Ethel was the backup doula for my doula and attended my birth without ever having met me or my husband before. Given that we had no prior communication, Ethel effortlessly integrated herself into my labor as if we had known her and practiced with her for months. She applied counterpressure and light touch throughout the entire acive labor, she helped me apply all of my hypnobirthing strategies to achieve a peaceful and quick labor.
