In searching for a doula, my OB recommended LeNay and I never looked back after getting connecting with her. Right from the start LeNay took the approach of coaching, as this helped us prepare throughout my pregnancy with stretches, exercises, and diet. I personally suffer with Hyperemisis and this pregnancy Anemia was detected. LeNay gave me a thorough PDF protocol that when followed produced positive results in 4-6 weeks. I started noticing changes to my body within 72 hours!Every time I had a question about my health or prepping for birth, I found LeNay accessible and she would always respond in what is best for my body or my baby. My husband and I felt so extremely loved, cared for, and supported all along the way as LeNay continued to stay involved and checked in frequently. This gave us great comfort as the mystery of the unknown melted away through her guidance and care.
When starting to labor, we received a heavy involvement and coaching as to which positions to move into and direction for when to head over to the hospital. LeNay provided simplistic directives and coaching to ensure to head to the hospital at the appropriate time. She arrived shortly after we checked in, and LeNay stayed with us the entire night glued to my side without getting in the way of the hospital staff- she partnered alongside them VERY well, and she worked together with them as a team to ensure my labor was a beautiful story and helped me stick to my birth plan as close as possible. She coached my husband using a bone structor of the pelvic region so he was able to use the visual to better sooth and support me during my contractions. LeNay stayed involved the entire time. She was affirming and encouraging. With experiencing major back labor, LeNay massaged/pressed on my back through the contractions for 4+ hours during active labor, remaining stead and calm under pressure. She treated us like her own family. We hope to use LeNay for our future births!
