Choosing Landon as our doula was the most positively impactful and important decision we made for ourselves and our children. Her wealth of knowledge and experience is incredible, she is consistently present without invading your space and she knows how to support the birthing person and partner(s) in tandem. Landon is not there to replace the partner or support people, but beautifully enhances their role and fills in where needed. Even with our third birth, her prenatal visits and questions helped highlight and guide what we truly wanted from this birth, and brought up aspects we had never thought of before! No matter what your birth wishes may be, there is no one better to support you and your family through this most incredible transition. Landon is forever apart of our family and we are deeply grateful for her role in our births!

I could never thank Landon enough for helping us all through our first birth. I really feel like she was meant to be there- Have Heart Doula for a baby whose name was destined to mean “heart.” I’m forever grateful that we were directed to her and that she miraculously still had a spot for a family with such short notice. She is clearly meant for this work; she has a calming, yet strong presence that’s so invaluable when someone is in such a vulnerable state. Her experience and knowledge was such an asset allowing us to go into labor prepared for things we hadn’t even thought about, and as labor progressed kept us informed about what to expect and what the next steps may be. In all our interactions with her she took our wishes into account, presented us with facts, information, and options and wasn’t pushy in any direction. During labor she was tirelessly present for hours on end and gave us company when we would have otherwise been on our own for long stretches. She provided positions to help my labor progress and physical and emotional support throughout the process, always making sure I felt comfortable and respected, and that I was informed and understood what was going on both as it was happening and when we went over the whole experience postpartum. All of these qualities are so important in guiding someone going into something that has the possibility to be very scary and unpredictable, especially experiencing it for the first time when you don’t really know what to expect. Not to mention in the chaos of birth she took such special pictures for us. She is a big part of the reason that I and so many others can look back on our birth experiences with such peace and joy. Landon will always be special to us and I’ll be praying we’re lucky enough to require her services again soon!!

My first birth experience was a relatively traumatic one, ending in an emergency c-section. This was followed by a pregnancy loss with my second pregnancy. When I became pregnant the third time, I knew I needed to take a different approach and take more control over my birth experience. I started looking into the support of a Doula and Landon came highly recommended to me from a friend. I met with Landon and in our meetings she was an amazing listener, asked such thoughtful questions, I knew I'd found the person to help me bring our baby girl into this world.

Our little girl decided to make her appearance 3 weeks early, and Landon made her way to us in the middle of the night as contractions were getting more and more intense. I don't think I could have labored as long as I did without her there with me. Her words of affirmation, her adjustments and guidance of my body, made all the difference. Her calm demeanor and her utter confidence in my body was such a contrast to my experience from my first delivery. Even when the medical staff tried to start conversations around a potential c-section, Landon was there asking me questions that they weren't and giving me strength where they wanted me to give up. Finally, the medical staff agreed I was ready to start pushing and Landon was there holding my hand, encouraging me with each and every push. Baby girl was ready, after 19 minutes of pushing and 5 power pushes, our precious girl came into the world perfect and within an ounce in size of her brother. I think back on her birth and I KNOW it was so blissful and pleasant because of the support of Landon. My husband and I both agree, if we have a third, Landon MUST be there with us. I look back with so much love and empowerment from her and can't imagine what it would have been like without her. I cannot recommend her enough!

Initially we weren't sure if we needed a doula, but we are so happy Landon was part of our birth team. We felt supported and empowered by her presence. She undoubtedly played a crucial role in making our birth experience as positive as it was.

Landon played a huge role in our birth experience and I honestly can’t imagine having gone through labor without her help. She was the exact emotional support I needed and offered encouragement and comfort throughout it all. Her knowledge and experience was super helpful during labor as well as leading up to the birth whenever I had any questions and also postpartum. Communication was flawless. She always made us feel at ease in her presence and it is evident that she has a ton of experience in her field. We 100% recommend her as a Doula to anyone who wants the very best!!

My husband and I struggled with infertility for most of our marriage. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told it was highly likely I would have a difficult time getting pregnant. We had just decided on moving forward with adoption when we found out at the end of that month we were expecting. We went through most of the pregnancy being set on it just being the two of us going through the labor and delivery process until we took our class through BirthEd where we learned all about doulas and the importance of having them. We found Landon through BirthEd and could not have chosen a better human being. Landon is amazing. Her calm demeanor, caring heart, warm personality, and the way she advocated for us in every stage of our labor and delivery process was exactly what we needed. We could not have gone through the process we did without her. She is knowledgeable, kind, and informed. I had so much past trauma that was always really hard for me to talk about but with Landon I felt like I could open up and talk honestly with her about my labor and delivery fears. I have never felt more loved, supported, and appreciated. Landon made me feel like I could do anything and in the end validated my decisions and fully supported me in every way possible. I will definitely be having her as my doula again for any other future babies we have. We highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

We strongly recommend Landon for anyone looking for a Doula. Our first pregnancy was traumatizing so finding extra support for our second was very important. I believe she is a big reason I had a successful VBAC. Landon knows all the magic labor positions and pain management tools. She is calm but in control, a great listener but not afraid to speak, knowledgeable but not overbearing.

Her wealth of experience allows her to tailor the experience based on your personal preferences. We felt secure knowing that whatever our decisions, Landon would be our informed guide and caring supporter. We are so grateful we hired Landon and you will be too!

The first time we met Landon, my wife and I knew we had found the support we wanted and needed as a part of our journey. Throughout our meetings with her, she provided so much insight into our options during labor as well as helped identify things that were and were not important to me.

When everything changed in the last 7 days of my pregnancy, she was there as a wealth of knowledge to help guide us through some really tough decisions. Having to pivot to a c-section after wanting an unmedicated birth is not an easy mindset switch and Landon was crucial in helping me grieve my initial birth plan while also helping me accept that baby was trying to tell us something and needed out.

Even throughout a c-section, Landon was a crucial support person. I know I would not have had such a positive experience if it weren’t for her. She was calm, supportive, and knowledgeable and I cannot imagine anyone else I would have preferred as my doula. She truly is the best of the best.

Our experience with Landon was nothing short of amazing. Her support was crucial for our family as we prepared for the birth of our first baby. Landon was with us every step of the way with her calming presence and immense knowledge of childbirth. She had a beautiful way of supporting us during labor; never overbearing and always there to provide positive feedback.

Once our baby girl was born, we noticed that she was born with a clubfoot. We knew that she would need additional support from hospital specialists, but we also made a choice to try Craniosacral Therapy and chiropractic work before her one month appointment at the specialty hospital. Naturally, we leaned on Landon to provide our baby with weekly CST appointments.

After each week, we could tell our baby was looking more and more relaxed and started to unwind her body, as well as her little foot. Landon was incredibly gentle while working with our baby and focused on her whole body, not just her foot. Her latch became looser and breastfeeding became easier too.

At the end of the month, we traveled to our appointment with the specialist to find out that our baby no longer had a clubfoot and no other therapies needed to be done in the future. We are so thankful that we decided to invest in CST work with Landon, along with chiropractic work, because it made the biggest difference for our baby. We recommend working with Landon in every capacity and utilizing her in all of her talents.

Landon was instrumental in our successful birth experience. Her guidance starting with pre-birth classes, birth, and postpartum, her support was priceless.
In our pre-birth classes she prepared us for all the possibilities and informed us of our options. Because of her support and education, we felt empowered to advocate for ourselves and ensured we were making mindful decisions that aligned with our preferences. She had a calming and reassuring presence during the birth and her vast experience was palpable. She was always a message away to answer any of our questions and ensure we felt supported in our first days at home.

Having Landon present for our birth was the best investment we could have made; we will be recommending her to any family or friends who are expecting.

My husband and I weren't totally sure we wanted to work with a doula for the birth of our first child, but in retrospect, we are so glad we did--and we are so glad that doula was Landon. From the moment we met her during a Zoom interview, we could tell Landon's warm, down-to-earth demeanor, extensive knowledge, and absolute professionalism were just what we were looking for. We met with Landon twice before the birth; in those meetings, we talked about comfort measures and prepared a detailed birth plan. Making the birth plan with Landon was an incredibly useful process in that it prepared us for aspects of the birthing process we had never considered and helped us proactively decide how we would want to proceed in different scenarios so that we could avoid having to make stress-informed game time decisions. During the labor, Landon guided me through various birthing positions that kept labor progressing. She also gave my husband a clear sense of how he could support me both physically and emotionally through the labor. We loved the midwives and nurses we worked with at the hospital, but looking back, it’s clear that Landon was largely responsible for us having a positive, empowering birthing experience. We had a postpartum meeting with her a week or so after our daughter was born to debrief the birth and check in about the baby's health, breastfeeding, and my healing. It was a really special way to get some closure on the entire birthing experience. We would strongly recommend Landon to anyone looking for a doula who is extremely skilled and an absolute pleasure to work with.

We found Landon when I was pretty far along in my pregnancy. She turned out to be the best decision we made in regards to our prenatal, labor and postpartum support. She went above and beyond our expectations and provided so much needed comfort to us as first time parents. Even though we tried to be as informed as possible we didn't have half the insight as she did in regards to literally everything. You can tell that this is her passion in life. She is worth every penny and more! I just wish we would have found her sooner!

We interviewed a few doulas early in the 2nd trimester of our first pregnancy. We chose Landon because she had such a calming energy to her and it was clear she was going to equally support not only me but my husband as a unified team. Our prenatal appointments with Landon were incredibly informative. She comes with such a huge wealth of knowledge from all the births she has attended. Her visits always calmed my fears and worries. Landon was great to never provide "medical advice" and always tell me when a question I was asking was better suited for my midwife team. One of my midwives even told me I had a great doula when I told her my doula said I should ask my midwife about evening primrose oil rather than have my doula instruct me on usage. Our birth experience ended up not being what we expected. The day we were supposed to get induced the entire medical team urged us to have a c-section due to several risk factors I had. Landon was with us every step of the way. She comforted us on the phone, was a fierce advocate for our birth wishes and we knew she would support us regardless of what decision we made. We ended up having a c-section. She arrived to the hospital a few hours before the surgery took place and talked us through what to expect, calmed my anxiety, answered our questions and ensured we felt comfortable with everything that was about to happen. In those moments of huge fears, anxiety and grief over not getting the birth experience we wanted- Landon was our rock. She was allowed into the OR during surgery. She held my hand when I felt like I couldn't breathe, provided constant reassurance and made me not feel alone (both physically and mentally) when our daughter had to be separated from me after birth. She even somehow managed to take several beautiful pictures of those first moments meeting our daughter. We are so happy and thankful we chose Landon as a support partner during this pregnancy and birth.

Choosing Landon as our birth doula for our first child was the best decision my husband and I made during our pregnancy - she is so in tune with the mamas / partners she supports and invested in ensuring that we have empowering and positive birth experiences. She also brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge and a grounding energy that helped us endure a difficult labor.

I remember feeling amazed that Landon's intuition was spot-on and she knew what I needed at any given moment, whether it was to provide counter-pressure relief (which was absolutely necessary for me to continue laboring on Pitocin without pain medication), soothing affirmations, suggestions for laboring positions, or a sip of water. Towards the end, I developed an infection and baby's heart rate started to struggle - thankfully, everything worked out and in retrospect, Landon was our guiding light that reassured us and advocated for us to make sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. I felt like we had a true advocate in the room with us that we trusted to help us ask the right questions and make decisions. Our nurses remarked that they had not seen a doula in action as effective and amazing as Landon - she is subtle and calm yet emits a powerful energy that comforted, inspired, and motivated us.

Whether you have a pregnancy that is high-risk or low-risk, are set on a doula or curious about one, are hoping for an unmedicated birth or needing help to figure out your preferences, we absolutely recommend Landon. She's phenomenal, and serving as a doula is clearly her calling - she'll provide you with intuitive support and invaluable insights every step of the way to optimize your birth experience. We're so thankful for her and although she insists that we did all of the work, we really also credit the birth of our beautiful and healthy baby girl to her being our doula. Thank you, Landon!

It sounds cliche, but I don't know how I would've managed without Landon. She was a dedicated, empathetic partner who helped my wife and I through every single step in the birthing and postpartum process. A critical resource every step of the way.

Landon has a wonderfully calming presence, is full of knowledge and really helped us have the birth I had always hoped for. I feel so lucky that we found her and she was part of our team, though she felt more like a dear friend very quickly. She was a guiding force for us during the end of my pregnancy and helped us advicate for what we needed leading up to birth of our daughter. Landon also provided great lactation support and helped me and baby get comfortable with nursing from day one. I can not say enough good things about Landon!

As the husband and future father of our son, it was mandatory my wife felt comfortable, confident, listened to, supported and well educated on what to expect when the day arrived. Landon was this complete package and was a main reason my wife had such a great birth experience and even I had Landon's support to focus more intimately on my wife. Highly recommend Landon's services.

My wife and I give Landon 6 out of 5 stars. She was an absolutely amazing doula for the birth of our first child! Our labor ended up being long, complicated  and a real roller coaster with some scary moments. Thankfully it all ended well. Landon demonstrated an incredible amount of skill, knowledge, caring,  encouragement, compassion, hug-giving, and divinely - granted superhero abilities... Ok maybe not the last part but everything else is true :) We were so fortunate to have her by our side through it all. If you're considering hiring her, do it!

My husband and I found Landon only a couple weeks before the birth of our first child- it was quite the scramble but when we met with Landon we instantly knew she was our doula. So easy to talk with and so comforting and knowledagble. it was so nice for her to accept us so late and she even made an in home 2 hour visit work with her schedule before having our baby to review our birth plan. She was always there to answer questions via text or phone call and would check in to see how things were going. When I went into labor I was in contact with Landon who was very helpful and encouraging and said “let me know when tou want me there and I’ll be on the way.” She showed up promptly. Our birth experience was above and beyond and I have Labdon to thank for that. As first time parents, we were nervous about the whole process beforehand. I can say having Landon there took away all worries. She immediately provided this calming environment in our home and at the hospital. Landon also provided great physical relief in my unmediated birth by helping me with positions, massage and different pressure points. Through my whole labor, it’s like she could read my mind and knew exactly what I needed when I needed it, whether it was a calming voice in my ear, encouragement, putting a washcloth on my forehead, supporting my husband- she just knew. Landon also came to our home a couple days after baby was born and helped me with breastfeeding, which I was struggling greatly with. She showed me tricks and provided encouragment and we even talked about my birth experience. I could never thank Landon enough for helping us bring our baby into the world. A once in a lifetime experience and I would want Landon there every time.

I reached out to Landon only a few weeks before I was due. I was due with my second child and originally I felt pretty confident without a doula. Closer to my due date, I started second guessing my decision and my husband was supportive either way, but wanted me to feel safe and confident during birth. I decided to hire Landon and it was the best decision I made. Even though we were fast approaching our due date, she made a 2+ hour trip to meet with my husband and I. We went over our birth plan and some other material she provided to make sure we could prepare for the birth we wanted. Fast forward to the day before our birth, she drove up again to be with us as my contractions became stronger and offered support, positioning and tips to make sure everything progressed like I wanted. At the hospital, she offered counter pressure during the intense contractions, ideas for positioning, and support for my husband when myself and husband weren’t really sure what to do! I spent a lot of time in the birthing tub but kept my body moving with her recommendations of different positions which made a huge difference. After delivery, Landon was there to help with breastfeeding, snacks, and support for us before she went home. She didn’t rush off like most Doula’s. She provided another follow up after we were home and getting settled to talk about breastfeeding and transitioning as our now family of 4! My husband and I truly feel a Doula makes a world of difference. The nursing staff at our hospital were incredible too, but they really focus more on charting for baby and myself and there are a lot of times they will leave for longer periods of time and that is when I would have felt a little lost with just my husband and I. Thank you Landon for your support and calm presence during my birth, it went as perfect as I had wanted in my labor and delivery!

I applied for a Doula on Everyday Miracles and got paired with Landon. I then looked through her profile and thought "she seems like a good match for me".  I'm very introverted but when her and I first met, I found myself talking more than I normally would meeting someone.  She is so down to earth and very easy to talk to. I felt like her and I had known each other for a very long time.  I told her I wanted to do a hypnobirth and she provided me with materials for it. As a single mom, I was a bit nervous doing hypnosis by myself. She was a great support though. She even read the hypnosis prompts that are usually for "birth partners". She was very hands-on throughout my labor and birth, which was exactly what I needed.  She was amazing throughout my pregnancy, labor, and even after. She's never more than a text away and I love how much passion she has for being a doula. I am so happy with how my birth went and so happy she was there with me every step of the way! I most definitely would recommend her to anyone having a baby!

We found Landon through Everyday Miracles (a great organization, btw), and instantly felt we could trust her to support us through pregnancy and birth. During my pregnancy, I had some complications (high blood pressure, breech) that caused me a lot of anxiety. Landon was so great at listening, giving us lots of information, and helping us advocate for ourselves. I ended up having a scheduled c-section, and Landon was there to support and tell me what was happening every step of the way. She even snapped a couple pictures for us :). Having her there made me feel calmer and more confident in the process. She is also quite connected to the local parenting community and has been a great resource for us since our baby was born!

As a birth photographer, I get the pleasure of documenting lots of births at the sides of many different doulas. For those clients who hire Landon to be their doula, I am always put at ease in knowing that their birth journey will be phenomenally supported. I have seen her reassure partners so they can put aside fears, realize that everything is fine, and focus on their love. After every birth I've attended with her, I've noticed that she doesn't rush out, but rather, sits at your side and feeds you, helping to replenish your reserves, while you snuggle your new babe.

After meeting her, you may notice that she is not the tallest doula, but she is strong and her energy is grounded, calm and constant, and I have witnessed how beautifully she is able to help parents of all statures journey through labor with comfort measures that really make a difference, through birth with validation that these parents are accomplishing incredible things -- always full of love and acceptance, meeting her clients where they are at.

Landon is a rare gem in a community rich with doulas. The Twin Cities are so lucky to have her <3
