! And Olya helped me to overcome these difficulties! She knows what problems need to be solved with other specialists, and has many useful contacts of professional doctors. So many questions I had about breastfeeding! I believe, that this is very useful, invaluable help especially for them who become mum for the first time. There is so much different information and it jumbles, so to have doula with her true informational support- it gives much calm! I know that I can ask for her help at any moment and not to look for the answer in the Internet. Besides all these positive points, Olga pays attention to emotional support, that is very important after childbirth. I delivered my baby-boy on March 10th. It’s a first child and so many questions and doubts had been following me during the pregnancy. No relatives had a chance to support me during the process so I decided to invite Olga to be my doula. Olga met me several times before the delivery to discuss the details and was very kind to come at night when the water broke. She herself took me to the hospital. Since then she spent almost a day with me. Unfortunately the labor was not as easy as I expected and after I realized that wouldn’t do without Olga’s help. She took care of me with a warmest attitude helping each minute on a way and after my son joined me.
I’m really grateful to her for the genuine professionalism and love!

Olga, I am so glad we met! When I was ready to give up (on the way to the hospital) Olga told me to give her a chance for natural pain relief. That is what she did and I cannot believe how much it helped. She became my pain relief and because of her I was able to have a natural birthing experience after 2 previously heavily medicated births.

My baby is almost 4 months old now, so this review is long overdue! She is my 4th baby, so you can imagine that I'm a very busy lady! But, thanks to my wonderful doula Olga, I was able to achieve my 1st completely unmedicated natural birth. I originally had a different doula, but things didn't work out. I'm glad that happened, because I found Olga! We didn't have much time to get to know each other prior to my labor, due to my late decision to look for someone else. But Olga made me feel very comfortable and well cared for, from day one. She made my experience great, and she really took the extra time to get to know me, considering the anticipated short timespan from our 1st meeting to my labor and delivery. She was available to help me with questions and concerns. She gave me good advice to help keep my experience as natural and customized as possible. She helped me to develop and understand my birth plan, and the processes that go with a natural hospital birth. During labor, she was very supportive amd encouraging. She taught me techniques for handling my pain, such as visualizing and using essential oils, which really helped me get through the harder contractions. But most of all, she believed in me and she encouraged and inspired me to believe in myself! She was actively motivating me through all 11 hours of labor, and when things really got tough in the last 45 minutes, she was my own personal cheerleader.  She was right there telling me I could do it, and because of her I DID IT! Without her, I KNOW I would have given up. I highly recommend her! She was referred to me from another doula, and our personalities meshed, so it worked out very well. I would also like to add that Olga still keeps in touch with me! She truly cares about her clients! Thanks again Olga for a wonderful experience! I have fond memories of my special day!
