My family and I can't find enough positive things to say about Tammy!! She is an absolute gem. It is evident from the minute you watch her with your baby that this is her calling. We worked with Tammy mostly in the capacity as an overnight, postpartum doula. It was priceless to walk downstairs after a solid night's sleep to an immaculate kitchen, clean bottles, folded laundry, and most of all, a happy baby! Tammy somehow knows what you need and would perform tasks I didn't even think to ask. I truly think I had a better bonding experience with my baby during maternity leave due to these nights of respite. Tammy is professional in every manner--she arrives ahead of time, is prompt in her communications, and provides experienced insight/advice when solicited. Moreover, we felt so comfortable having her in our home overnight while sleeping and alone with our infant during the day. It can be hard to open up to someone during your most vulnerable moments but she has a persona which automatically puts you at ease. We have come to think of her as family, and hope that our child will continue to see her during his upbringing!

I have hired Tammy to help with both of my kiddos. I have a seven year old boy and an 8 month old girl. She is amazing with babies and I trust her so much!
I primarily needed help during the night so I would have her come for the "night shift" so my husband and I could catch up on that much needed rest. She was SO helpful and I knew that I could trust her to be with my babies. She would follow all recommendations, including feeding breast milk and helping us when we were focused on her schedule. She also would have good advice for when one of my kiddos had acid reflux and when I went through mastitis.
She is amazing and I cannot thank her enough for being part of my motherhood journey. She helped the entire experience be more wonderful. As she said one time, she helped us mamas take care of us mamas so we can take care of our babies. A night of rest helped me be able to do it all again the next day.
Thank you Tammy! I cannot recommend her more. Hurry and hire her before someone else does :)

I was struggling with postpartum depression after my second child. I invited Tammy into my home in hopes of getting some coaching and support. Tammy has a very warm, calm, and soothing personality. Her personal expertise seems to know no end. Infant care and post-natal health as well as mental health, nutrition, and sleep. Tammy integrated into our home seamlessly and treated us with unending patience and warmth. She taught me how to care for my son and myself. Tammy is the best postpartum doula any new mother could ask for. She remains a very loved family friend who is adored by myself and my children.

I'm not sure I can put into words how incredibly grateful I am to Tammy. She came into my life at the perfect time and helped me through the challenges of being a first-time mom. I had a hard delivery and many health issues postpartum that left me unable to really function, like walking around without assistance, hold my beautiful baby, or keeping meals down without nausea. You know, "mom stuff". Tammy helped me to care for my baby when I couldn't, supported me in my recovery and eased my raging anxiety about being a new mom. Not once did she tell me I was crazy for being so anxious or that I couldn't do it. She lifted me up and told me that any decision I made regarding my child would be the right one and that any fears I had were natural. More than that, she talked through them with me and made me feel comfortable and safe enough to have doubts and frustrations.
On any given day that I saw Tammy, she would do tasks to make life easier around the house, care for baby while I napped, and always made me smile. Sometimes that was just enough to bring light into the endless restless days with my newborn.
Tammy also prioritized the safety of my family when coming to our home. Especially these days, with the coronavirus pandemic raging, I am very cautious about visitors or people handling the baby. She kept us safe and even changed social plans to limit exposing us and took great care when here to make it so that I didn't need to worry.
I cannot say enough good things about this amazing woman and how much she has helped me during this trying journey into motherhood. Her care and devotion made all the difference and I will be eternally grateful for our relationship. Thank you Tammy, for everything!!!

In my experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working with three different postpartum doulas…Tammy Huguenin was, by far, THE BEST…Her help was paramount in pulling me back from the dark and lonely abyss that I sank into after the birth of my third child…
It was a difficult pregnancy, resulting in a Cesarean section, involving the NICU, severe anxiety, coupled with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and (of course) Postpartum Depression—all with little to no support. I was drowning. And I knew that I was in no condition to take care of myself or my children.
Tammy Huguenin was a light amidst the shadows. She mothered me, she mothered my baby, my other two children—she mothered my whole family while I gained the strength to do it on my own. And Tammy helped me to find that strength. She was there to teach me so much, and to support and encourage me along the way. She aided me in setting up a sleep schedule for my fussy baby; she assisted me with breastfeeding issues such as weening when I was ready and needed to do so; she showed me how to feed my family meals that are both nutritious and economical; she helped me learn to budget my time and run my household more efficiently; she was there for mom to mom advice on everything from teething to sensory disorders…and so much more…Tammy kept me afloat when the postpartum storm threatened to take me down.
Tammy loves her job and it showed every moment she was with me—every moment she was building me back up—every moment she used her talent, care, compassion, experience, and dedication to help me put the pieces of my life back together…
Whatever your situation, you can’t find a better Postpartum Doula (or human being, for that matter) than Tammy Huguenin.

Tammy helped me after the birth of each of my four children, her support and encouragment was so uplifting. After my first birth I was 19 years old, and trying to balance a very unhealthy relationship with the father while recovering from an emergency c-section and adjusting to life as a new mother. Her compassion and understanding in my unique situation was amazing. With my second pregnancy, two and a half years later, I was in a much better place with my new husband and my toddler. I scheduled a repeat c-section, and after the birth she was so helpful while I adjusted from being a mother of one to a mother of two. My third birth my husband and I decided to try a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) with an epidural, thankfully the birth went well but I did have some problems with post partum depression and anxiety. Tammy helped me and my family adjust to having a new baby, and the advice and encouragement she gave me helped me in so many ways. With my last pregnancy, I had a VBAC without any medication. While the birth was successful, I did have an anxiety attack during labor. After the birth, my depression and anxiety were much worse than I had expected it to be. This being my fourth child, I thought I knew what to expect and what to do, but I found myself unsure and in need of some guidance. Tammy's support left me feeling empowered and confident, I can't thank her enough.
