We feel so fortunate to have been cared for by Midwest Doulas throughout my pregnancy and son's birth. Justine, Ale and Molly were such informative, approachable resources to us throughout the course of our pregnancy and helped us create a birth plan we really felt good about. Molly was exactly who I needed during a difficult birth experience. I cannot overstate how comforting and necessary her presence was to both me and my husband through a very long labor. Molly and Justine worked seamlessly with my midwife at home to help me through the intensity of active labor and transition. They did a beautiful job of selecting positions to ease pain and reposition the baby. Molly's presence and gentle nature kept me calm and reassured for over 24 hours. When my birth plan needed to change, Molly was by our side and helped us to navigate each decision with ease. She was a great advocate for me in the hospital and with me through surgery in the early hours of the morning. Without her I would have been scared and confused, but instead I felt confident and empowered. I cannot recommend Midwest Doulas highly enough and will be forever grateful to them for the way they helped us bring our first child into the world.
