Having Sarah as my doula during my first pregnancy is one of the best decisions I ever made. I don't think I would have been as prepared and relatively level headed through my birth experience without her help. She was easily the best support person I had in the room (shhh...don't tell my husband.)
Her post partum care was EVERYTHING. It allowed me to get the most important thing anyone needs after birth.. COMFORTABLE REST! It was so reassuring to know she was there overnight with our new precious bundle of joy.
She was also extremely helpful when my milk came in, total boob saver. ????

Every pregnant mama needs a Sarah in her life! This woman is God-send! After my first birth experience wasn’t anything like I hoped, I made the decision to hire a doula to rewrite the storyline for my second birth. Choosing Sarah to be that person was the best decision I could have made; she was such a vital piece to helping me achieve a redeeming VBAC birth. She has such vast, specialized knowledge for this field that makes her beyond qualified for the job. More importantly, she knows how to apply that education to her clients’ unique situation and tailor it to best suit each individual mama. From the education she armed me with while I was pregnant, to her always accessible support via email or texts, I felt well equip for birth with her by my side. She came to the hospital the night of my foley bulb induction and got us settled for the evening. Mid-morning the next day when the foley came out and I texted her saying I was 6cm, she was quick to arrive back. During EVERY contraction, she was there squeezing my hips helping me ride it out. She suggested new positions to do and new techniques to try during that time. She made sure my birth plan was honored by everyone. She was my advocate. She stood by my side for the 3 hours I pushed, helping me and encouraging me. I truly believe if not for her, I would not have gotten my VBAC! I am forever grateful for everything she did and will hire her again for my next pregnancy without any hesitation!

I am so thankful to have had Sarah as my doula! She was so helpful during labor in suggesting different pain relief techniques, guiding my partner, and knowing different positions to try. But I think the best part was her calm presence and encouraging words through it all. I felt so supported and empowered during my birth, as all women should! And Sarah was a large part of that. Additionally, her prenatal visits were very informative, and her postpartum visits were such a huge help as we adjusted to life with a newborn.

Thank you for helping us for the whole process including the baby sitting as a postpartum care.
Sarah's help was substantial! The best part of her support was in labor and delivery. No doubt. I do not know how it progresses with pain medication but we did that without any pain medication. To accomplish that, the doula's support is essential. Yes, the partner can help mama but most of the time, he is not be able to see the situation objectively and tends to keep providing one pain relief method for several hours which makes him tired and usually the relief effect wears off. By having her with us, my husband could take the situation without getting too tense.

Doula Sarah Doyle was a wonderful person to have when my wife and I had our first born.  Because she was there with us before, during, and after the birth and coaching us every step of the way, we were able to relax and focus in on each other which made the experience even more meaningful and mindful than imagined.  I also felt as a husband that a lot of the pressure was off of me to make decisions, and therefore I could pay more attention to my wife and then my daughter once she was born.   Our daughter's birth was such a  scared experience, and thus our marriage became stronger.  We had Sarah for 2 weeks postpartum at nights from 9pm to 6am which was great because I was able to get adequate rest so I could be full of energy the next day to help with my daughter while my wife caught up on sleep.  We look forward to having Sarah be a part of our next birth!  Dads-to-be, having Sarah is the best gift you can give your wife,  baby, and self.  Trust me!

Doula Sarah Doyle is wonderful.   I had my first baby in fall 2018 and had her pre, during, and after the birth for 2 weeks for postpartum care at night.  I had a C section which was not planned and having her at home to help me transition made it all the more easier.   I do not even want to know what having a baby without her is like.  She is highly professional, grounded, knowledgeable,  a very good listener and teacher, and has a wonderful disposition.   Her passion for her work and her love for babies is so apparent as she truly cares about the entire family!  Sarah is a treasure and for my next baby, she will be the first person I call.
