Kerri was our Doula for our first baby's birth. We didn't know anything about doulas, but she came highly recommended by our community. Delivering with Kerri was by far one of the best decisions we've made, as Kerri was able to provide both emotional and educational support prebirth through postpartum. She continues to be a suportive friend through the early months of being new parents when there were still alot of questions and uncertainty.
Kerri recommended Maggie as a lactation consultant, who immediately became a valuable support through the many challenges I experienced trying to nurse my baby girl. Maggie offered both encouragement, and her expertise to help us figure out some of the issues we were facing with our daughter's inability to latch and the many issues related to learning how to breastfeed.
It was very valuable to have a doula and lactation consultant who work together, and made my husband and I feel comfortable and that we had a team of support. Both of them were always acccesible for questions and follow up visits if needed, which was reassuring. My husband and I felt immediately that we could trust Maggie and Kerri, two warm and loving mothers themselves. We highly recommend working with Milk and Honey Sisters and look forward delivering our future babies with them! <3
