Anna offers three CAPPA trainings live via Zoom. She offers the Labor doula training, postpartum doula training and Childbirth Educator training. CAPPA Postpartum Training Caring for moms, babies and families is a dream job, but can also be a career! Take the first step by becoming a Certified Postpartum Doula with CAPPA. This 20-hour life changing workshop meets the first requirement of your CAPPA Postpartum Doula program and prepares you to work through the steps for certification. This course will prepare you to support families as a postpartum doula. CAPPA Labor Doula training This eighteen hour workshop meets the first requirement of your CLD program and prepares you to work through the steps for certification. This course is designed to provide a foundational skill base, knowledge, and perspectives on professional labor support for perinatal professionals, as well as providing training for those seeking certification as certified labor doulas with CAPPA. Offering 18 CAPPA Contact Hours. Nursing contact hours potentially available on request. CAPPA Childbirth Educator training In this training you will learn how to effectively create and implement curriculum. You will open so many doors for yourself and be able to offer classes in a variety of settings. This training is perfect for nurses, labor doulas, postpartum doulas, childbirth educators, lactation consultants, educators looking to change their focus, and anyone wanting to support families through this amazing time!

Anna Rodney, owner of Chicago Family Doulas, Birth and Baby University, Arizona Doulas and CAPPA Labor and Postpartum Doula Trainer is offering training via Zoom. Anna is an incredibly passionate teacher and would love to share her passion, skills and knowledge with you. Anna Rodney is a committed life long learner and has spent her entire adult life in the field of education. After the birth of her first child in 2009 Anna became incredibly committed to learning as much as possible about birth and babies. She first became a labor and postpartum doula and childbirth educator and has continued to grow her knowledge base and accomplishments. Anna is a Newborn Care Specialist, Lactation Educator, Lamaze Instructor, Happiest Baby on the Block parent educator, a former Hypnobirth Instructor and Faculty for CAPPA. Anna trains Labor and Postpartum Doulas and Childbirth Educators through CAPPA. Her commitment to learning is only matched with her commitment to supporting and educating families on their incredible journey to parenthood. Anna supports families through her incredible classes and also as a doula agency owner. Through her agencies she has the privilege of talking with thousands of expecting and new parents. This opportunity has allowed her not only to connect with and share with families, but also learn from them. Prior to shifting her focus to expecting parents Anna was a Special Education teacher for over a decade. She has multiple degrees in Special Education and has her Masters Degree in education. She believes deeply in making learning palatable, fun and applicable. She creates her curriculum with her love for this work and deep understanding of families. She believes in making this career a lifelong one filled with Joy and success.
