Training offered

I offer a comprehensive postpartum doula mentorship program to help aspiring or newly trained postpartum doulas with all of the questions they have to get started in this business with confidence. New doulas don't have to go it alone. We go over everything you need to know to establish and grow your business, market your business to the right people, enhance your perinatal knowledge base, support clients in the best way possible and so so much more.

Summary of qualifications

I have been a business owner for 14 years and a doula business owner for 7 years. I have been a certified postpartum doula and certified breastfeeding specialist for 6 years. I am a trained birth doula, trained childbirth educator and trained sleep consultant. I have supported over 250 families through my childbirth and newborn classes, birth doula support, postpartum doula support, parent groups, agency placements, grandparents classes, special events, breastfeeding consults and more. I have been a mentor for the past 4 years and recently grew and expanded my mentorship.

Style of teaching

I am real, honest and fun (I think so at least!). I am here to help you get this business going WITH support. We support families best when we are supported too. We have (small) group meetings so you get to meet other mentees and learn from each other too. Everyone also has at least one 1:1 meeting with me, your mentor. You will get the opportunity to shadow professional postpartum doulas (Boston and Atlanta only currently), take a breastfeeding for professionals class from an experienced lactation consultant, audit my childbirth and newborn client classes and so much more. I offer supporting materials along the way and the opportunity to purchase additional materials, including a professional written contract.
