Trina was such a wonderful doula both leading up to and during my labour and baby's delivery. She's incredibly warm-hearted and personable and knows exactly how to match the energy in the room. During our visits, it felt like I was hanging out with a friend and it was was so easy to feel comfortable with her. She made my husband and I feel much more prepared for the experience by walking us through what we could expect, and she paid particular attention to finding out my wants and needs around birth and made sure they were taken care of on the day of. She was always readily available via text and was very happy to research and send me things when I had questions about anything. On the day of itself, she was a rockstar with making sure I stayed comfortable and hydrated, including my husband in the process, and keeping the atmosphere relaxed. She even found time to take pictures on my phone throughout my labour (with my permission of course). Hiring her as my doula (aka birth fairy as I now think of her looking back) was the best decision I made for my birth experience and I highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking about having one at theirs!
