Let's just say, I felt like the odds would be against me if I didn't hire Michelle! I took Michelle's Bradley Birthing Method classes during my first pregnancy because I wanted an unmedicated vaginal birth. A placenta previa diagnosis when I was 7 months pregnant prevented me from having the birth that I wanted. I had to have a scheduled cesarean.
When I got pregnant with my 2nd child, I knew Michelle would be who I needed to have a successful VBAC. I told Michelle, "I'll do whatever you tell me to do, please just keep me off the operating table." I experienced prodromal labor so it was hard to keep my contractions consistent. Michelle advised me to "curb walk" which finally swung me in to active labor. She arrived and had me do a circuit of different movements that brought my contractions closer and closer. When we arrived at the hospital, I was 10 cm and ready to push!!!!!! The timing was perfect. I experienced my entire labor at home and it was finally "go time". I looked at her with tears in my eyes so grateful! I pushed my daughter out in 4 pushes. I got the unmedicated VBAC I wanted and I have Michelle to thank for it!
