Training offered
Monthly 2 hour in person/virtual training that helps you step fully in to your allyship as a doula. The important of learning and using inclusive language in your marketing and in person, understanding the queer experience while trying to conceive as a way to inform your care for queer clients. I’m here to guide birthworkers toward more expansive, affirming, and liberatory practices—where every family feels seen, respected, and deeply tended to. I bring together lived experience, embodied wisdom, and practical tools to support those who support others.
Summary of qualifications
I am a queer mom who navigated the world of fertility trying to conceive for over two years. I am now the non-bio parent to our daughter and learned a lot the hard way. I can use my insights to prepare and empower queer couples now on their unique journey. I've also had so many conversations with doulas where after hearing my story I would often hear " I had no idea you would have to go through that". I"m using my lived experience as a queer person in the world and trying to conceive to educate birthworkers so that they can better support queer families too!
Style of teaching
My teaching is heart-led, grounded in lived experience, and rooted in collective care. I believe inclusive practice isn’t a checklist—it’s a daily commitment to reflection, action, and relationship. In my trainings, we create a brave space to get curious, unlearn, and grow together. I lead with tenderness, humor, and clarity—offering real-world tools and language that birthworkers can use right now to create safer, more affirming spaces for queer and trans families. You’ll leave with more than insight—you’ll leave with community, confidence, and a clearer understanding of your role in the radical act of inclusive care.

I took Morgan’s mini course for birthworkers, Understanding the Queer TTC Experience and Beyond, and I have nothing but the best things to say. This self-paced course clearly comes straight from Morgan’s heart. It offered a wealth of insight along with practical templates that I’ve already put to use in my postpartum work.

I took the course hoping to become a better ally to queer families, and I left with a much deeper understanding of the complexities queer folks face when it comes to family planning. These are things many people take for granted, but the course helped me see them with new clarity. One of the most impactful parts for me was hearing from individuals who shared their personal journeys. Their stories were powerful, real, and stayed with me long after I finished the course.

This course also gave me the tools and confidence to update all my client materials to use more inclusive language. That shift alone has helped me become more intentional in how I show up and support families. It also helped me think beyond TTC and consider what queer inclusion looks like throughout the entire perinatal period.

Morgan’s course is full of compassion, depth, and a strong commitment to community care. She creates a space that feels safe, grounded, and purposeful. You can truly feel how much thought and love went into every part of this offering. I would absolutely recommend learning from Morgan to any birthworker who wants to show up more fully and thoughtfully for all families.

P.S. Happy Pride Month!
