There are no words to describe how amazing and invaluable our experience was with Midwest Doulas. As first time parents who had recently experienced an early miscarriage, there were a lot of nerves going into our pregnancy. Justine and Ale were there every step of the way. From answering questions, to providing advice and reassurance, they helped set us up for success with the best possible information, education and birth team. After a difficult pregnancy dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum, we were blessed with an incredible labor and delivery. It was difficult, exhausting, and absolutely amazing. Ale was with us at home as labor progressed and did not leave my side until after our sweet daughter was born at the hospital. We attribute so much of our success to her. She helped guide us through everything from positions, to breathing, to encouragement when I needed it most. Having Ale there also allowed my husband to be supported and she helped him to help me during the most special and intimate moments in our life. Again there are truly no words to describe how thankful we are that we chose to work with Midwest Doulas. It was the best possible investment we could have made for our growing family, and we would never go through pregnancy and birth again without Ale by our side.
