Alex is truly the best! We had recently moved to Houston during our second trimester, and having Alex's support before, during, and after giving birth allowed us to feel calm and grounded during such big changes in our lives. Her experience and knowledge are immediately evident, yet she treated even the smallest question with respect, interest, and openness. Alex epitomizes humor, kindness, and grace, and we feel so lucky to have gotten to have her as our Doula. Also, I like her so much as a person, and so getting to hang out and prep for baby was really fun! Cannot recommend enough.

Alex is the perfect doula. I was a week away from my due date and I made a last minute decision to bring my baby into this world without medication. From our first consultation, I knew Alex was the one. She was so empowering throughout the whole process and I know me and my husband would not have been able to go through with it, if it weren’t for her. She gave me so much strength and I am forever grateful for her. If you are looking for a doula do yourself a favor, give yourself peace of mind and reach out to her!

Alex has been part of our support network since 2019 and has helped with our last two babies.  She is an absolute dream to work with and has an amazing upbeat attitude. She is very responsive and willing to help. From early morning pep talks to helping me analyze diaper contents - she’s such a source of knowledge and wisdom. Having babies is hard and she brings the focus on both the mom and the baby and truly cares about the families she works with.

Alex is an incredible doula and we were so lucky to work with her through my pregnancy and birth! She's extremely knowledgeable and helps you think through the many possible scenarios in advance in order to feel confident in the moment - but what I really love most about her is her ability to keep the mood so calm and light in the room during the birth. She has an incredible ability to read the room and she really matched how both my husband and I were feeling and provided just the thing that was needed as we progressed through the many hills and valleys of labor. From counter-pressure massages to light chatter, she just always knew how to give the thing that was right at the time. I also loved discussing options with her as my labor progressed. She was never judgmental or pushy, but provided her opinion and, most importantly, her support. Further, so many of the hospital staff (doctors, nurses, and lactation consultants) that cycled through my room during the birth made it a point to tell me later how wonderful they thought Alex was and how great it was to have her in the room. She treats everyone with respect and has incredible social intelligence. We've been in touch with her ever since my son was born - she's always available by text to answer all those middle-of-the-night postpartum questions and I wish we could've worked with her even more as a postpartum doula (we moved cities shortly after the birth). Finally, I also highly recommend checking out her podcast ("In The Family Way"). I listened to it on long walks in the final trimester of pregnancy and found it so very helpful and look forward to listening to more. Anyone who works with Alex is lucky to have her in their corner during this major life transition.

Alex was beyond a doubt my MVP through pregnancy, labor, and beyond! I found her through her podcast (In the Family way) and a recommendation through another friend. She’s down to earth, funny and kindhearted. But most importantly, she knows babies and how to set your mind and body at ease when it comes time to get down to business and meet your baby(labor/delivery). She helped me think through unexpected situations, provide gentle guidance to my partner, showed up to my birth with candles, snacks and beverages, and helped me keep pushing forward when things got tough. She was always available to answer my strange questions and concerns via text or just simply see how i was doing. We loved having her as our Doula, and couldn’t imagine it any other way. Please please do yourself a favor and reach out, get to know her and lock her in as your support person through the biggest transformation you’ll ever experience in life.

Alex is an absolute dream to work with! She provided night support for our first child and then we hired her again a year later with our twins. She was a lifesaver and worth every penny. She was always on time, very positive and uplifting, and super accommodating with our schedule. Alex will provide advice when you ask for it, but also will take care of your children however you ask her to. New parents know that good sleep is essential and sometimes difficult to come by, so it is invaluable to have someone you trust helping with your newborn. Alex books up months in advance to contact her as soon as you can!

I was not familiar with what a postpartum doula was and/or what they offer to a postpartum mom and experience. I was on the fence about hiring someone to help me during that crazy time, but luckily for me, my husband talked me into it and then we found Alex! The first day Alex came over, we just had a stressful visit to the pediatrician and I was having breastfeeding issues. Alex asked if she could give me a hug (Covid times) and I said yes and just sobbed in her arms. It was the first hug I had since Covid, outside of my husband. After that I knew that Alex was not only going to care for my baby, but for me as well. Since night one, she took initiative, which was much appreciated because A) I didn't know what I was doing and B) I didn't have the brain space to give much direction. She helped me through my postpartum anxiety with feeding issues, taught me how to bath my son, helped me work on sleep training, and always made sure I was drinking water and had snacks. Alex is very personable, professional, and will love you and your child wholeheartedly. I cannot recommend her enough.

Alexandra was my doula for birth and postpartum. I could not have made sense of it all without her guidance. I worked with her early on and she was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and provided a lot of literature for my options. When birth happened she kept me moving and made sure I stayed calm which is a huge thing for me. I also loved how she kept my husband involved and taken care of. It was super important for me that he not feel like he was out of place and she did that so well he is really happy she was there for him too. When we came home she helped me keep everything organized and easy so I didn't get overwhelmed. And I trusted her to help me with my baby so I could actually get naps in during the day. I cannot recommend her enough!

Alex was an incredible doula for me after having twin boys. I always knew my boys were in the best hands when she was with us. She is extremely knowledgeable in caring for both mom and babies. She went above and beyond the scope of work and made my life as a new mom very special. She is warm and has a fun sense of humor that makes her a joy to be around and the type of person I want being around my babies during their first few weeks. I learned so much from her during her time with us and was sad when my need for postpartum care ended. I highly recommend Alex.

Life saver! We enjoyed working with Alex so much. She not only got our baby girl to sleep through the night in less then 2 weeks at 2.5 months old, but she was motivating and empowering for both my husband and me. She taught us so much and was always available for a phone call, FaceTime or text ( even before I had the baby and in the middle of the night). We hope to stay in touch with her after such a bonding experience!

Alex is a real-life angel on earth! I would not have survived the first few months postpartum without her support. She is so knowledgeable and has a wealth of information on all things baby and postpartum topics. I felt so supported by her, not only because of her knowledge but also she provided so much emotional support. As a first time mother I was not aware of how emotionally and mentally challenging the postpartum period can be and she always listend to me and had such good advice, she was like my unofficial therapist. I trusted her implicitly with my boys and felt so at ease when she was with us. My husband and I both agreed that hiring her was the best decision we have made and we recommend her to all our friends and family who are expecting. I cannot say enough great things about Alex and we will definitely have Alex help us if we have other children.

Alex is a gift from God! She started with our family one week postpartum and completely exceeded all our expectations. She quickly got to know our place, and did household chores for me and the baby without me having to ask. This was a total life saver as a new mom. She made sure my son was taken care of in between my nursing sessions so I could eat and get much needed rest. It’s completely crazy, but I never heard my son cry once with her in the two months she was with us. He of course cried for me plenty of times. She is a baby whisperer.

She was able to help answer any questions I had about taking care of my son. She also helped me through multiple breastfeeding delimmas. She brought peace to such a stressful time in my life. Alex is also extremely professional and would do what I requested even if she had a difference of opinion. I cannot recommend her enough.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to have had Alex to help us with our son at night. She was absolutely incredible. She always showed up on time with a smile, eager to help us in every way! She did an AMAZING job with our son and even helped guide him to sleeping through the night by 3.5 months. As a new mom, I am constantly doubting myself and she was always happy to clarify any questions I had (I had a LOT) or to reassure me that we were doing a good job. At first, the idea of leaving my son with a total stranger was terrifying but she quickly put my mind at ease. I would recommend her to any and all of my friends and family. We miss her immensely but, thanks to her help, we no longer need her because our son is sleeping through the night!

Alex helped me twice very early on after bringing my daughter home.  She gave me good advice on nursing as I was having difficulty but best of all forced me to nap.  She took over, put together snack boxes for my nursing areas, did laundry and forced me to nap.  I needed to be forced as I wasn't following the "sleep when the baby sleeps" advice and should have. Thank you Alex!!

Alex is amazing and I highly recommend her for post-pardom doula services. My husband and I hired her to stay with us the first night we came home from the hospital with our daughter. Being first time parents, we were feeling a little overwhelmed and inexperienced. She calmed our anxieties and taught us more in one night than we learned in any of our hospital parenting courses. More importantly, she supported my breast feeding and helped teach my baby to latch when I was ready to give up. When we hired her again a few weeks later, she was even able to identify that our baby was showing signs of reflux. Once the doctor confirmed it and put her on medication, we suddenly had a happy baby! The differnce was like night and day! Alex is so knowlegable and such a delight to be around. And an added bonus: once she puts the baby to sleep, she offers to help clean and do laundry! She's honestly a miracle worker and I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

Alex came to help us 4 days after our son was born and I wish she had been there all along! She is beyond amazing with moms, dads and babies. She immediately felt like family. While I was recovering from a C section and struggling to nurse, she kept everything on track. There is nothing she can’t or won’t do! She fed me freaking blueberries on a fork while I was nursing! I’m booking her the moment I get pregnant again.

My experience with Alexandra was wonderful. She was highly competent but also caring, compassionate, and encouraging. Throughout my pregnancy, she offered guidance and emotional support. During labor, she was the voice guiding me through, calming me and giving me strength. I am certain I could not have had a successful natural birth without her encouragement. Alexandra continued to give guidance and emotional support after the delivery of my son. She was an immense resource for me before, during, and after delivery. She is simply an amazing doula and I'm so thankful to have had her there with me through it all.

Alexandra was my doula during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Since this was my first pregnancy I was so grateful for her guidance and support. She advised on the products we would need and which ones we could do without which really helped us use our budget wisely. And she was also super helpful with my pregnancy questions and which exercises to do to help in the long run. Since our little guy was born early she was our anchor and helped us through the process. The massage, pressure, and aromatherapy really made the difference when it came to pain management and we could not have been more thankful for her support. When we were able to bring our son home she helped us navigate through those early days of zombie hood. You can tell how much love is really put into everything she does. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alexandra and her work as our doula. She made a lasting impact on our family and helped to make this pregnancy and delivery the most special time in my life.
