She was there for me, and my husband, every step of the way. Her knowledge of the birth process, especially when it came to my plan for a medicated hospital birth, had such a positive impact on my experience. Liz is data-centric and honest which helped me make some tough decisions, but she also brought the positivity and humor that i needed in order to get through those long hours. I look back on my labor with a fond memory of us sitting up chatting late at night, as she helped me through my anxiety. During my delivery she coached me through pushing and made me laugh when I needed it. Having Liz present meant that my husband and I were able to enjoy each other and stay focused on the excitement we shared knowing our girl was on the way. Liz worked with the hospital team to ensure we were always well informed and kept everything very low-stress. She knew the right questions to ask and the right requests to make. The hospital staff really appreciated Liz’s demeanor and professionalism, and they absolutely loved the visual birth plan that we made.
