Shannon from Cape Cod Baby was fantastic. She was responsive, reliable, and caring. She was very knowledgeable and took great care of our newborn during the overnight shifts. Highly recommended!

Working with Shannon and Cape Cod Baby was fantastic! The doulas we worked with, Shirley and Rae-Anne, were both great. They were highly responsible, communicative, and caring, and we had no reservations having them look after our newborn son overnight for a period of 8 weeks. I highly recommend Cape Cod Baby for their post-partum doula services.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cape Cod Baby. I can't say enough positive things about Shannon and Shay, both of whom made me feel absolutely at ease as I planned for and arrived home with my newborn. Shannon was extremely helpful with the logistics of matching with a doula, working with my benefits provider, and answering all of my questions as a first timer. She also connected me to Shay, who is kind, warm, encouraging, knowledgable, comforting, skilled, helpful, loving... I could go on. My newborn, toddler, and dog all fell in love with Shay, and now she is forever a part of our family. I recommend Cape Cod Baby without reservation!

We had a wonderful experience with Cape Cod Doula and our care provider Lindsay, and could not recommend working with them more highly. As first-time parents, we had no idea what we were doing -- and were also very nervous about welcoming a stranger into our home during such a vulnerable time. Lindsay was professional, calm, considerate, warm, highly knowledgable, and flexible. It was an absolute blessing to have her support in our daughter's first weeks of life, offering us both physical and emotional relief. We cannot imagine going through this time without her and are forever grateful!

As second time parents, we knew how important quality sleep would be in the weeks following the baby's arrival. Shannon helped us feel at ease with our newborn, offered wonderful suggestions, and granted us interruption free nights. Because of her assistance, we had the energy to be present with our toddler during the day and truly appreciate our time with our newest addition. We are so grateful to have found Cape Cod Baby and for all of their love and support during our postpartum period.

I cannot adequately put into words how wonderful it was to work with Shannon and Cape Cod Baby! As a first timer in working with a Doula, I was unsure of what to expect from the services, but we knew our family greatly welcomed the extra support for our second child. Shannon matched us with a local Doula who was nothing short of incredible. She was experienced, warm, welcoming, and took to our family perfectly. We looked forward to the evenings she joined us each week and could easily call her a friend and confidant. I was able to discuss any and all post partum concerns with her, and pick her brain about both our children and recommendations for sleep support. Our now 4-month old son sleeps so well at night and we never had to endure the often crushing sleep deprivation of baby #1. The entire experience was beyond what I'd expected and I have and will continue to recommend Shannon and her team to anyone welcoming a new baby or searching for post-partum support.

Shannon's expertise was so reassuring. We knew we were in good hands from day 1. Her calm demeanor and knowledge helped us quickly navigate the newborn stage while we prioritized our sleep and brain space to best better parents. Shannon always communicated, checked in and helped keep things tidy and clean while staying with us. If we have another baby, we will be in touch with Shannon.

I cannot express enough appreciation of Shannon Outchcunis as my night nurse when my daughter was born. I was lucky enough to have her 6 of 7 nights a week for 8 weeks. She needed one night off and I had an alternate nurse who couldn't hold a candle to Shannon. She not only provided the best care I could ask for my daughter but for my entire family. Shannon took expert care of the baby identifying issues like a lip tie and other small problems before the pediatrician. She recommended products that would help that I still use today. She cared for my baby and I felt like she loved her like family. She also always asked how I was and what she could do to help me. My son loved her and begged to stay up everynight to greet her. He was sad on the nights she didn't come or when she stopped coming each night. Honestly I never wanted her to leave. I never felt uncomftable in my own home when she was there- she was present but in an unassuming way just taking care of what needed to be done to care for my family. She is an invaluable resource for any mom, even those with children. I wish I had known about this service for my first baby. Shannon is a special person who is a "baby whisperer" and she had my baby sleeping through the night by the time she left.

As a FTM, I was anxious about labor and delivery so my husband and I did research and chose Shannon as our doula. Shannon exceeded all of our expectations—she was supportive, there when we needed, extremely knowledgeable, and helped us through a difficult delivery. I highly recommend Shannon to anyone who is looking for a doula to give them support and guidance through their labor and delivery.
