Kimberly was such a blessing to work with for the birth of my third baby! After the doula that I had for my first two babies moved out of state, I asked her for a recommendation to replace her, and she highly recommended Kimberly and said she though she would be a perfect fit- and she was right! Kimberly was calm, confident, and so knowledgeable. I am so thankful that Kimberly had knowledge and experience with the body ready method, I believe it was my working with her that enabled me to have a dream delivery. During our first meeting, I told Kimberly how I had had 28hr and 39hr labors with my first two babies, and how I would love to be in labor less than 24hrs with my third. She spoke of the Body Ready Method and how it may help, and I knew I needed to give it a try. Over the following months I met with Kimberly a handful of times and did exercises she gave me after completing an initial assessment. When my due date came and went, Kimberly offered to do a release BRM session to help bring on labor, and it worked! That evening on started having a few contractions, and at 11:00pm I told my husband that maybe we should blow up the birth pool "just in case." Well, true active labor began at about 1:00am, and I had my baby in my arms at 2:00am. No pushing as I was able to breathe my baby out while I experienced fetal ejection reflex for the first time. My daughter's birth was an absolute dream, and I truly believe Kimberly is a huge reason why! I can't say thank you enough for being a part of Macy's birth, Kimberly ??
