Training offered

The Doula Right Thing Birth Education Program is a training program designed to prepare individuals to become birth and postpartum doulas. Our birth and postpartum doula training recognizes that not all people are equally seen or served in the field of birth work. We believe in uplifting the needs of those who are often ignored, including but not limited to BIPOC and LGBTQ birthing families.

Summary of qualifications

Former licensed and certified birth and postpartum doula and trainer for the National Black Doula Association, Certified DONA Doula, Certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator, Certified Educator of Infant Massage, IRTH Ambassador, Birthing Advocacy Childbirth Educator and Doula Mentor I have advocated for BIPOC birthing persons by attending the Black Mamas Matter Health Conferences and continue to enhance my knowledge and education in birth and reproductive justice.

Style of teaching

My passion for birth work and advocacy led me to become the doula I wanted to be. Through witnessing countless birthing persons, my love grew to be the best doula and advocate I could be. Doula Right Thing Services aims to make all birth experiences as positive and healthy as possible. Doula Right Thing Services provides for parents who need a birth doula, childbirth education, and postpartum care. Doula Right Thing also provides services for certified doulas who need additional mentorship, individuals interested in becoming doulas, and community awareness for self-advocacy.
