- Training offered
- Complete this thorough training and become a Boston Baby Nurse Certified Postpartum Doula. Course objectives include the following. Students will gain an understanding of what a postpartum doula is and what their goals are. They will learn the differences and similarities between doulas as well as understand baby care vs. family care. Students will learn how to support the family as a unit. Additionally, students will be guided through how doulas can recognize signs and support parents with postpartum mood disorders. And lastly, students will have a refresher on some newborn care and feeding support. The course is taught by Annie, an Advanced Newborn Care Expert and DONA certified Postpartum Doula & Carole Kramer Arsenault, an RN specializing in obstetrics and maternal health.
- Summary of qualifications
- We have a team of expert here at Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny with experience in the nursing, doula, and early childhood field. Carole Kramer-Arsenault is the CEO and founder of Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny. She has years of experience working with newborns as a lactation consultant, sleep coach, and of course an RN specializing in Obstetrics and Maternal Health. You can rest assured that the information we provide strictly adheres to the guidelines and recommendations published by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Additionally she is the author of the award winning parenting book, Newborn 101. Annie G. is an Advanced Newborn Care Expert and Certified Postpartum Doula with 11 years of newborn and maternal care experience. Additionally, Annie is a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Birth Doula. Kelsey D. graduated with her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 13 years of hands-on experience in the early childhood field working at an accredited early learning center and nannying before becoming a mother.

- Our training is research based, reviewed by experts from the Boston medical community, and follows the standards set by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
