My workshops are more than just a training -- they're an opportunity to step into your calling, refine your skills, and join a supportive community of like-minded individuals. My training meets the requirements of ICEA's path to doula certification. ICEA certified professionals are trained to provide family-centered perinatal care and to promote the freedom of choice based on knowledge of alternatives.

Summary of qualifications

With over 20 years working as a childbirth educator and birth doula, and 400+ births attended, my real-time experience informs my workshops. I believe in a lifelong commitment to learning and professional growth, so I have attended many supplemental trainings to add to a diverse knowledge base.

Style of teaching

I love teaching an in-person, interactive training because doula work is an intuitive, hands-on profession. I am committed to staying connected with my workshop participants for continued mentorship and collaboration. I chose to certify with ICEA because I align with their mission and vision to create a culture where expectant families are safe, respected, and able to make informed decisions based on best evidence.
