As a partnership, you get the best of two doula heads. We will meet you for a complementary meet and greet in Brooklyn to make sure we are a good match. Upon hiring, we offer tailored prenatal visits together to get to know one another and help ease any anxiety you might have around your birth day and newborn expectations. One doula will attend your labor and provide support through your birth. Your birth doula will then join you for a postpartum visit to celebrate and reflect how you brought life earthside.
We also offer Breastfeeding Education, Newborn Care and Labor Prep classes.

Kerri was our Doula for our first baby's birth. We didn't know anything about doulas, but she came highly recommended by our community. Delivering with Kerri was by far one of the best decisions we've made, as Kerri was able to provide both emotional and educational support prebirth through postpartum. She continues to be a suportive friend through the early months of being new parents when there were still alot of questions and uncertainty.
Kerri recommended Maggie as a lactation consultant, who immediately became a valuable support through the many challenges I experienced trying to nurse my baby girl. Maggie offered both encouragement, and her expertise to help us figure out some of the issues we were facing with our daughter's inability to latch and the many issues related to learning how to breastfeed.
It was very valuable to have a doula and lactation consultant who work together, and made my husband and I feel comfortable and that we had a team of support. Both of them were always acccesible for questions and follow up visits if needed, which was reassuring. My husband and I felt immediately that we could trust Maggie and Kerri, two warm and loving mothers themselves. We highly recommend working with Milk and Honey Sisters and look forward delivering our future babies with them! <3

I was so nervous about breastfeeding my second child because of a negative experience my first time, but after meeting with Maggie I quickly gained confidence. My husband and I discussed all the problems we had last time and what our goals were. Maggie addressed each concern, and I felt prepared and excited to start my breastfeeding journey differently this time. Maggie came to the hospital the morning after my son was born to help with his latch, then a week later when I had some concerns she came for a home visit to weigh my son and provide more reassurance. She also gave me more support and tips via text and walked me through every little worry. There were times I wanted to give up, but Maggie always made me feel like I was doing a great job and gave me the encouragement I needed to continue through rough patches in the early weeks. Now I'm 6 months in and going strong! I'm so happy I was able to have the bonding experience I wanted with my son.
