So glad to be writing this review for Cheryl. She was way more than i could have asked for. She was very open, informative and helpful from the first chat we had over the phone. she gave me excellent advice and tips on how to deal with my little 3 year old and how to prepre him for that day. After the first conversation with her i could tell she was very experience and so easy to talk to that i knew i really wanted to work with her as my Doula. She gave our family great peace of mind, guided us and made me feel more at ease with ny second delivery. I was very anxious about it and i also wanted to try natural delivery with no meds and she definitely understood my fears and guided me through with great care, love and patience. I'm so thankful for her support, for her experience and helping hand on the big day! having her made the experience so much better and her knowledge and calm voice were so reassuring during my delivery, specially after giving birth when i was experiencing some dificulties. A true blessing !

We had Cheryl MacLennan as the doula for our second pregnancy. It was our first time using a doula. All I can say is - I am so glad we made the decision to have a doula and even more so to have Cheryl as our first doula. Cheryl has a calmness to her that is very reassuring. This coupled with her experience helped us immensely. She made herself very available to us. As a male, I realised that there are things I just wouldn't know how to act on especially at the time of labor. Having Cheryl there with us guided us through the unknowns. She was always holding our hands and knew what was needed to be done when the time came for action. Cheryl MacLennan is a true blessing!

My husband and I booked Cheryl as our postpartum doula before our twins were born. We had a 3 year old also and we knew we couldn't do it all on our own. When complications occurred during birth, Cheryl was an angel who came to the rescue. Not only watching over me over entire nights in ICU, but helping my husband and family with the newborns at our home.
Even after I was able to come home, Cheryl's help was exactly what we needed. She helped me through different challenges with nursing twins and the particulars of caring for newborns as well as the 3 year old. She helped to make sure I, as the mother of the newborns, was looked after with nutritious food, time to nap, and healing sitz baths. She baby-wore both of the babies while at the same time helping with laundry and food prep.
Cheryl was always cheerful, kind and exactly everything that I needed to survive the first 4 months with newborns. Her knowledge, expertise and hands-on skills were essential. I can’t imagine what postpartum recovery and survival would have been like without her help.
My husband and I are forever grateful to Cheryl for helping us through a challenging time in our lives.

Cheryl was our post partum doula after our second child was born. I can't say enough, she was amazing. Like a warm cup of tea on a frosty day. The days she spent with us could not have gone any better.
Becoming a mother of two beautiful babies very close in age was a vulnerable time for me. Cheryl helped me rest and recover, eased the transition to two little ones, and fostered my confidence along the way.
Our entire family felt beyond cared for. Cheryl would make the most of her time with us, quietly multitasking and anticipating what was needed before we asked; helping with whatever the day brought. The days she was with us, my husband would come home from work to an extra calm household, rested wife, happy babies, and delicious wholesome meal. (Cheryl can work wonders in the kitchen on top of all her other skills!).
She is a wealth of knowledge, and taught us many useful parenting tips and tricks. Her nurturing demeanour was exactly what our family needed. We wish we could have kept her forever!

My husband and I were so grateful to have Cheryl as our doula. This was our first baby and we were quite nervous about all the unexpected aspects of labour. It was so reassuring to have Cheryl to consult with beforehand and as a strong support for both of us when the time came. Cheryl is kind and soft hearted, very easy to feel welcome and comfortable in her presence. (as you very much NEED to be if you are going to be birthing a baby!) She also has an inner strength that she can use to help you focus on the task at hand. My labour was epically long, almost 36 hours and I never noticed Cheryl tiring or fading at any point. She was focused and present whenever I needed her, a true hero in such a long and taxing situation. We would absolutely give her our highest recommendation if you are looking for a strong yet unobtrusive woman to help support you through a birth.

Cheryl was fantastic. On the day I went into labour she kept in contact with me for the first few hours and then came right over to my home. Cheryl was very hands on which I thoroughly enjoyed. She engaged closely with me during every contraction and worked to ensure my comfort at all times. I would recommend Cheryl to anyone who is looking to have the most natural experience giving birth as Cheryl's amazing bedside manner, experience and all around personality prove to bring the desired atmosphere. Cheryl is an outstanding doula and she would hands down be your best pick, I know I would use her again!

Cheryl was a joy to have at my birth. Her reassuring pressence and encouragement was a tremendous help during labor. She used counter pressure and massage and also helped to keep my breathing focused, low and rythmic. I was definately more calm throught labor and confident in my abilities by having her there.
