When we found out we were pregnant for a second time, we knew we needed Rachel as our Doula. She knows so many techniques that are extremely helpful throughout pregnancy and during labor. My main goal was to give birth vaginally, so we prepared for as few interventions as possible. Rachel was constantly either doing body work, giving counter pressure, reading affirmations, hypnobirthing, advising my partner how to give support, and advising on different laboring positions. During labor, Rachel’s encouragement helped me to welcome the contractions rather than fear them.
