Celia is wonderful! She took care of me and even helped my mom (birth helper) with advice and mental support. Celia massaged me when I needed it throughout my pregnancy. She gave me tips about turning my breech baby. She gave me advice and information with wonderful wisdom. I really loved having her at my side during my caesarean. She advocated for me to have a natural birth and when that wasn't possible, she was with me every step of the way!! She is calming and knowledgeable. She helped me thru out my entire pregnancy and after birth as well! I can't imagine not having her there for me and I'm so thankful to my parents for helping me have her. I also am ever so thankful for her help with a mastitis flare up I had. She is the best! Love her personality too

Celia played such a vital role in the birth of our daughter. She was calming, kind and supportive. Her words of affirmation, suggestions on positioning and guidance to keep me from holding my breath were what got me to the finish line. She would be an exceptional choice to hire as your doula! We are very thankful for her!

From a first time mom.

Wasn’t sure to hire a doula during pregnancy but decided to give it a chance when we hit the 36 weeks mark. After the Visio call with Celia we knew that she was the one, that will support us the best during birth( and she did ),

We are so blessed that Celia was and is part of our birth and parenting journey, she is very knowledgeable, and knew when it was the time to go to the birth center which without her knowing we would have stayed home and probably deliver there.

She helped me through my active labor, each contractions she had hands on me, and without her I would have had so much more pain.

Loved her, thank you Celia for your great service.

I had heard of a doula before but didn’t really know what they did or if I needed one.
I started doing some research and talked to friends and decided I wanted to learn more.

I don’t really know how I found her, possibly fate. But I found and reached out to Celia. She answered my questions, told me about what she does, what services she offers, etc.
I knew right away that she would be extremely helpful.

We took our childbirth classes through her and learned SO MUCH. With her help, we started to feel more and more prepared and confident about this new adventure. I was always so scared of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and I think it was because I didn’t have the knowledge or education. Her classes were amazing and very tailored to us which we loved!

Celia was there for me throughout my pregnancy with emotional support and helping me navigate my birth plan and some awesome massages (she’s an LMT ??)

When it came time for labor, Chris and I swear we could not have done it without her. She was everything we needed plus some. This is our first baby, first labor experience, we knew it would be difficult but she guided us every single minute of the way. She helped Chris know how to support me, she stepped in when I needed extra support from the pain.
She reminded me how to breathe, how to focus and helped me relax when I got so overwhelmed.
She showed/ told Chris what to do for me which made him feel more confident in how to be there for me through the toughest contractions.
She fed me a sandwich after birth and helped me sip on water all throughout. She went above and beyond to make me feel taken care of and supported.

She was the anchor to us getting through it all and I am so thankful we crossed paths!

If you have ever thought about hiring a doula, don’t think just call Celia! We would not have had such a great labor experience without her. We are so grateful!

Celia is an amazing Doula and massage therapist. She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and has a natural instinct for both mamas and babies. I don't know what I would have done without her in my most vulnerable state. I am so thankful for Celia being a part of my first unmedicated VBAC. She made me feel loved, strong, and most of all safe!

I had no clue what services a doula could offer, but had heard from friends that I would enjoy having an advocate while in labor and that I should look into doulas.  I interviewed a few companies, but felt at home with Celia.  She took her time to explain her role and how she could help me through the birthing process.  Being a first time mom, this helped my anxiety tremendously.  She was very responsive when I went into labor and stayed with me the entire time. She helped me through the rough spots before my epidural started to work, and made sure I was taken care of after the baby arrived.  Working with Celia exceeded all my expectations.  I would recommend her to anyone wanting a doula and would without a doubt hire again if I am blessed with another baby.

My husband and I used Celia for both childbirth education classes and as a doula. It was a wonderful decision! We first did not plan on using a doula because of the extra expense, but it was definitely worth it. Celia was incredibly responsive when we had questions and concerns, and she helped me prepare mentally, emotionally, and physically for the pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time.

I ended up having a precipitous labor and as soon as we knew what was happening, Celia was on her way to the hospital. I couldn’t have asked for better support during the fast and furious labor I had. She helped me manage the physical discomfort that came along with natural birth, and she helped my husband support me. I definitely plan on hiring Celia for our next birth!

Celia was an amazing source of support for me throughout my pregnancy. Early on I was in need of a massage to assist with an injury and she was incredibly helpful. It was through these massages that I decided to hire her as a Doula since we had bonded through touch and I knew she would be the best person to support and comfort my body during labor and any challenges it held for me physically. Celia is also a delightful person to talk and share life's stories with as she is a warm, compassionate, and funny lady. I feel my pregnancy certainly put her to work and I never tired of her presence. I experienced several rounds of prodromal labor and she was very supportive with showing up for a "labor party" even though things fizzled out. I also then went "overdue" and she was able to assist with a series of "induction" bodywork to help move things along. And then when the big day finally did arrive she was a remarkably calm and peaceful source for me to turn to for witty banter and physical comfort measures. She was hands-on the entire time of my labor which is just what I needed. She willingly provided me with endless hip squeezes and fed me snacks and kept me hydrated during the entire labor. After the birth she gave me the best feet and leg massages as we managed my care and met the new baby. In the early newborn days, she helped me with a couple postnatal massages to relieve my exhausted and seriously strained body which helped me recover and be available to my new baby and family much more easily. Celia is a remarkable and truly knowledgeable source for anything bodywork and pregnancy/birth focused. Celia is a must hire! Don't believe me? Just book a massage and find out for yourself! You'll walk away having scheduled her to meet your husband for a Doula consultation!

Celia was an amazing friend & coach while I was in labor; I couldn't have done it without her. I knew I wanted (needed) a doula again for my second birth, and I chose Celia because she was a licensed massage therapist in addition to her demeanor/personality. I knew I needed two things for pain relief: a hot water bath & massage! Celia's massage techniques helped me manage labor pains & relax during and after delivery. She had a very calm demeanor and had very encouraging words of affirmation to help me handle the painful contractions. She's had great communication throughout the pregnancy and even now postpartum checking in on me. I'm so grateful to have had her by my side during this time!

Celia provided many services for my family throughout my pregnancy including childbirth education classes, prenatal massage and she served as our doula. She was an integral part of our team, providing amazing support throughout my entire pregnancy, through birth and postpartum! It truly was the perfect combination of mind, body and spirit to receive such thorough care leading up to the birth of our son.  Her presence alone is very calming and grounding. I couldn’t imagine going through the labor process without her. She was a source of strength, encouragement and comfort during the most difficult moments of labor- always reminding me that I was capable. Celia also has a wealth of resources and referrals that were very helpful when navigating the postpartum and newborn stage. She is an educated, thoughtful and intuitive person that puts her whole heart into her work. I can’t thank her enough for her care throughout this sacred time in my life.

If you don’t know Celia, run, go meet her, go talk to her and you will see. If you do know Celia, consider yourself blessed. This woman is of adifferent caliber. When choosing a doula, I wanted someone who could fit into my sacred birthing space. After interviewing several doulas, I finally spoke to Celia, and within the first 5 minutes, I knew she was the necessary puzzle piece for my pregnancy, birth and beyond. Her energy was so positive and I could feel a sense of joy and warmth radiating outward.  As a massage therapist, Celia gave me such a gift of relaxation and calm, both of which I got to carry out into my birth.  As a doula, Celia helped empower me in countless ways. Through childbirth education for my husband and I, we felt so prepared for our daughter’s arrival. Through Celia’s gentle touch, words of affirmation and encouragement, I felt fearless. Through her constant reassurance after my birth, I felt supported. At every mile marker of our journey, Celia was there, strong, fierce, yet calm, meeting me where I was and supporting me exactly in the way I needed. I would choose Celia over and over again as my doula. She has no idea the profound impact she had on my life and the lives of my children and husband.

I feel so fortunate to have found Celia to support me as a doula during the birth of my second daughter. She has this calming presence that made me feel safe, supported and cared for through my birth center birth despite at times feeling out of control. I cannot imagine having the same positive, strong, birth experience without her support. Even with a wonderfully supportive partner and two great midwives, having the support of a doula like Celia is invaluable.

She went above and beyond to answer any questions, provide support materials, and be on call the day I went into labor. Not to mention the use of the Tens unit that she provided during labor. This unit helped so much with my posterior baby and back labor and actually made the labor feel quite manageable that it went much faster than I thought.

This was my second birth, but first with the support of a doula. If you're considering whether or not you may need a doula - from my experience, even with the best support from a partner and midwives, a doula provides that emotional and physical support that will get you through the hardest moments not just for you but for your partner too and is worth every penny.

I could not recommend Celia more, I feel so blessed to have found her.

I am a first time mom who had a home birth. I absolutely loved having Celia as my doula. I began seeing her for monthly massages and childbirth classes from end of my first trimester all the way until birth. Her childbirth classes were wonderfully informative and she was very patient with my husband and me, answering every question we had extensively and walking us through everything step by step. I learned a lot of techniques that helped me immensly in labor. I also felt very confident of my choices and birth plans having been properly informed on everything from hospital to home birth. The monthly (sometimes more often) massages were wonderful and healing all throughout my pregnancy. My body pain was very minor and I owe a lot of that to Celia. I ended up seeing her weekly by the last month of pregnancy and it’s what kept me comfortable and sane (having gone two weeks past my due date almost). Celia was also there for me anytime I needed. She was available and flexible with scheduling and was quick to answer any texts, calls, or emails from me. Lastly, her presence at my birth was key. I honestly don’t think I would have had as good of a birth experience if not for her. She was there as soon as I needed her and through the entire labor she was flawless. She massages tense areas when needed, kept me as relaxed as possible, and was extremely attentive, making sure I was getting everything I needed. She helped me remember my breathing and kept me as comfortable as possible, suggesting different laboring positions, making sure I was hydrated and fed. She was my rock through it all. She kept me motivated and confident even when things got tough. Even after labor and the birth she was amazinglay helpful, massaging my tired leg muscles to help with shak and soreness afterwards. She stayed as long as I needed her and a week later came back to help me and teach me how to use the belly wrap. I could not recommend Celia more as a doula. She is incredible.

Celia was always available throughout my pregnancy and childbirth, whether via phone, email, or other communication. She listened and answered all of the questions and concerns that I had. When needed, she provided additional information and well-research findings. This open communication was a tremendous resource to help us make decisions about birth and care. Her childbirth education materials left us feeling empowered, encouraged, educated, and more informed about what we would face ahead of us.

When it came time to deliver, Celia was attentive to all of my needs, and flexible when those needs changed by the moment. She was a calming, encouraging, and supportive presence throughout my labor and birth. Her postpartum visit was also very helpful, with providing reflections upon what happened and weaving those experiences into the birth story. She also provided a variety of books and resources for parents of newborns. I'd highly recommend her!

Celia was amazing from start to finish. She was very flexible for our first meeting, especially when my schedule suddenly changed. She won me over from our first conversation. She was very professional about her services but still laid back and easy to talk to. Before signing the contract, she was very open in helping us pick out the services we needed and was super helpful in allowing us to eliminate services that we didn't need from the package we selected. We decided on the massage and aromatherapy package, adding the belly binding. We had one prenatal meeting and we were able to discuss all of the details my husband and I wanted to go over for the birth. I had 3 prenatal massages prior to birth and all were amazing. The first massage was my first massage ever; Celia made me feel very comfortable. After that, I greatly looked forward to each massage. I constantly texted Celia as the birth got closer. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and letting me know when I should call my midwives for reassurance or to answer medical questions. The morning my water broke, Celia was ready all day for my call. She provided many tools that I could try to use to help my labor get started. I ended up at the hospital in the afternoon because I had to be induced. Celia came up to the hospital in the evening when my contractions started to get pretty intense. I didn't give birth until the morning at 10:30 am. Celia stayed by my side every second, doing everything in her power and pulling out every tool in her arsenal to help me handle the pains and intensity of labor. I had a medication-free birth and really needed everything that Celia had to give. She held my hand all night while I endured the night of contractions. She massaged, did aromatherapy, coached through breathing and my tones, provided her TENS unit, and a bunch of other things I can't even remember. We could not have done it without Celia!

FFrom the moment I met Celia during our consultation I knew i wanted her to be part of my birth team. This was my 5th pregnancy, yet my first home birth. Initially I thought I knew everything i needed to know about birth and I just wanted Celia to be my backbone during the rough moments of labor. Needless to say she was so much more. She gave me strength I never knew I had, her positive, calm energy flowed through the room and gave us the perfect atmosphere to welcome our son. Celia taught me how to truly tune into my body and relax through childbirth. Everything I learned from her helped me to have the perfect birth I so badly wanted. I know I could have had a nonmedicated birth but definitely not as easily as I did and I have Celia to thank for that. Overall she is just someone you want to be around. Not only will she provide you with every tool to have your own perfect birth but she will also become a friend in the process. Words just can' express enough how awesome she is as a doula.

I couldn't have asked for a better, more caring, more humble and knowledgeable person to be my Doula! Celia was there for me from the beginning to the end of this wonderful journey. I'm a first time mom and I would take Celia as my Doula again without a doubt. I knew from our first consultation that she would be the perfect help to me!

At 36 weeks I was very emotional and had so much going on around me that I started feeling lonely. At 37 weeks we found out that I was having a full beech baby with an anterior placenta so it was going to be tough to turn the baby naturally. We did ECV with Dr Cummings but it wasn't successful. I knew my birth plan was about to suddenly change so emotionally I was not in the right place in my life. At 38 weeks we went to Dr Cummings together with Celia to do a second ECV so that I could maybe have my baby in water but I started bleeding the second we walked in the office, I was one cent dialated. That night I started my contractions and Celia knew everything that was happening so she decided to come over to my house even though I felt like I wasn't in pain and still had time for the baby to come. My Midwife even told me to have a glass of wine and go to bed cause this baby won't come for another few days. Celia made the right decision to come over cause that night I had my beautiful breech baby boy naturally in the hospital with Dr Cummings. She was my hero that night and came over at the right time! Celia was truly there for me, emotionally and physically, throughout my pregnancy, birth and after birth! I couldn't have done this without her help, support and knowledge!

Celia was an amazing and informative doula. All of our meetings were always filled with excitement, encouragement and anticipation. As first time parents, we appreciated every visit and techniques to practice to prepare for birth. Even though delivery didn’t go as planned, Celia still stayed hands-on and stayed engaged with me. I was very emotional and little did she know I really pulled from her strength. Thank you Celia for being with us during one of the best moments God has blessed our family with.

Celia’s quick response to phone calls and text during labor as well as her support in reminding us of the things we wanted out of our birth were very helpful to my husband and I. Celia’s words of encouragement helped calm me. In labor, what helped me relax were things that were discussed at our prenatal appointments like taking a bath, abdominal breathing, moving around, reading birth affirmations and listening to music. Her additional support as well as calm presence after delivery was beyond appreciated. I didn’t know I should eat after delivery and her gentle offering of a small snack helped me when I didn’t even know I needed it. And the foot rub afterwards was a happy distraction. You have made this time easier for my family. Your support has been invaluable.
