I was lucky to find Yvette about 4 weeks post partum to help with night nursing/sleep training. As a first time Mom, I was extra nervous/anxious to leave my baby with a stranger but Yvette was a godsend! She had a preliminiary zoom meeting with us- addressed questions/concerns/goals. She had amazing references who only sang her joys. We hired Yvette for 2 months and were sad to say good bye once baby was sleeping better. She gave us hours to sleep/reset and took great care of our baby with daily reports on how each night went and tips for sleep training. When she was away (or delivering babies) she would provide reliable back ups who would cover in her absence. In addition to being a reliable expert, Yvette was also an excellent communicator: replying to texts/emails promptly. She is also great with dogs. Our Ruby loved her. Worth every penny!

We truly can’t say enough good things about Yvette. Our labour did not go as planned at all. We had originally planned for a home birth but ended up with 5 days of prodromal labour and 3.5 days of actual labour with a bed/staffing shortage in the entire region, a diversion, an augmentation of labour, and an eventual c-section. She was very quick to answer my texts when I had questions before labour started, and when we were in labour, she was answering calls on the first ring. Yvette was there day and night, hour after hour, through the entire process, helping us navigate all the changes in our plans. She educated us, offered suggestions when asked, supported our decisions, advocated for us, comforted us, and reassured us. Despite the obvious sleep deprivation and challenges presented, she never wavered in her support. I do not know how we would have made it through without her. My labour experience would have been much different (worse) had she not been there. This was my first birth and there’s no way I would ever have another without a doula. It was well-worth the investment and I would choose Yvette again 100 times over. Thank you for everything!

One of the best decisions we made for our family postpartum was deciding to get Yvette on board! As first time parents, we decided to have Yvette help us navigate and settle into parenthood. She’s a thorough professional, highly knowledgeable, and full of compassion. She really helped us get things set-up most optimally at home to make our initial days as smooth as possible. Not just baby care, she made it a point to check-in on me and my husband too. She validated our concerns and emotions, and always made us feel at ease. I can say without a doubt that Yvette has helped me transition into a much more confident Mom. Thank you, Yvette!

The most loyal. Yvette stood by my side from 8am until 11am the following day. She provided excellent support and coached my partner to relieve pain through contractions. I could not imagine going through 38 hours of labour alone/without a professional. My partner and I are so thankful to have hired Yvette, and we highly recommend her!

Yvette supported our family after our twins were released from the NICU. She was a great source of knowledge and gave us lots of tips that made our day to day life easier. Apart from that she was great with the boys and a joy to be around. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help in the postpartum journey!

I will 100% recommend Yvette to anyone looking for a doula. Her calm and relaxed demeanour made it a safe environment for me to bring my daughter into this world. She showed a wealth of knowledge in labour and was able to keep my mind at ease that what was happening was normal and natural. I most definitely could not have done it without her help. Thank you very much for making my birth experience exactly what I wanted it to be.

I was very happy with the postpartum support that we received from Yvette over the course of several months. Yvette is professional and always prompt with communication. She has been helpful with not only caring for our baby (and watching our three year old) but other tasks around the home. I would highly recommend Yvette for her services! She is caring, accommodating to her clients needs, and knowledgeable.

My partner and I are so thankful for Yvette during our first pregnancy and delivery. I had a very long prelabour (approx. 2 days) so she was able to come to my home at 2:30am to help me move through my contractions through a variety of positions so I could reach the active labour phase. During the delivery, she was amazing at helping me breathe through my contractions, and more importantly during the pushing stage she kept me calm and focused which led me to have an efficient delivery (1 hr of pushing) and only a couple of minor (first degree) skin tears. My partner and I couldn't have done this without Yvette; we've talked extensively about how we really didn't know what to expect, but with her by our side, he was also able to watch our child being born. We're also amazed and really happy that we didn't need any medical interventions. We would highly recommend to anyone who is expecting to hire a doula, in particular Yvette!

Thank you Yvette for being part of our miracle of birth! Yvette is very knowledgeable on all things birth related and was able to answer my many questions and offer reassurance along the way. I was grateful that she was able to come home and check on me when I was in intense contractions and having difficulty managing the pain. She offered some pain management and positioning to assist which led me to spend 99% of my birth at home. I managed to get through a 10 hour birth without any medical interventions or medications. I believe it was due to her support in coaching me through breathing and keeping me focused on the end outcome. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable time in our lives!

My husband and I had great experience with Yvette as our doula. She was great at helping me focus with deep breathing - her calming voice during my contractions had managed the pain significantly. My husband loved Yvette so much because she gave him guidance and assurance during our 27 hours labour. Yvette was very helpful before and after birth and if I had any questions about pregnancy/postpartum, she was happy to respond with a great deal of insight. I would also strongly recommend having your placenta encapsulated which is a service Yvette provides. I was sceptical about it in the beginning because of mix reviews from other people. I did not take them regularly at first, but then I realized how it helped boost my energy and improved my emotions when I took them. My husband and I strongly recommend using a doula especially if you are expecting your first child, and Yvette is the doula for you.

Yvette was a HUGE part of our home birth experience. She was so supportive during her visits before the birth that we really felt like a team, ready to move forward as soon as baby decided he was ready to arrive. She was a rock for my husband, very comforting and reassuring and went above and beyond with the clean up to make sure we were well taken care of. Yvette has a very calming nature and she helped me feel peaceful throughout the birth which helped for a good birthing experience. After our son was born, Yvette checked in with us and was available for any questions we had. She is very knowledgeable and I always came away from our meetings feeling encouraged in my role as a mom. I would recommend Yvette without hesitation to anyone who would love some extra support for such a life changing event!

Yvette brought a sense of calm and reassurance to my home birth experience. She was a great coach and knew when to step in with support and when to just be present and available. I am so thankful she was there, I really believe it made a difference in how I experienced this birth. Overall I had a sense of peace knowing Yvette had my back.

Yvette was wonderful. I had an unexpected early labour. That midnight, she came into the hospital and stayed with me right after the nurse's call. She comforted me all the way through. She's a very sweet and caring person. Thank you Yvette!
