Aracely is amazing! She’s professional, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She was a great teammate with my husband and made the whole experience smooth for both of us. It‘s because of her that my VBAC was a success. I would definitely recommend Aracely.

So, my daughter is now 9 months old, and per the usual, I'm late posting this.  But here's my experience with Aracely:

Having Aracely as my doula was one of the best decisions I made, while I was pregnant. She was sweet, kind, patient, attentive, and very knowledgeable. As a first time mother, I had no idea what to expect once I went into labor, but thankfully I had Aracely to guide me and help me through it all. Without her, I would not have found the strength to finally push my daughter out at 4 in the morning. She helped me dig deep for that extra "umff". 24 hours of labor is no joke.
In the early stages of labor, she kept checking on me to make sure things were progressing well and made sure to remind me to stay hydrated and fed. Once my contractions were closer together and I had entered active labor, she came over to help me breathe through the intensity of the contractions and help my boyfriend to coordinate calling the midwife for our arrival to the birth center.
I wouldn't change my personal birthing experience for anything. Everything happened the way it was supposed to happen. My daughter is healthy, I'm healthy, everybody's happy!
I picked the perfect birth center, with a great birthing team. But mostly, I picked the perfect doula. If I ever decide to have anymore babies, Aracely will be the first call I make. Thank you for everything, Aracely!

I was nervous about my first pregnancy and my husband must have been  even more nervous the day he told me he wanted a doula. Haha we interviewed 5 doulas that week and met Aracely first. We knew we liked her, but wasent sure if we should settle for someone cheaper. after meeting all the doulas we came back to Aracely. Her experience, personality, and genuine care to help made the decision easy. during the first interview she gave us recommendations and went out of her way to help us. She could see the stress on our faces when we told her we were a week away from my due date and just moved here and didn't have a doctor. She listened and quickly became a friend i felt comfortable to open up to.

During delivery she took control. when I didnt know what else to do she swooped in with positions to try to ease the pain...while my husband was able to take a nap When things took longer. Even though I didn't go with my original plan, she knew to not just give in, but let me work through my plan until I made my final decision. i couldn't imagine a smoother labor if it wasent for her. Even though there were  unexpected turns, she talked and explained everything that was happening to me that doctors were talking about. I remember rthe anesthesioigist talking to me, but everything was going through one ear and out the other while I was going through a contraction...i remember Aracely saying, "can you wait, can you see she's going through a contraction? ". Oh she is? He replies.  some doctors... ?? I highly recommend Aracely! The piece of mind is worth it!

Aracely is the most amazing person I've ever met. When I saw her for the first time, I already knew that she IS the one I want to share this journey with. She instantly made us comfortable, she was super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel so safe and secure, that our son decide to enter the world barely couple days after we signed the contract! :) even though it was so very last minute, Aracely had so much time and patience for me. She was responding to my calls and messages super quickly and I just knew I can count on her whatever happens. The help and compassion she has offered during labor and delivery were out of this world :) She not only cared for me - she cared for US: me, baby and my husband. With her help, we brough this miracle rainbow baby to this world, and I couldn't imagine doing it without her. Aracely, it was an honor to share this day with you! Julio, little Alex and I are forever greatful. Can't wait for baby #2 so we can do it all over again! :)

I'm originally from the U.K. and since I had only been in states for a short time before falling pregnant I knew I wanted a doula as my close friends and family would not be around for the birth of my first child. I was given several phone numbers by a friend and I knew instantly when I spoke with Aracely that she would be the one to join my husband and I on our very special journey to parenthood.

Arcacely is so kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Every question was answered and in a loving and professional way. She has that perfect balance. She held me hand in more ways than one and I am so thankful I made the decision to ask her to work with us.

Having Aracely as our Doula was such a positive experience for us. She knows her stuff when it comes to the medical aspects and the "natural" non traditional methods, which helped us make our own informed decisions. Aracely is the type of doula that will pamper you with her warmth and positivity. She's very caring and fun to have around, and knows when to turn on the seriousness if needed. She was always available to me and was with me when we needed her. She massaged my back during my entire labor and coached me through my delivery! I would definitely recommend her and have her as my doula again.

I cannot speaking highly enough about my experience with Aracely. She joined my husband and I during the birth of our first child, demystifying the whole process and providing amazing support the whole time. Aracely is wonderfully outgoing and personable, but more importantly, her warmth made us feel immediately at ease.

We were so happy to have her by our side as we prepared for the big day, and especially as we began to labor and headed to the hospital. She is very knowledgeable about birth and helped us understand that what we were experiening was totally normal.

Most notably for me, however, was her total support of the decisions we made, both with the birth plan and during labor. My birth experience ended up being pretty radically different from my plan, and at every step Aracely was supportive and made me feel empowered. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I would highly recommend Aracely to all of my pregnant mommy friends! From the moment I met Aracely I knew she was the person we wanted to hire to be our doula. After we signed our agreement I felt a huge sense of relief knowing I had someone that knew the ropes of pregnancy and birth that would guide us through the journey we wanted to experience to meet our baby.

After multiple revisions we had a birth plan with multiple scenarios! I wanted to have the most natural birth as possible, only accepting interventions if necessary. I said I would TRY for no-epidural but that went right out the window when my contractions were intolerable and I was exhausted. I had her support and reassurance that we talked about getting an epidural and it was okay if the time came and I wanted it.

After many hours of pushing our baby was doing well but I needed a c-section, my body was incapable of a vaginal birth and she was not coming out any other way. Aracely and the Kaiser staff did everything in their power to help us with a vaginal birth but we were prepared for different outcomes.

The time came when my husband and I needed a moment alone before the c-section. We were at peace with the way this baby decided to enter the world. Even though it wasn't Plan A or B we followed our birth plan and got everything we wanted, even music in the OR!

There were no regrets, no sense of emergency, no panic; just a sense of peace knowing I gave it my all and I had the best birthing team for the job. I thank Aracely for making it a positive experience for us all. It could have went a completely different way without her preparation and presence.

(By the way, Aubrey was HUGE 9 pounds 13 oz!)
